They didn't realise that I was there watching them bully and hurt Kai. I couldn't stop myself and before I knew it, I grabbed the collar of 2 guys and pulled them down. The other 2 still processing what just happened, stood there motionless. I kicked the first in the balls while the second who was the leader of the group had his face smashed by my knee.

Off he fell, with blood gushing from his nose and him screaming in pain. The first two that were already on the ground were mortified and decided to run off. I look at Kai disappointed, feeling sorry for him to have to go through all of this again. I pick him up, dust off his uniform and drag him back to the school building.

The moment we reached the corridor, he broke down, tears rolling down his cheeks. He wasn't weak, he was just afraid. I wiped his tears telling him that I'm going to be there for him. He gave a weak smile and we headed to class. The boy bleeding from his nose rushed to the nurse's room, crying with the 3 boys accompanying him. She asked what happened, with him lying that he fell down the stairs. I wonder why he lied...
