Chapter 127: 2nd Eruption

Einstein was investigating the honkai residue at the reactor room. "Dr. Einstein, how about it? Find anything new?" She was asked if there are clues about their suspicion of a herrscher by Siegfried.

"No. There's no one here that could reach the critical threshold of honkai energy that would belong to a herrscher." Einstein looked around and thought the 2nd has already fled the tower.

"Wait! I don't see a purple haired girl. She disappeared, and she kind of acted weirdly." Theresa remembered Sirin who didn't really look happy that she was saved from the babylon towers like the other kids.

"Welt, can you try and locate the herrscher for us?" Lieserl looked at Joachim and he nodded. Crossing his arms as he tried finding the culprit. But he didn't sense any being that had a lot of honkai energy.

"Nothing, I could sense honkai from multiple kilometers away. But there's nothing on my radar." He frowned, thinking that the runaway herrscher would surely go crazy on the cities. But he was thankful that they were in Siberia which doesn't really have much people.

"This area is littered with honkai residue. Spatial rifts as well." Einstein observed the reactor room much closer. And with one of her devices, that she developed with Erwin and Emma upon reading the powers of the 2nd. She found out that she already escaped using spatial rifts.

"What's a spatial rift?" The Kaslana asked, as he did not understand of course. "In layman's term. Teleportation, the 2nd has escaped far enough that Welt cannot locate her." She said with her cool and calm face.

"Then... We won't be able to find her? She would surely ravage cities if we let her be." Theresa got nervous. Especially for Kiana, as the little kid was still too young.

"That's where our back up comes in Theresa." Einstein took out a vial filled with the honkai residue in the area. "Please lend Oath of Judah to me. According to some texts we have unearthed, we can use it as a locator." She gestured for Theresa to hand her weapon over like a thug.

"Huh? But Judah won't be able to do that. It doesn't work like that." Theresa was skeptical, as she knew that it only neutralized honkai energy with extreme efficiency. Almost killing her as she practiced using the 0th power of it at Tilie's behest.

Lieserl got annoyed and narrowed her eyes at Theresa. Thinking that the legal loli only used it to chain down enemies or skewer them with the javelins it has inside. "Hand it over, divine keys could actually obey the user. As this is due to their unique property of being nano bots that have congregated to be a piece of metal. With its own programming that could be affected by the user's honkai energy and will."

Einstein revealed, surprising Theresa and Siegfried. Lieserl then nodded in satisfaction when Theresa handed over Judah. As she studied Soulium for a long time. Trying to understand Ein's creation that is simply, magic.

"Okay... Then what do I do next?" Theresa saw Einstein pour the residue on the golden cross and it glowed. "Imagine the purple haired girl, it also helps if you can memorize the honkai energy from the residue she left when she used her powers." Lieserl expected Theresa to do that at least. As she was an S-rank valkyrie, and they do not become one just with their pure strength.

Theresa then focused. And the golden cross grew brighter and brighter. It then became smaller and the chains went to cardinal directions. Pointing at places while the cross attached itself to her hand. One of the chains then vibrated as Theresa imagined honkai energy from the residue.

"She's over there. I can feel it too, Judah is telling me to come there." Theresa had a pull on her self from the cross on her hand.

Siegfried then received an emergency call. "Master Siegfried, we have another code red. A horde of honkai beasts appeared again and they are estimated to number in the 300's." The caller said with urgency.

"Tch, come on squad. Let's hold them off while Theresa and the others find the herrscher." Siegfried ordered, but Joachim intervened.

"Siegfried, it's just another distraction from the main objective. Eyes on the prize, we will go with Theresa to intercept the herrscher. Einstein, go with snowwolf and protect the tower with them." Joachim gave orders and squad snowwolf agreed. As it was a low level bait.

"I guess you're right... If she could also open spatial rifts, then Salome and Shub won't be much help." Sieg frowned as Joachim nodded. "Let's go. We've got some pests to take care of. You guys don't want anyone from Odin and friends to come here, trust me. You will die from their massive collateral damage."

Einstein remembered how their squad fights in a no bars held battle. And even seeing the loli Griseo unleash armies, artillery, and firepower that could erase a city with just one shell. She didn't even want to think of them trying to kill something seriously.

"Hmmm? A herrscher is born... And what's this?" Ein frowned when he felt a familiar presence that was influencing the new herrscher that is just a kid.

"The will of the honkai is trying to give her more hatred... Tch, fucking asshole. Can't even do their own work while I do this shit almost 24/7." He grumbled and put down another megastructure in the abyss of the sea of quanta.

