Chapter 140: Down Bad

The class was skeptical to read Ein's book that had a little Benares on it with Sirin. But when they read it. Everyone was silent as they understood more about the topic as if it was simple as they compared it to their textbooks.

And they didn't notice the time as they were entranced by his teaching. His charisma and pleasant to look at face having their undivided attention.

"Okay, you guys should be prepared for at least the pre-terms already. Pretty good progress if I do say so myself. College is some shitty memorization game after all, so if you understand the basics and have a strong foundation. You will know everything." He ended the class and everyone silently agreed that every student that needed to undergo the subject at hand should go to his classes even once.

"Dismissed, I'll see you next week and I'm expecting you to read the entire book. I have already created a test that is suitable for this university's standards and you will see how easy things should be in Caltech. And if you pass, then you could do everything you want until the real exams start." Everybody cheered and they thought he was cool as fuck.

The subjects he was going to teach was the hardest by far and they thought it was a godsend that he was their teacher. A student then got a little bold and asked him a question.

"Professor! Are you single?" She asked the million dollar question and he smirked. "What do you think? That's the wrong thing to ask, it should be. Are you free later? you have to step up your game." He shot her down and she deflated as the class laughed.

Everybody then left except for the redhead as she thought that he was an exceptional teacher. She graduated in highschool with honors as an Egregia Cum Laude. But he could make anyone like her with just a little time.

"Umm, Dr. Ein. Do you have any more textbooks that I could use? I just think that yours are much more comprehensive and concise than current ones." She asked shyly as it was a shameless request, basically asking for a free lesson.

"Ahh, you're one of those diligent types. Well, I'll give you a lesson for this as well then. What would I get for this exchange? I've done my duties exceptionally well I believe. So? What would it be Himeko?" He asked and she was stumped. But she was determined to be the best, dreaming to be in Aesir. More specifically, Spiral workshop or its new name Helixcraft.

"Well, what do you want professor? You have something I need and want, so you can ask for whatever." She said fearlessly as she was a bit reckless and impulsive.

He sighed and thought she didn't think things through. "That's not how this works Himeko. You pitch an offer to me and I will deem if it is sufficient or not." He massaged his temples and she got embarrassed.

"Uhh, well. How about I cook you dinner!? Not to brag, but my dad says it's the best in the world." She puffed up her chest and he thought if she could cook, unlike HIMEKO that would make a disaster every time.

"You got my attention, I'll pay upfront then." He gave her the quantum physics for dummies vol. 1 and she eyed the title skeptically. But she was already proven wrong earlier so she took it and smiled. "I'll see you next week then! I'll be giving my side of the deal later. Thanks Dr. Ein!" She then left in a hurry for her next class as he sighed heavily.

"This will be a pain in the ass. I'm having a bias." He gave in too quickly and thought that was bad.

Meanwhile, Himeko contacted her dad immediately to inform him of her 1st day of classes. As she was a bit of a daddy's girl. Being raised by him all alone when her mother died when she was still young. "Hey dad, listen. My professor on the hardest classes of my course is super awesome. I'll be a top class scientist in no time! His name is Einheri, now that I think about it. He didn't give out his surname." She talked excitedly and her father Ryusuke, that was a scientist in Schicksal could've sworn he heard that name before.

"Honey, can you tell me how he looks? I'm pretty sure I know him." He didn't know any Einheri except the imperator and if that is him. Then he was insanely jealous of his daughter.

"Umu, he has long silver hair and piercing green eyes. About 2 meters tall, he was huge. And he is insanely good looking, I didn't know people could look that good. He for sure has better hair than anyone I know." She hit all the points and his suspicions were correct.

"Damn, your professor is Einheri Aesir honey. Your dream is just right in front of you, he owns Helixcraft and Dr. Vill-v, your idol works for him." He gave her a stunning revelation and Himeko almost blacked out from his words.

"Say what?" She went silent for a few seconds and had a mental block.

"Are you for real!? You're not lying are you dad!? Because if you are, then I won't talk to you until you're senile!" She screamed and her father almost went deaf.

