Chapter 1

There was nothing but darkness. I had long lost my will to live, but I couldn't die. I couldn't even move. I didn't even know if I could see or not. I didn't know how long I was here in this void. I didn't even know if I was still alive or not. As time passed i started to doubt whether I was conscious or not as I didn't have a way to verify. No one to talk to and no one to prove my existence. I didn't know how long this was going to last for but hopefully it wouldn't last forever.

Surprisingly after all this I knew who I am. Or was. I could remember my life in full detail.

After what seemed like eternity, I finally felt my eyes. Without wasting a second more I forcefully opened them fearing that this opportunity might disappear if I hesitated. Instantly after this my senses returned. I could see blurry tree-like figures and a blue sky. I could hear the wind blowing softly around me and insect sounds. I could feel the grass beneath me and the rays of the sun on my skin as I stared at the sky. I was finally alive again.

My vision finally stabilized confirming that the said blurry figures were indeed trees.

"What is going..." I said but before I could finish, I was hit by a wave of memories. These were memories of a girl who was an heir of a noble house. This girl was arrogant because of her inheritance and didn't even take her cultivate seriously after she reached a certain stage. She was banished from her family and her little sister took her tittle. In this cruel cultivation world, this little princess found new friends. The friends later betrayed her taking the resources she had managed to take when she left her home. She was left to die in a forest.

After the memories I was both surprised and confused. Whose memories were they?

Suddenly another wave invaded my brain but this time it wasn't memories but information.

It was basically an explanation of what the hell was going on.

As you might have guessed, this arrogant supposed to be dead girl was now me. I got reincarnated like those anime and fan fictions from my past life. Surprisingly I was now the Red Dragon Emperor, wielder of the the boosted gear Longinus in High School DxD.

This body also surprisingly looked exactly Rias Gremory. My last ability was 'Appraise'.

I could see other people cultivation realms and my own power rank compared to the ranks in this world. This is all it could do.

After gaining all this information I instantly came up with a conclusion. There was no way I was going back to that void place. This means I was not going to die again. I am going to become immortal even if it meant killing half of this world's population. I was going to make sure that I wasn't going to die no matter what. But she wasn't going to a laid back person. She was going to do what ever she wanted but only after sufficient preparations as underestimating people will be suicide.
