USJ Part 1

This = sign language

Today is the day. I was asked by Principal Nezu to go on the USJ trip as backup, and here I am, wearing my hero costume, hearing aids in one hand, phone in the other. Looking around, I see Mari and Mina flirting, so obviously as tribute to Lexi, I must harass her.

"That's not PDA I see, is it Mari?" I questioned the girl.

"No...Well anyway bye!" She signed back, dragging the pink skinned girl toward the bus.

'Well, okay then.'

I stepped onto the bus, quickly scanning for Shota. Once I found him, I plopped into the seat next to him.

"Hey," I spoke softly, noting his more exhausted than usual figure.

"Hi," he replied, a yawn lacing itself into his voice.

As I look around, I notice we're missing someone, but I can't figure out who. As I continue to scan, I realize that Bakugo, nor Midoriya, are on the bus. I excuse myself, and begin to retrace my steps, trying to figure out where these boys went. As I enter back into the school, I see Bakugo frantically looking on the ground, Midoriya following behind.

"Hey, what happened? Did you loose something?" I asked them, noting their panicked faces.

"I lost my hearing aids," Bakugo replies in frantic sign language.

In an attempt to calm him, I sign back, "Okay, try to calm down. I know it's easier said than done, but panicking will not help. If anything, it will make it worse."

As I watch him go from panicked to his usual angry, tough guy persona, I begin to thing of where he might have left them.

"Do you remember when you had them last?" I asked, hoping that maybe he could remember.

"No, but shitty Deku probably does."

"Watch it Bakugo," I signed while staring sternly.

"WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO YOU?!" He signed aggressively, his glare hardening.

"Well anyway, enough of that. Midoriya, do you remember the last time he had them?" I spoke to the green haired boy.

"Yeah, last I remember, he had taken them off in the locker room so they wouldn't fall onto the floor when he changed," he replied sweetly.

"Thank you Midoriya."

Turning back toward the angry 16 year old, I sign to him, "Midoriya says you took them off in the locker room before changing. Why don't you go check in there?"

As the angry teen storms off in the direction of the locker rooms, I turn to the other, calmer, teen.

"Thanks for your help. Why don't you head back to the bus? I'll wait here for him." I spoke, grateful for the information provided.

"O-okay, good luck!" He smiled as he ran off to the bus.

After waiting for about 5 minutes, I see Bakugo return, hearing aids in his ear, a frustrated expression painted onto his face.

"Thanks or whatever..." he trailed off, though I think he was rather embarrassed at his mistake.

"Oh it's nothing. The person you need to thank is Midoriya. He was the one that remembered," I replied, and began to walk to the bus.

Boarding the bus once more, I sat in the seat I was in originally, next to Shota. Doing a headcount once more, I double check that everyone is on the bus before we leave the school.

Upon pulling up to USJ, a commotion broke out in the bus. I heard things like, "Is this Universal Studios Japan?!"

It is not.

Not last I checked anyway.

After calming down the class, Shota does attendance once more, to make sure that nobody has either been left on the bus, or run off.

"I expect you all to be on your best behavior. Please, don't do anything stupid or idiotic." He spoke out to the class. I watched as some of the students stood up straighter as he spoke, attempting to hide their very obvious nervousness.

Shota turns and begins walking toward the entrance, the students following excitedly behind him. As I follow behind them closely, I sense a light change in the air. I note this as odd, but I figure it's probably just the wind direction changing. Because I was so lost in my thoughts, I didn't even realize that we had already entered USJ. I looked around in awe. I haven't been here in years! I realized that I probably looked quite strange, so I reeled in my inner child, and walked my way up to the front with Shota and Thirteen.

"Thirteen, it's nice to meet you!" I said, shaking their hand, smiling gently.

"Nice to meet you Weather-Girl!" They replied.

I move to stand next to Shota and listen to Thirteen talk to the class about quirk safety, and how their quirks should be used to help people, not harm them. As they speak, I slowly zone out, my mind drifting off.

'I need to pick out my dress and veil by next month, and I haven't even gotten started! I also need to pick out my flowers, and my brides maids. Lexi is already my Maid of Honor, but past that, I know next to nothing. All I know is that out wedding is going to be in a flower field, but that all I really know...'

I snap out of it, realizing that I need to be paying attention in case something happens. I also realize that my stress rising, even though it was only a minute or two, had started a small gust of wind around me. As I take a few deep breaths to calm down, I look ahead at the class, noting Bakugo's screaming, and the class's attempt at calming him down.

Key word: attempt.

I tune back into the conversation, when all of a sudden, a large gust of wind hits us, knocking us down. I hear confusion among the class, so I sit up, and standing right in front of me, is Shigaraki Tomura.

Well, this all just went to shit.

Sorry this took so long! It is technically on time, but I am still a high school student, and I have practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also edit my friend's stories, so busy times are ahead for me! Thanks for reading, and tune in next Tuesday!