"Geez! Calm down, yes. He is, even here in Schicksal, he is legendary with his entourage. You better give a good impression, you have an opportunity that would make tons people kill for. Even I'm jealous damnit, can you get his autograph for me or something?" He asked for one as it would surely be insanely valuable.

"No way! You get it yourself, I already asked him for one of his books... Oh my god, I'm going to pay for it with my cooking. I need to think of the best thing I can make! Bye daddy, I love you!" She immediately cut the call and was agonizing on what she should make.

But she was stumped and she couldn't think of anything. As she stressed on it for the whole day. "No, simple is better. Good, old fashioned curry that has been perfected is my best bet. And it will be the best damned curry he has ever had!" She fist pumped and went to the store to buy ingredients. Practicing her skills to make a good impression.

The next week, after classes. Himeko stayed behind and went up to him. "Huhun~ I'm going to blow you away with this professor!" She took out a thermos and a lunchbox filled with rice.

"Huh, a dish with a sauce or soup. Okay? Well, it should be good if you said it would blow me away." He crossed his arms and thought that at least the rice wasn't burnt. That was a good sign.

"Of course, I've perfected this dish over the course of the week! You'll see." She opened the lid of the thermos and put the contents on the rice and Ein's sensitive sense of smell was hit immediately by tons of spice.

"Sure..." He then received a spoon from her and he unceremoniously tried. As she looked at him like a hawk to get his reaction.

It was like eating pieces of ghost peppers and it killed the dish's flavors. Though with him separating the capsaicin and letting the natural flavors shine with just the nice kick. It was pretty good.

"So? So? It's the best curry you've had right?" She was confident and thought he was speechless because he didn't react.

"This is terrible Himeko. It's too spicy and you're killing the taste of the other ingredients. Normal people would be in pain if they eat this." He gave his honest opinion and she was shocked.

"Wh-what!? But daddy says it's the best in the world... And I made it even better." She was bamboozled and it honestly made her feel bad.

"Well, your dad is a liar. Now you know. And I am certified to give michelin stars to any food establishment I go. They're special as well, only a select handful has ever received them. So it's not a me problem." He shrugged and she squinted her eyes.

"You're going to regret lying to me dad..." She planned on increasing the spice multiple times when she gets the chance to cook for him again.

"Hah, don't feel too bad. Every skill is a work in progress. There's a kitchen here where we can practice. I'll teach you so you won't burn someone's tongue off." He gestured for her to follow him and she got excited. As Aesir's food industry were top notch. Even their mass produced stuff are used for top end restaurants. And their restaurants must have god like food.

They entered the kitchen like he owned the place and the staff didn't bother him. As he showed them that he indeed owned the place with his inhuman skills.

"Okay, we've got all the ingredients we need here. How about you show me how you make it? Maybe you don't taste it 1st." He was diagnosing the problem and Himeko pouted at him.

"I taste it of course. But I honestly don't notice if it's too spicy. I even made it milder for you in my opinion." She really was sure it would be perfect for him.

'So it's a problem with her taste buds. I don't know about this, but people in these worlds sometimes have weird quirks for sure.' He remembered that Cecilia liked Siegfried's cooking and he could only call it terrible as hell. Edible, but terrible.

"Go on then, show me how you do it so we can make you better." He gestured for her to start and she nodded with determination.

She then made it exactly how she made it earlier as he told her not to change anything. And when she was done, he noticed that she did not do any measurements and catered the tastes to her own which was the root of the problem.

"Okay, let me stop you there. How about I give you a dish that is at least that spicy. But still very good?" He rolled his sleeves and she thought it was sexy as hell.

She gained her wits and shook her head. She nodded and he started cooking a delectable mapo tofu.

She was amazed by his speed and thought he must be at the top of professionals. Working with immense heat and not measuring ingredients as he has done it for millions of times already.

"Here, I made it even spicier than yours. But it will still preserve the flavors." He gave her a mapo tofu that looked evil as it was really red. But it had a nice aroma that she couldn't resist as she ate a spoonful quickly with some rice.

