134 Chapter 112: North American Branch

After cleaning up, Ein and Vill were now ready to go with everyone in visiting Schrodinger. They entered Emma's lounge and the atmosphere was awkward as expected.

"The loli scientist brigade I can understand, but Emma. Don't tell me you haven't seen a single porno in your life?" Ein asked the blushing Planck and she nodded shyly.

"Un, you know I'm busy and my profession doesn't really allow me to explore that Ein!" She shouted as she narrowed her eyes at him.

"Couldn't you guys ummm, I don't know. Do it somewhere else? And why is the door unlocked anyway, what if someone else opened it?" Lieserl awkwardly said, Nancy and Tesla nodded at her as they thought that was a good question.

"Well, my door only ever opens for a select few. So I never lock any, and for your 1st question. Why not? Vill wanted it, I wanted it, we weren't in public, I don't see a problem there Lieserl." He pointed out. And the accidental voyeurs thought he had a point.

"Enough of that Ein, let's go visit Schrodinger. We have plenty of time to teach them sex education later." Vill-v pulled him to end the conversation and the 4 perked up at her last sentence.

They then entered a car and quickly arrived at a hospital of Su's. "Here we are girls, let's meet up with Schrodinger. She's quite lonely I would imagine." Ein lead the way and everybody nodded.

After walking for a few minutes, they finally arrived at Schrodinger's room and Ein opened the door with her friends in tow. "Yo dayo~ How are you Erwin? You're in the hospital because you killed that cat inside a box." He patted her head and Schrodinger pouted at him.

She published that thought experiment, calling it Aesir and Schrodinger's cat. "Thank you for visiting with the others Ein-nii. It's most appreciated." She cracked a small smile and her friends put their gifts for her.

Emma gave her a black cat plushie. Lieserl gave her a copy of her nearly finished paper of the theory of general relativity. Tesla was a little robot that acted as an alarm and reminded you of your to do list. While Edison gave her a wad of cash, unable to prepare one quickly. Vill-v took out a pair of smart glasses. And lastly, Ein gave her a cap with a cat motif. (pic here)

"Thanks everyone, but the wad of cash was unnecessary Nancy." Schrodinger deadpanned at Edison as the young scion scratched her head.

They then informed her of the happenings in Princeton, which wasn't much really. And after an hour, everybody returned back to the university to enrol Nancy. Though Ein stayed to talk with Schrodinger.

"So Reanna, you've been here a couple of days. And you know I own this hospital, they said you have multiple sclerosis." He held her on the shoulder and she nodded while staring at the window.

"Umu, it seems I do. And I probably won't live past 30. But it was already a good life, I'm even a world renowned scientist now. It's honestly a fulfilling life that I lived." She smiled and thought about the squad that was there for her.

"I see, but tell me. It doesn't feel good knowing leaving them all behind that early right?" He said to her and Schrodinger bit her lip. "What can I do? Tell them I'm terminally ill, and then what? They'll waste all of their potential and findings to cater to me. I'd rather die earlier than to take that away from them." She started tearing up and Ein smiled at her.

"That's what I want to hear. You know, Vill-v isn't just the magician in our group." He poked her forehead and repaired her damaged nerves. He also changed how her immune system works so they won't attack her body.

"There, you're all fine and dandy now." He smiled and Schrodinger chuckled at him. "Thank you Ein-nii... But I'm not a little kid that believes in magic anymore." She didn't know that she was healed already as her symptoms weren't that severe yet.

"Don't believe me? You were having vision problems and numbness right? Can you feel it now Krabs?" He pinched her cheek and she tried looking at some text on the wall with her glasses. It was surely clearer and she patted her body for the numbness.

"Ein-nii... Are you for real? What did you do? Is that even scientifically possible? I need answers." She narrowed her eyes at him and he laughed.

"Hmm, that's a secret~ you better not tell the others or you will be subject to some discipline." He patted her head and Schrodinger felt that she was in danger when he said that.

"O-okay... I won't tell anybody. But you have to explain to me what happened okay? I'll go crazy if you don't." She eyed him like a hawk and was obviously not going to take no for an answer.

"Sheesh, fine. I'll let you know, but do treasure your friends okay? The loli scientist brigade will be incomplete without you after all." He patted her head and Schrodinger nodded with a bright smile.

"Un, thanks Ein-nii... For a chance at life, for teaching us, for supporting us. For everything." She hugged him tightly and nuzzled her head on his chest.

Ein patted her back and caressed it. "You're welcome baby girl. You'll have to be one of the greatest scientists okay? Don't settle for less, or I'll be greatly disappointed." Schrodinger nodded, happy that she would be able to continue unraveling the mysteries of the universe. And now, his mysteriousness too.

"But I want you to wear the cap pronto, that's your hospital bill." He made her wear the cap and took photos of her. She embarrassedly put it on, but thought that it was a treasure that she'll get used to wearing in time.

After a few more check ups, Schrodinger was finally discharged out of the hospital and she actually made it to the party that they hosted for Nancy making it inside Princeton.

