Death 03

"System? Hello... System, are you there?" Theo tried unsuccessfully to communicate with his auxiliary system.

"I can't believe this, on top of these stupid powers, now this. My system is broken," he thought. "Let me see... how was it?... I remember... System 456825.6," he said.

<How can I assist you, host?> the system's voice sounded this time.

'It must be a joke,' he thought. "Do I have to die for each type of power, energy, or thing?" he asked, trying to figure out how his powers actually work.

<It all depends on your imagination> was the response he received.

'Yeah, that helped a lot,' he began to ponder. 'Imagination, huh... imagination... hmm... I got it,' Theo smiled, thinking of a possibility.

Back in the garage, he needed a few things for his experiment.

His brother Tony was lying down, tinkering with something on his robotic arm.

"Did you mess with my generator? There's a smell of something burnt," Tony paused his activity and questioned Theo.

'Something burnt, your rear end,' he thought about how he had to electrocute himself. "I didn't use it, don't need to," he replied.

"Hmm... okay," said Tony, lowering his mask and returning to his task.

Theo ignored his brother and went to the back area. "Found it," he said, locating a large ladder he needed for his test.

Passing by Tony, who was still playing with his robotic arm, he took the ladder to the backyard and positioned it to access the roof.

Climbing up the ladder, he was now a few meters above the ground and ready to put his test to the proof. "Let it be as Kami-Sama wishes," he said before leaping headfirst onto the concrete below.

Crash... Thud... the sound of something falling and breaking echoed.

*DING* the system sound came again.

POWER UP!!!

<Fall Damage Immunity>

And Theo rose as if nothing had happened. 'Imagination, huh... I guess I can use this,' he thought, smiling.

Since the ability mentioned fall damage, he wouldn't suffer any damage from any fall, regardless of the height. At least, that's what he thought, but he would have to conduct some tests to confirm.

Retrieving the large ladder, he returned to the garage.

"Did you drop something? I heard a noise," his brother Tony asked.

"I didn't hear anything," Theo replied and went back to his daily tasks.