Her eyes dilated as her tongue felt numb. And she felt like she was getting hugged by warm and soft tofu. And slathered by the hot sauce like she was in a hot spring.

He tapped her face as she was high as a kite and was drooling while staring at empty space.

"Wh-wha? This is dangerous, you could probably kill people with this as some of them would never go back from that." She ate another spoonful and was prepared for it, so she didn't space out. And she gotta agree that it was spicy even for her. But it's the best god damned thing she tasted.

"Okay, because you passed your test with a hundred percent. I'll let you off the hook with your subpar curry. And I will teach you how to make spicy food as the best in the world." He reached out to pat her head. But he refrained.

He then taught her how to make the relatively simple mapo tofu for now in their free time.

After a few weeks together, they're now practicing the basics as he felt her spicy mapo tofu was acceptable already. He also noticed that she did not have natural honkai resistance and she could still succumb to it. So he altered her genes slowly so she won't get too strong too quickly.

"No, you gotta chop like this so they'll be all equal and cook at the same time." He went behind her and guided her hands to be more efficient, precise, and accurate.

"Oh... O-okay." She stuttered for a bit and got conscious about his large hands guiding her as she got a whiff of a masculine smell that made her a bit dazed.

"You're doing great! Now how about you compare it to mine? It's still not there, but you're a fast learner. Well, you did graduate with highest honors." He was finally relaxed enough around her and he patted her head.

She blushed with the praise, but she also was proud as she puffed up her chest. "Hehe~ I'm going to be the best astrophysicist and engineer. But I'm also going to be one of the best cooks!" She smiled smugly and he chopped her on the head lightly.

"Not if I'm your competition you're not." He laughed and she pouted at him. And she remembered that he was Helixcraft's owner so she took out her laptop that was the top end from Aesir after she asked her dad for it.

"Um, Dr. Ein. Can you sign this for me? I'm just a really big fan you see? And don't worry, I won't tell anyone that you're the owner of Aesir." She excitedly handed out the laptop and he sighed.

"How about I give you something a bit better than that? One moment." He rummaged inside his suit case and pretended to fish something out. She saw him take a sleek piece of metal and signed it. He then gave it to her and she was skeptical of what it was.

"You could've just told me that you didn't want to sign my laptop professor... What the hell is this?" She pointed at the piece of metal with a bit of resentment and he laughed.

"Computer, register handler right now as new user." It then split in half as a hologram display appeared along with a keyboard. The laptop scanned her and she almost dropped it from surprise.

"Wh-what in the world? This is some scifi level type of tech professor! Where did you get this, are you perhaps... An alien!?" Her imagination was getting wild and he had to flick her forehead.

She got a bit teary eyed and rubbed her forehead. "Hehe~ Sorry. But seriously, this is wild. Why haven't you put this out in the market yet? Everybody would go crazy over these." She started fiddling with it and found out she could even make multiple screens as the display multiplied when she touched it and swiped left and right.

"People can't afford that Himeko. And here's a manual, that thing would seriously get you lost. And don't worry about using it in public. It's registered to you and it's bound electromagnetically on you so it won't go anywhere if you don't want to. It also has a defense system if some idiots want to steal it forcefully." He iterated the specs and she held it like it was the most important thing in the world. He did left out that anybody that's recognized as a threat would get fried 10 times over.

"Thanks professor!" She hugged him in delight and she got embarrassed as she froze, not knowing what to do so she just stayed there. She then felt that he was unusually warm and he smelled amazing.

"Hello~ Do you want to let go? I might get arrested you know? Wait for one more year and you can hug me all you want." He teased her and she stumbled on her feet as she separated with a blush on her face.

"Hehe~ I didn't know what got into me. Thanks again though professor. This will be a family heirloom for sure!" She gave a bright smile and he smiled tenderly as he stared at empty space.

"You're welcome. That's your gift for basically being able to pass the term exams okay? No more. That thing's expensive you know?" He chuckled as she snickered. He made the exams harder than what the university would give out and everybody passed of course.

