Unfortunately, his perfect reign doesn’t last long and an unexpected event causes him to be transmigrated into a new world through a pitiful death. James is reborn into a realm of supremacy and struggle, where each world is its own pillar, lifting up the central station of magic… The upper realm. 7 Monarchs, 7 Seats, and a Tournament of Power - a competition worth everything. Does he have what it takes to occupy all the seats and have all the worlds at the palm of his hands? Or will he be held back by revenge, lust, and death? Follow James on his new journey, to once again reach the top of the food chain and become the Strongest Sovereign... ========= A/N: The first couple of chapters aren't the greatest due to my lack of experience when I first started writing, this caused the pacing and planning of the first few chaps to be flawed. Therefore, some readers may be disinterested to read after this point but I strongly do urge you to carry on reading. After the time skip, the Story, Plot, and characters, all get better and become much more fledged out. Enjoy Reading! Cover Art by @ara_meraki

The Heritage War (2)

BOOM! BOOM!

Powerful shockwaves resounded and shook the air as both the Darkness Candidate and I clashed with our swords. We moved back and forth in the air clashing then separating then moving in again.

The war down below was also moving to a close as the commandments and soldiers on the Darkness Candidate's side were suffering a lot.

Not only did all the demon soldiers on their side die from my first attack, the shadow soldiers that were being killed weren't returning like they would. The commandments were also straining themselves fighting my subordinates, who were still at peak condition.

'Ice spears.'

I flicked my wrist firing thousands of sharp icicles towards the Darkness Candidate. He weaved around in the air, creating a shield of darkness mana, which wrapped around his arm. They blocked some of the spikes, lowering the damage he was taking.

'Switch.'

I swapped positions with one of the icicles.

'Lightning Call.'