Carl Gustav also came, he visited Lieserl and Emma frequently and they would tell stories, enjoy music, eat Ein's cooking. He was relieved that Lieserl had friends, but it was certainly surprising that her group's name is loli scientist brigade.

And now, it was a double celebration with Schrodinger's full recovery. "Hi everybody, did you miss me?" She joked, then her friends cheered that her health was good enough to be discharged.

"Are you okay now Erwin? You sure?" Emma asked worriedly, but her student just nodded and looked at Ein with gratitude. "Umu, I am fine and dandy Emma-nee." She cracked a smile. Schrodinger thought her life would be confined in a hospital and words couldn't explain her gratitude to him. As her disease would take away her mental faculties in time and as a scientist, that fate is worse than death.

"Yeah, you good? You could've just stayed for a few more days or something to get yourself checked, not that I don't like you to be here." Tesla shyly said with a blush.

"It's good to have you back Erwin, have you read my theory? I'll be able to complete it soon, just you watch. I will win a nobel prize even grander than everyone else." She said to her friends.

As they already have one, even Ein's book that he wrote on the spot received multiple of them, namely physics, chemistry, and literature.

"I'm sure you will Lieserl, But I do have something to say to you. I will be returning to Germany." Carl said with a wry smile to Lieserl.

"What? You're leaving just like that?" Einstein was surprised and it was so sudden. Emma's cousin introduced Lieserl to Planck after all. And without him, she would have been back in Switzerland and living a boring life. Being taken to psychologists again and again for being anti-social. And it made her feel complicated that he was going.

"Yes, I have work to do in Germany. And I've been here for far too long, I need to return home Lieserl. I know Emma would take care of you, Ein as well. And I'm glad you have friends now." He smiled as Lieserl nodded solemnly.

"That's how it is Lieserl. A man's gotta do what he's gotta do. Work is a guy's lifeblood, it makes them have purpose. Or they will feel down and anxious if they're unemployed. He will contact you often, don't worry." Ein took out a phone and gave it to Carl so they would be able to reach out to each other even when he was in Germany.

"Umu... It's just very sudden, but I understand. I would leave too if I had work to do." She thought it was natural that an adult like him would have responsibilities that she didn't.

"That's my girl. Cheer up, this will be a farewell party for Carl too. Goodbyes don't need to be sad Lieserl." He smiled and patted her head.

They partied and even Emma got a bit drunk. Thankfully, she was a merry drunk, everybody then went for a stroll and arrived at the park. And there were already pre prepared instruments for them to play.

The group started playing and for the last song, they played Danny Boy. And Carl said his goodbyes to everyone, returning to Germany early in the morning.

The teens then got tired and went back to their rooms to sleep. "Hey Ein. Thanks for curing Erwin, such a great mind would be lost forever if it wasn't for you." Emma sat down on a bench and thanked him with a smile.

"Hmm~ whatever do you mean?" He feigned ignorance and sat down with her. "She had signs of multiple sclerosis Ein. I knew she was terminally ill, I might be a physicist. But I researched about it and she ticked all the symptoms perfectly." Emma sighed and thought her cute student went through a lot. Worst of all, she couldn't do anything to help her with it.

"I guess the secret's out huh? Well, it was pretty easy to cure. And I had compensation of course." He whipped out Schrodinger's pictures with the cap on and Emma chuckled.

"You really took pictures of her wearing that? I mean it's cute, but I do see Erwin not caring about wearing it." Emma knew she was a bit emotionally blunt and apathetic, unless you messed with her pursuit of science.

"She's looks cute right?" He laughed and Emma chuckled at his antics. She then sighed and thought they would inevitably leave her side to reach their dreams.

"Why the long face?" He patted her head and she looked at the night sky. "They grow up so fast... And after a few more years, they will finally leave like little birds that have grown up splendidly to leave their mark in history." She went melancholic at the thought.

He gave her a hug and patted her head. "Don't worry Emma, they'll call. And that's just how the world works, your students won't forget to look back and reminisce. At least you'll always be in their memories." He smiled and Emma leaned on his shoulder.

"Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't think they'll leave. I'll just guide them well, but you have to help me okay? They don't know that I've been learning a lot from you and MEI after all. Though Dr. Mobius quit early, saying that everybody was mediocre." She chuckled and remembered Mobius almost having a stroke while teaching from pure frustration.

Ein laughed and thought Mobius wasn't really a good teacher nor leader. She was a nightmare for the students, even producing a paper that gave her a nobel prize in medicine called the new generation's pandemic, smooth brain disorder. And the participants were her students.

"You've done well in guiding them Emma. Good job, I can't really teach the group full time as I'm too busy, so you're still their mentor. Aren't you glad they're so successful already at their age?" He chuckled and Emma nodded.

"Un, thank you. And I am happy for them, it's also because of your group of friends that they're this successful. And it means a lot to me that you've nurtured them with me." She gave a satisfied sigh and enjoyed the cold night breeze.

Watching the stars with Ein as she thought that she was living a satisfying life. Hoping it would stay like that for a long time. "Beer?" Ein then took out cans of beer and was chewing on some yakitori that appeared from nowhere.