"You're too stingy professor, you're basically swimming in money already. And it's thanks to your magic books, these are amazing. Can I get some more? hehe~" She tried her luck and he thought about it.

"Hmm, maybe if you can make something we haven't practiced and it's acceptable." He smirked and challenged her.

She nodded with enthusiasm and pumped her fist. "Oh yeah! I'll have another book of yours! I'll definitely be the best scientist at this rate. And just you wait, I'll truly defy expectations!" She then gave her address and he raised a brow at the piece of paper.

"Go to my apartment next week at 6 PM professor, I'm having elective classes more so I'll graduate faster. You did tell us that we can do anything we want if we passed your little exam." She smirked and he sighed.

"Okay, okay. You dirty girl you, inviting your professor into your apartment so you'll have extra grades." He laughed and she realized what she did.

"Uhh, gotta go bye!" She left with a massive blush and she even forgot her new laptop. "Hah, I'll just bring this to her next week. Damn, I'm enjoying this too much. Gotta work on the mega structures double time so I can live in peace." He then teleported to the sea of quanta and started placing everything and activated them in low energy mode.

Slowly siphoning the sea of quanta's virtually infinite energy.

"Hah, da Bronya is bored now. New games haven't come out yet and Ein-nii was right. Every person online are noobs." Bronya was at the top of the leaderboards in elo and she felt like she has peaked already. She even managed to defeat the nightmare AI that reacted to almost any attack immediately.

She then heard a knock on her door and it was Cocolia with some gifts. As the gray haired little gamer grew on her.

"Hey Bronya, how are you doing? I got you some more electronics to fiddle with. And they're from Aesir you know?" She gave Bronya a bag of electronics for her to disassemble and assemble again as it was one of her favorite past times.

"Ohhh! Did Ein-nii come with you?" Bronya's eyes shone and she knew that Cocolia had to get her hands on it by requesting some from Ein. As they were all self repairing and all electronics from Aesir when not needed is recycled immediately.

Cocolia felt complicated as she was brushed to the side. Ein then put his hands on Bronya's eyes again and she got excited, not even trying to guess as she knows that he was the only one with hands that huge.

"Ein-nii! Thanks for giving these to Cocolia Matushka. Da Bronya has been bored as da Bronya conquered every noob online already." She hugged his waist and Ein smiled wryly at Cocolia.

"You didn't miss me Bronya? I even had to negotiate for those you know?" Cocolia gave a strained smile and Bronya felt bad that she brushed her aside.

"Un, thanks Cocolia Matushka. Da Bronya really appreciates it." She hugged her too and Cocolia smiled. As she really liked children, remembering her time as an orphan that starved on the streets. That's why she was also fond of Ein, as Aesir has burned trillions of dollars to give orphans a life of middle class families. Warm, happy, and with full stomachs.

"If you've already beat everyone, then I got good news for you. Tadah!" He gave her a copy of RTS games and shooters, a very competitive scene at the top of the leader boards that would make you lose instantly with just one small mistake.

"Ohhhh! Da Bronya would have tons of fun with these. Thank you Matushka, Ein-nii." She hugged them both and Ekaterina entered the room with a sigh.

"Ein-sama, you're giving her games again. She does sleep in time, but she's addicted to those." She was worried that Bronya would become a no good neet and Ein laughed.

"I'm creating an E-sports competitive league. She could shine there you know? Don't worry too much Kat, the world has many things to offer for Bronya to shine in." He gave the revelation and Bronya thought that would be a nice job, playing games and styling on noobs.

"Yeah, Kat. Ein-sama here would just make a job specifically for Bronya like nothing, he's basically drowning in money anyways." Cocolia waved her hands nonchalantly and Kat thought if that was what Bronya wanted, then she would support her.

"Yeah mom, da Bronya would be the best player in the world. There's also Helixcraft, da Bronya is interested in it too." She was excited and thought about her future.

"That's still a long time ahead honey. Don't worry about it too much okay?" Kat hugged her and thought that Bronya would have a bright future thanks to Aesir.

