Phew, after exercising, which is just running around, jumping, basic calisthenics and what not. My 5 year old body is now sweaty, now to increase my exercise effectiveness eat a good meal. Gotta fit your macros bro.

-pain resistance lvl 10

: makes the skill bearer resist pain, making them able to endure more stimuli. Gives 5% resistance to pain inflicted to self

-Fatigue resistance lvl 12

: lets the skill bearer resist fatigue better, resulting in longer times being awake or uptime in strenuous activities. Gives 6% more resistance to fatigue due to activities done

-basic neural signal acceleration lvl 10

the brain of the skill bearer's neural pathways are more efficient and faster than average due to increase in synaptic activity, neurotransmitter production, dendritic spines for more neuron connections, and increase myelin in axons for faster electrical signals. Gives 10% more calculating power to the brain and increase to reflexes.

Hmm not bad, not bad at all. I am currently almost as strong as an average adult, my INT though, pretty high due to reading every literature related to my goals in our library, especially when I only need about 5 hours of sleep a day. It kinda slowed down though, just a 9 point increase, probably because I need to branch out to other information other than biology.

Due to my arduous studying, I also had a new skill, pretty important too I would say.

Enhanced Memory lvl 5

-due to the massive information dump that the skill bearer has put himself into, data can now be more compartmentalized easily leading to less forgetfulness and difficulty recalling.

Ooh, yeah baby, this will be important as well, I can already taste the upgrade this skill will have. The memory palace, that is important to my research for I will be needing A LOT of knowledge and data.

As for the others I also learned.

Metabolic Control lvl 4

-due to minor manipulations to eating habits and physical activities, the skill bearer can now increase or decrease basic metabolic processes i.e. Hunger, digestion, cell energy production.

This will lead to better body efficiency, and if I level this up religiously ultimately upgrading it. I might just control my body enough so I can basically mould it to perfection.

But this all pales in comparison to what I have found in the internet when I was finally allowed to surf it. One day being excited just how much faster and awesome scifi internet would be. Watching some videos on some kind of youtube platform, trying to see what is the advancement of other tech and of course, games.

There I saw some pretty old news. A honkai impact, as I was intrigued what it was and why was it pretty important because when I searched about it tons of things appeared. The very 1st one happened about a few decades ago, at the west continent I think is america due to the map. There was sudden increase in energy in the heart of a major city likely this place's New York or something. At 1st it wasn't really that concerning, minor at best. Then after a few hours animals started to become rabid, mutating as well getting bigger and bigger, stronger, more vicious.

Pet owners started getting mutilated by these new life forms, which are now called honkai beasts. When panic was now starting to increase and paranoia is rampant. Boom a pulse of energy so strong it decimated the whole city almost instantly. Killing approximately a million people based on estimations.

But that wasn't even the worst part. The energy now called honkai energy was like radiation, the huge amount of it after the impact seeped into the populace. Turning them to super powered zombies that can break concrete walls without that much difficulty. As the zombies and the honkai radiation wreaked havoc in the city, there was almost no response by the government. It was like a nuclear explosion with a zombie outbreak that compliments each other.

With this catastrophe it would probably need a month at least even if the current tech is vastly superior due to the mutated freaks of nature and deadly radiation, leading to exponential amounts of disaster.

The most important part though that led to the decimation of 99% of the population of that city, was the birth of a herrscher. (ruler or lawmaker in german).

The herrscher was armed with supernatural powers, even bending reality and physics to their will. This particular one had the power to spawn things from thin air. And the very thing it made were weapons, not ordinary hot weapons though. It made bombs and chemical weapons. Though scientists and researchers now weren't quite sure why it didn't make those with nuclear or overwhelming firepower.

After he was subjugated after a long fight because it was making energy fields that can't be pierced by simple weapons. The herrscher was identified to be a man in his 30s living in the slums of the city. Orphaned and probably had a hard life, researchers nowadays in a certain organization specialized in honkai has theorized that his powers may be connected to his knowledge of the things to be created. After all, this man was uneducated and has low comprehension of the physics and subtleties needed to make fusion hydrogen bombs. Nevertheless, this incident called a honkai impact was known to the world immediately.

Thus the UN made an organization called. Fire Moth, a worldwide party of researchers, scientists, governments, military. You name it, if it is related to honkai, they have everything. 1st they have contained the leftover honkai energy that decimated the city, made weapons and advancements to research this corrupting energy. Vowing to know everything about it and making it useful to humanity.

2 decades later, the 2nd appeared in europe.

As the ones who play hi3 know by now, we are in the Previous era. dun dun dun

for the ones who are not knowledgeable about honkai, the Previous era is a super high tech world 50k years ago before the canon starts. Meaning I will be limit testing my story creation faculties to make good characters with only basic information at hand.