"I should interfere. Mess up its plans just to fuck with them, yes..." He started to think of getting the herrscher core inside of the 2nd. As the will of the honkai could not interfere with him directly again, unlike when he was trapped inside the imaginary space against his will.

"But that's too easy. I did train people to handle these kinds of threats. I should let Adelheid take care of this. Then, when the will thinks they're about to win... I'll swoop in and let them taste despair. hehe... HAHAHAHA!" He laughed like a maniac and thought of the will's reaction when all the hard work it will put in on this honkai eruption all goes up in smoke.

"That'd teach that bastard not to mess with me again." He then got back to the surface and told everyone to prepare for a worldwide operation. Calling a code Alpha, surprising everyone. As this is the 1st time they would be going for a mission that would influence the world directly.

"Yes... Sirin, tear it all apart. The fragile fabric of space around you. Command the powers of the void... And tear their dark evil hearts, beating from their chests." The will of the honkai whispered to Sirin.

She smiled confidently and started her ascendance to a true herrscher. Gaining virtually infinite honkai energy from the imaginary space. And she was the most attuned herrscher to date. Completely forsaking humanity, intent on exterminating them herself. Even without a herrscher persona.

"I refuse to be weak. I will not be stepped on anymore. Schicksal will fall before me, and I would kill every single adult in this wretched world!" She smiled sadistically as she clenched her hands, feeling the awesome power she received from her goddess.

Meanwhile, at Schicksal HQ. Cecilia just finished shopping. She then received a call from Siegfried, saying that he couldn't come home as the mission he was on with Theresa was a real drag.

She then thought of making a feast for Theresa and Siegfried when they come home. But she saw a kid that suspiciously looks like the overseer.

"Hmm, who's that kid? I better take her home. She would be the perfect playmate for Kiana." Cecilia giggled and thought Kiana would have a nice playmate.

"Hey, are you lost? I'll take you to my house. Goodness me, your clothes are also too big for you. Come on, let's go." Cecilia talked to the kid and didn't entertain any rebuttals. Immediately pulling her home without even a single word from her.

'Ugh, damn it all. This is what I get for acting all cool and entering the numbers without looking.' Tilie grumbled inside her mind as she finally used one of her Soulium avatars, but a little mishap happened and she turned into a kid. And as great an inventor and genius she were. Soulium was out of her league, now she is stuck as a kid.

'Damn you Siegfried Kaslana. What in the world is wrong with your kid?' She was now being beaten up by the young Kiana who was pulling on her hair. "Giddy up! Hahahaha!" Kiana pulled as she laughed, pretending Tilie was a horse. (pic here)

'I can't explain why that little girl is here in this place. As it is a military base containing numerous secrets and weapons. But at least Kiana likes her, so she could stay.' Cecilia smiled as she looked at Kiana play with the young Tilie.

"Everyone, we are all here right now as we have a code Alpha. This means that Aesir will finally interfere directly." MEI announced as everyone listened excitedly. They were finally going to do something drastic.

"Hoh? Is this about that herrscher in Siberia? I can feel the honkai energy there. It's nice and thick, having tons of honkai beasts. I can't wait to tear the 2nd herrscher limb from limb." Kalpas cracked his neck and released superheated steam from his mouth.

MEI raised a brow, she then showed them what the 2nd looks like and Kalpas immediately lost his enthusiasm. As the 2nd was a little girl. Still having traces of her mother's milk on her.

"Tch... Damn it." He was now in a bad mood and Eden smiled wryly. "You won't able to tear the herrscher apart anyway Kalpas. Our orders from Ein is to prevent casualties as much as possible. And gather at Siberia for the final battle." She explained while drinking some wine.

"Thank you Eden. And as I was saying, we will interfere directly by eliminating any threat that comes out of Siberia. Tear them apart, leave nothing alive." MEI relayed orders and the numerous amounts of Aesir personnel started making a perimeter around Siberia. Isolating it and killing anything that tried coming out of the place.

"Hmmm, such a shame. I really would like to have a herrscher on my operating table, knowing their secrets is different from seeing it personally." Mobius lost the green glow on her scales, as she prepared to fight tooth and nail against Kalpas to get the herrscher as a lab rat.

"Okay~ we have our placements and orders everyone. Let's give a spectacular performance for our 1st ever joint mission again!" Elysia was excited that they will be together again as the flame chasers. But they were now guaranteed victory.

"Troublesome, MEI. Can't we just stay home and eat some noodles or something?" Kevin asked, making MEI narrow her eyes at him. Kevin was now more relaxed than ever, as he wasn't the leader of the flame chasers that have to lead them to victory no matter the cost.