"How about we have your mom play too Bronya? And you too Cocolia, let's play together." He squinted his eyes at them and they didn't even thought of rejecting. Bronya then got insanely happy and thought she could teach her mom and Matushka the ways of gaming.

"Wait one moment okay, I'll introduce you to a friend too." He went out of the room and teleported Sirin and Bella with him so they could spend some time with another kid. As Sirin did not know any modern ways to have fun with others and she was also a blooming gamer with Bella.

"Dad, why did you take us here? I was going to style on noobs in counter you know?" She was a bit annoyed and Bella nodded.

"Yes Ein-sama. We would be in a duo queue to destroy insects." She still talked a bit weirdly, but she was blending in just fine.

"Well, we'll have a counter strike party in LAN. I think you'll have a match, Bronya is pretty strong you know?" He entered the room with them and Bronya stared at Sirin with slight animosity as she saw her cling to Ein.

"Ein-nii, da Bronya wants to know who is she?" Her voice a bit lower as she didn't like how Sirin clinged onto him.

"Ahhh, this is my adopted daughter Sirin. She's also a gamer with her friend here. And she's currently in the top of the leaderboards in those games." He introduced them and Sirin smirked at Bronya, igniting her competitive spirit.

"Hello, Bronya. You're pretty small, are you sure you could beat me?" She noticed that the kid was looking at her with jealousy and she also wanted to prove she was the best.

"Da Bronya won't lose. You will be another noob that would bolster my kda." Bronya bluntly said and they went on a standoff.

Cocolia and Kat smiled wryly and Ein patted their heads. "Okay, let's start!" Ein went on a team with Cocolia and Ekaterina while Bella just watched on for now while they entered a match for 3 teams. Bronya and Sirin were alone. But they unanimously agreed that they would have a 1v1.

Bronya fumbled at 1st and Sirin gave a smug smirk at her while Ein taught Cocolia and Kat how to play the game like a pro. "Hehe, it seems dad was wrong. You're just a newb."

But Bronya started to catch up as her pliable brain quickly got the mechanics and now, they were equal in score. Absolutely sweating to win like tryhards.

And when the point match started, Ein deemed Ekaterina and Cocolia to be good enough and sicced them on the two. With Kat's superhuman reflexes and Cocolia that could pass for the special forces with flying colors. They destroyed the two and Ein's team won the match.

Bronya and Sirin were dumbfounded and the two women high fived with Ein as they hugged each other like it was a great feat.

"Hehe, it seems I still got it." Cocolia gave off smug energy and Ekaterina smiled at Bronya, thinking that she would be able to bond more with her daughter.

"I need to go guys. How about you play 3on3? Add an AI to your team Sirin. They'll play based on how the enemy team plays, have fun alright?" He dipped as Bronya and Sirin eyed each other. Wanting to win over the other to establish dominance.

"Sirin, you do know she's 3 years old right?" Bella thought her friend was getting too into it.

"Shut up Bella! She wants to steal dad from me, I know it." Sirin replied as she could see the desire in Bronya's eyes to have him for herself. They then started a sweaty LAN match for supremacy that ended in Sirin and co's win. As Ekaterina and Cocolia played video games for the 1st time and they didn't have Ein as a coach. But it was close as hell, though Sirin knew it so she didn't accept the win. Still having sportsmanship that will bloom to be a beautiful friendship.

Ein was currently in casual clothes and knocked at an apartment. Exactly at 6:00PM, the door then opened after a bit of time and Himeko was in shorts and a sleeveless shirt. Showcasing her voluptuous body as she ushered him in.

"Hehe~ I've outdone myself this time Dr. Ein! I've made a full english breakfast from scratch!" She was proud of it and Ein looked at her with a sigh.

"Shouldn't it be dinner Himeko?" He thought that it was the wrong thing for dinner. But it was fine.

"Ahh, I wanted to try a little bit of everything you see? And I think I should go beyond my comfort zone to make it. I also thought you'd like it as you are from Europe, right?" She thought it was closer to home for him and he didn't reply.

