He simply loved too deeply that no one else mattered. Even for this son, the only reason he would worry is simply because she did.

"Then father? Those words were spoken merely in a biased manner?" without the slightest bit of hesitation, Dai Orthius replied. "En,"

"It is good, then I know that my young Zephyra will never suffer unjustly." A firm voice announced. Dai Orthius bowed to the old madam and greeted formally.

"Greetings to the old madam Bai. This one hopes you have been well."

"En, all has been well. What you have said is, in fact, good for my little Zephyra. I hope she continues like this. If what you have said about your son and she does accepts then I hope he treats her like the blood of his heart."

Dai Imisaki stepped forward and performed a formal bow, then greeted the old madam Kai. "Greetings to old madam Kai."

Old madam Kai rested her gaze on the young boy. Her grandson was a handsome male, even more so since the little one began taking care of him. He had grown quite well and ranked up multiple times to the point that he resembles a much older male. Yet this boy before her seemed much more delicate. His eyes were similar to her grandson's a proof that both are related by blood. His bone structure seemed a bit too feminine, his body quite slim and delicate, while his skin seemed milky white to the point he looked rather otherworldly.

Eliminating from him seems to be a natural coldness, with an air truly fit for a noble son. Old madam Kai found him fascinating immediately and could not help but to continue watching him before she spoke.

"young Dai boy, we have finally met. This old one has seen." Saying that, they walked a few more steps to a nearby pavilion and took a seat. Quickly the servants began to set up nearby. A pot of tea with three cups was placed, a few plates of well-made snacks followed soon after. Seated comfortably, old madam Kai continued to say while her gaze flitted over to her relative from the Dai line. "This son is one many will covet. You did the right thing by asking me to give him to young Zephyra." Old madam Kai paused before continuing. "Is it what he desires? And how did she react?"

"My son has not opposed the idea. The young miss did not say anything."

"Mm, she is still young after all, so it is fine."

"En."

"About him attending school. He is old enough, though seemingly sickly, if he is to become one of her husbands he must have the right social standing." Old madam Kai announced. She turned her sharp gaze to the young boy and began to speak. Normally children have no say in the matter of schooling or marriage, but this is for the sake of her grandson and the young Zephyra. She will be marrying in, and this boy has been selected to become a secondary husband. Already he is too beautiful, but he is also too weak. Adding the fact he would have no official schooling accounted for in the public database. It is best for him to attend the school as soon as possible.

"Young Dai. If your appearance can be adjusted and your rank raised to a point where you would not be so sickly."

"En, young Dai will obey." old madam Kai felt pleased with this young man and pondered a bit. The Kai's main branch is weak. This boy is related to her but not directly to the Kai family, still, he is also related to her grandson.

She pondered further.

To have this boy marry in would not be difficult, but what if when he attends school he changes his mind?

What of her little Zephyra?

Hmm, it would be best to first have him attend the school for a few years and return during breaks to cultivate feelings. If he changes, then she can always allow him to go on his merry way. What happens then would not be her problem.

"Return during breaks and try cultivating feelings with the young Zephyra. I am aware that your views might change. In our empire it is exceptionally rare for a male to become a secondary husband." old madam Kai said these words casually. Even though they were said like so, she still kept her gaze on the boy.

Dai Imisaki kept calm. His father gave out a pressure, but this old madam Kai seemed to give out a pressure that made him appear he was being held down. Still, he refused to show weakness or disrespect. Dai Imisaki answered in a truthful tone. "I have never thought of sharing my wife before with another. Right now I can say after meeting the young miss. I find her quite likeable, but there is nothing else. It has been one meeting only and can confirm nothing."

"Well said." old madam, Kai said. "Try the tea, these tea leaves were specially plucked, dried and provided by young Zephyra." the two guests reached almost at the same time and took a sip of the cooled tea. For Dai imisaki, this tea seemed familiar yet not as much. The first taste was familiar but the after taste seemed to have blended and exploded wonderfully in his mouth.

Immediately he felt hot, his entire form trembled followed by his entire person falling forward.