"You just want to try and make kids with MEI. Shut up and work Kevin... Or I will make you." Vill-v growled at him, more specifically. Kevin killer mk.5.

"Kevin's right nya~ we should just relax you know? We could just let our respective departments do the work. There are millions of them and every single one of them could kill emperor class honkai beasts with their bare fists." Phyllis yawned and wanted to relax as always. Especially if money isn't involved.

"It seems you are needing some discipline Phyllis... SAKURA. Hold her down." Aponia spoke and the pinkette was about to stand up.

"Noo! Forgive me nya! I will work, I promise!" Phyllis immediately did a splendid dogeza while shivering in fear. "That's what I thought, you've been relaxing for centuries Phyllis. Well, our training is much harder than this anyway. Isn't this considered relaxing?" SAKURA asked, making Kevin and Phyllis agree.

Theresa, along with Siegfried and Joachim found a huge sphere of honkai material. "Judah is pointing this way, but what is this? Is the girl inside this thing?" Theresa looked at the sphere with curiosity.

She then walked up to it and touched the surface. It rippled and Theresa wondered what it is. "It's flowing like water." She was about to put her whole arm in, but Joachim shouted.

"That's a honkai Chrysalis Theresa, get away from there immediately! It just emitted a powerful spike of honkai energy!" She stopped and looked at Joachim, thinking he was quite mean and twitchy.

"Alright, alright. Sheesh, I'm going to back off n-" Before she could finish her words. An ethereal arm appeared from the sphere and pulled in Theresa immediately.

"Theresa! Wait for me! I'll help you!" Siegfried started running, but Joachim stopped him in his tracks. "Siegfried! Stop, we don't know what we're dealing with. Going in unprepared will likely get us killed." He thought that he was being too irrational.

"What the hell are you talking about! I'm a Kaslana, and we don't leave our friends that are in danger. Even if I'm alone, I'll save Theresa." Siegfried rebutted, offended that Joachim would even suggest waiting before they went in.

'I'm running out of face palms. How can I slap some sense into this fool.' Joachim remembered the Kaslana oath and their massive cons. With every single one of them having a hard, hero complex boner.

"I'll be entering by myself, I don't care if you come or not!" Siegfried touched the sphere while looking at Joachim, but what he didn't notice that the surface of it turned solid.

"Uh oh." The sphere gained two eyes and it cracked. Suddenly turning into a honkai beast that had enough energy to be upper class emperor level beast. (pic here, fusion of son of dawn and darkness.)

The beast roared and tried squishing Siegfried between its large hands. "Fucking hell! This will be a fiesta!" Siegfried and Joachim prepared for a battle.

Meanwhile, Theresa was seeing the memories of Sirin. As she seemingly got pulled in a body of water. Theresa then heard the voice of a person.

"Your parents are dead. Killed by a disease, called the honkai." She saw children that were being poached by Schicksal.

"Have no fear, Schicksal takes care of orphans like you. You are special because you have a natural resistance against honkai. So we will run a couple of tests to help humanity's survival." The scientists tricked the kids and Theresa saw one of them injecting the purple haired one with a syringe of concentrated honkai energy.

"No! Stop!" Theresa knew what will happen, but they disappeared. And she was now in the babylon labs. Behind her, Theresa heard blood curdling screams.

"IT BURNS! MY INSIDES FEEL LIKE THEY ARE BURNING! Please! Make it stop I beg of you! This pain is killing me! Just make it stop. please!" Sirin writhed on the ground, in immense pain like being burned alive. But with no respite such as death.

"This test subject is as useless as the others, dispose of it once it dies of the after effects." The lead scientist said with disdain.

Theresa was shown another place again. At the cold tundra in Siberia, the purple haired girl stood over 3 graves. "Avrora, Agatha, Bella. Let's sing that song that we always sing one more time okay?" She looked at the graves with anguish.

"Hey! It's time to leave! We have more tests scheduled for you. You hear me girl? Don't waste my time with those useless pieces of garbage! Now turn around and go back to the lab!" The scientists gave her time to dispose of the failed test subjects.

Theresa then went up to her and hugged her. "I'm so sorry..." She apologized, but it was already too late. As Sirin opened another spatial rift and floated above Theresa. Finally completing her connection with the imaginary space with some help from her goddess.

"They didn't even let me sing to my friends. I cannot forgive them for what they did to us. Do you hear that? Their souls cry out for vengeance! I'll make sure I will kill every single person that bears the mark of Schicksal..." Sirin said, announcing the advent of the 2nd herrscher to the world.