He thought of the 1st thing he ever made and it was a full english breakfast for Elysia, Kevin, and HIMEKO. "Why yes, it would be right up my alley. And as you can see, I require more food as I don't get full on normal meals. So this is perfect, good job." He patted her head and she puffed her chest in pride.

They then went to the table and Ein tried her cooking. She waited with bated breath and he was silent to give suspense.

"So? How is it? Why aren't you saying anything? You're going to drive me crazy!" She waited in anticipation and Ein gave a thumbs up.

"Well, you've really improved Hime. This is good." He enjoyed it and gave her a nickname that made her freeze for a moment.

"Is that so? Then... I'm glad." She beamed at him and she watched him eat with a happy smile as her legs went back and forth.

"Hey, can I call you Ein when we aren't at school? You did give me a nickname. So it's only fair." She waited with bated breath as she fiddled with her fingers.

"Sure, you're really trying to seduce me aren't you~" He teased her and she choked on her saliva.

"Wh- don't be ridiculous Ein! I'd say you're preying on a defenseless minor like me too! Being all cool and guiding my hands when you were teaching me, that's lewd." She whispered the last sentence and didn't know he heard it.

He laughed and bopped her on the nose. "By the way, do you have any hobbies?" She asked and was curious on what the owner of Aesir does for fun.

"Well, I play music and compose. Eden is my partner too, don't you know? And obviously, I cook. I also teach just for fun." He replied and Himeko was surprised.

"The voice of heaven? Eden!? I know her too, you have duets with her?" She wasn't a big music fan, but even she knew Eden.

"Well, yeah. I compose our music, but she does too. How about you?" He popped a piece of toast in his mouth and asked.

"Well, this might be childish. But I want to find aliens, that's also the reason why I entered this course. So I can travel to the stars and find some aliens." She scratched her head and gave a wry smile.

He was amused and thought it was a pretty ambitious dream. But she would be disappointed as alien life forms existed at other bubble universes and she would have to travel in the sea of quanta to see them, besides the honkai of course.

"Just keep on it. I think it's an ambitious dream. You might just see an alien you know? I might be one, you never know." He flashed his reptilian eyes for a split second and she thought she was hallucinating.

"Wait, do that again! I'm not crazy. I saw that!" She immediately went up to him and he stood up and sat on the sofa. "Do what? I don't understand." He smirked and she pouted at him.

She went up to him more closely as she won't let this pass. "The thing with your eyes! I know that wasn't a fluke! You're suspicious, are you one of the lizard people that copies others! I need answers!" She was insistent and he sighed. Not thinking that she would be so stubborn.

And as she was shaking him, she stepped on his foot and tripped over him. Squishing herself on him as her mind blanked.

"You're really trying to seduce me aren't you? I already told you, wait for your 18th birthday, I don't want to go to jail." He snickered and she awkwardly went off on him and sat beside him.

"Hmph, you're the one seducing me here. You probably tripped me." She rationalized as she felt his rock hard chest and smelled his intoxicating masculine fragrance. As her teenage hormones acted up.

He patted her head and gave her another volume of Quantum physics for dummies. "Thanks for the dinner Hime. Your effort was appreciated, I need to leave now. As you know, I'm a busy man." He then packed up his things and gave her forgotten laptop as he exited her apartment.

"Hmph, bad man... Wait, he forgot his jacket." She went outside and looked for him, but he was already gone.

She then went back to her apartment and put the jacket on her table at her room. "This... This isn't illegal right? He left it here and I could do whatever I want right?" Himeko grabbed his jacket with trembling hands and gave it a sniff.

"Hnn, why is it so damned addicting?" She then remembered his abnormally warm body and got bothered.

She gained her wits though and stopped immediately. "Until I'm 18 huh? I don't know if I can wait that long... Bad man, making me all bothered. Damned hormones! Why is he so hot and cool!" She buried her face on her pillow and tried to sleep. But she couldn't get a wink of it and decided to read the next volume of his book.
