Much Ado about Nothing

It's been kind of hectic around the house, my mom is preparing the guest room for Kai, my Nainai is on a cleaning spree, she even called her Feng Shui Master friend to come over.

Me? You're wondering... Hummm...I've gone M.I.A (Missing in Action) which means I've run away and I'm at the twins, they're my older cousins and my partners in "crime" since I could walk.

"OMG! Hana, could you stop complaining already!!There's literally nothing we can do, even if you nag us to death!" Jordan said dramatically walking around, after hearing what went down when I met Kai and after.

"But Jordy...How Am I going to live in the same house with that dude??" Jordan just gives me one of his nasty bitch looks, having a gay cousin is cool they said, they're girls best friends they said, well it's not the fact that Jordy is gay, he's just the fact that he is one nasty mother f***** , very down to earth and doesn't take crap from anyone...including me.

"Come on Jordan, have a heart, Hana's facing a huge dilemma!" Michael the other twin puts in, but gets the same look I got, puts his hands up in a mock defeat.

"Sure I'll have a heart, and every time Hana can't solve her own life we'll be there right around the corner to solve it for her! Dude I'm not being mean I'm trying to help her grow up, like I do with you!" Jordan said in a don't even dare argue tone.

"Ok, ok... don't get your panties in a twist! I'll figure something out." I say trying to lighten the mood.

"What are you going to do?" Michael asks looking bummed, Jordan is always on his case.

"To be honest, I don't have a clue, I think I'll play it as it goes, try and stay out of his way, maybe I'll survive." I look up to Michael that got up from the couch and came to sit next to me, he hugged my shoulders, patting me sweetly.

"It's OK to not know what to do, not all of us are like Jordan, so just take it easy, one step at a time." Michael said giving the middle finger to his angry brother behind my back, Michael is such a sweet heart you would think he's the gay one, but he isn't, this was a surprise for our family, when Jordy came out, we all thought Michael was gay too, but damn! They don't come straighter than Mikey! (You'll know what I'm talking about...)

My cousins are great guys, and a huge support (these dudes have my back, like 100% of the time), we grew up together and despite the age difference (they're five years older) they always made me feel loved and welcomed, they also highly contributed to my and Mark's addiction to everything related to gaming and tech.

They just graduated from M.I.T (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and they have two Start Up companies, I've been working with them, in secret, I want to surprise my mom, I have enough money saved up to pay for the mortgage and to pay for my education, and I'm making money everyday.

"Stop babying Hana, she doesn't need it, she needs to know how to defend herself from guys like you!" Jordan comes closer to the couch and snatches me from Michael, almost making me fall, but readily catching me, oh boy, he's every "Fujoshi" dream( Japanese term for women that like "Yaoi" also known as Boys Love "BL").

At 6'3 and built like football players both my cousins always made me feel like a midget, I still remember one of the few times I got attention at school was when Michael came to pick me up, the girls stopped and stared at him, it was almost like they were in a trance.

Thank God I'm immune, to tall dark and handsome with bright blue eyes, my cousins are like a carbon copy of each other, identical twins no way to distinguish them unless you're me, I found out very young the only thing that tells them apart, a speckle of green in Michael's left eye.

My aunt used to have them cut their hair different, so she could tell them apart, but that got harder over time, specially with Jordy, now it's quite easy to tell them apart, they are like day and night, the sun and the moon, Jordan is effervescently extroverted , while Michael is almost an introvert.

"Jordy put me down!" I wriggle until he drops me on my feet.

Sir Michael come to the rescue, " Let's get you some Ice cream! It's too hot to think." he pulls me by the hand and takes me to their huge kitchen, it's so beautiful, the woodwork reminds you of those kitchen's you see on Country decor magazines, the marble floors feel cold under your feet and that is a blessing in this heat, Michael gets me some Ben & Jerry's, Chocolate Brownie, my favorite.

I feel wonderfully full after devouring a whole carton of Ice Cream and my Kai problems seem to be a world away.

"Damn girl! You still eat Ice cream like there's no tomorrow!" Michael says while cleaning my face with a paper napkin.

"If I ate that amount of Ice cream, I'd be dead." Jordan looks at me with a disgusted look on his face.

"F*** off!" I say giving Jordan the middle finger.

"Oh will you look at that! Michael you're rubbing off on Hana, she's giving me the finger!" Jordan laughs.

"Yeah! That's my girl! She doesn't take crap from anyone and I mean anyone, so that Kai dude better watch his six, cause he's got it coming!" Michael high fives me.

Not sure how my life is going to pan out from here on out, but I'll be damned if I let some guy ruin all my efforts.

I've always been a make love not war kind of girl, but if it's war he wants, hell, I'll be more than happy to oblige.

So Bring it on!