"How in the world do you do that anyway?" She asked while opening the can. "Stop asking, start drinking girl. There are things in this world that aren't meant to be discovered by humans." He laughed and handed her a skewer.

After a few more years of the loli science brigade being busy. They were now teens, Einstein is 16 and she has finally completed her paper on the theory of general relativity. Completing her PhD, Tesla was working under Supergen, meaning her boss is Edison, while Schrodinger kept making discoveries about quantum physics and received another nobel prize.

Edison was currently busy, being trained to take over the company as she was almost 18, her drive and intellect was also enough to take over completely.

And today was the day she would be the complete owner of the company. "Tch, why didn't I get into Spiral workshop and got in your company instead." Tesla was frustrated and she trash talked Edison's company.

"Maybe if you were good you'd be accepted there Tesla. But it seems Maestro Vill-v doesn't deem you brilliant enough." Nancy fired back and Tesla got depressed. Vill didn't accept her application and was instead put in Supergen.

"As if you're good enough to enter her company Nancy. All you do is industrialize things, while Dr. Vill-v creates gadgets that are basically magic while distributing them to the world." They quarreled and suddenly, a butler entered the room with haste.

"Young miss! Your parents are en route to here and they were tangled up by a honkai beast attack!" Edison and Tesla went wide eyed at the news. "Quick! We need to go there immediately! Call for help and try to get them out of there now!" Nancy ran to the nearest vehicle and Tesla followed. Fortunately, it was nearby.

Meanwhile, Ein was also en route to Supergen's main building to congratulate Edison. It was technically his company as well after all. But honkai beasts burst out of the ground, making him frown.

"Hmm, those aren't natural." He looked at them and they had signs of tampering, mostly from tools and bits of them were taken from them. And there was an underground lab where they came from.

"Hah, there's only one person that could be responsible for this. It seems she needs a visit... No matter, I will take care of this 1st. Stop the car." The driver stopped and immediately offered. "Should I take care of this Ein-sama? They're just small honkai beasts."

"No, just have a smoke break or something. I haven't killed things for some time now, makes me feel like there's something missing. I guess this is my consequence for being a war veteran." He sighed and thought his body was itching to kill something.

"Now die quickly please. I have some work to do still you see?" He clenched his hands and the honkai beasts disappeared. Crushed instantenuously and almost reaching the schwarzschild radius. "Oops, they almost turned to black holes, te he."

He said it like the thing won't destroy earth as they had enough mass to create a viable black hole that wouldn't evaporate immediately. Although even if they did, they would explode and cause a biodiversity ending explosion as well.

"Well, that's all fine and dandy." But he felt that Edison's parents were being attacked by some honkai beasts as well. "Tch, I am so going to sic Aponia on you Tilie. Prepare yourself woman, you will not enjoy your punishment later."

He flew away and went to the site where Nancy's parents were getting pinned by honkai beasts. And he saw an emperor class rampaging, it was Vishnu. Although it was weak as hell compared to the previous era where it would evolve and get stronger by eating other honkai beasts.

"Hmm~ This is a good sign. It means the honkai doesn't see our hidden developments for the world." He then elegantly landed in front of the honkai beast.

"Go on big guy, I dare you." He has his hands on his back and Vishnu quickly ran at him, intent on smearing him to the ground.

Edison and Tesla arrived at the area and saw him about to be crushed. "Ein-nii! Noo!" They both shouted, but Vishnu's fist stopped completely. Just 1 cm away from his face and there were also no wind pressure. The momentum was fully cancelled.

"That isn't how you throw a punch, this is how you do it." He gave a jab to its fist and the air pressure completely blew it apart along with its head.

Tesla and Edison were shocked out of their minds, looking at the scene. Vishnu slowly fell and the ground trembled at the sheer weight of it.

"Damned honkai beasts, they always get in the way or something." He dusted off his knuckles and blew at it as it was still smoking.

He then looked at his two students and smiled. "Ahh, Tesla and Edison. Can you help me dearies, your parents are righhht over there." He pointed at some rubble and Nancy quickly ran to them.

"Ein-nii... How the hell did you do that? That ain't normal!" Tesla shouted and was really confused on how he killed it with his bare fists.

"Ohh you will know, but you still haven't earned the right yet. Watch more anime 1st kid, then I'll teach you the moves." She didn't understand, but she knew better than to pry and suffer the consequences. She watched how the mafia takes care of people in t.v.

"I... I see. I didn't saw anything, I promise." She raised her hand and got nervous. "Good girl, now help Nancy. We've got a turning over ceremony to catch." He already healed up Nancy's parents and nonchalantly entered the car Tesla and Nancy arrived in.

"Ein-nii's hella scary. What the fuck was that? Is he an alien or something? He won't teleport me in some UFO and fiddle with my brain would he?" She shook her head, ridding it of useless thoughts and helped Nancy to get her parents in the car.

Ein gave a comm to Aponia with a sigh. "Aponia, baby. There's someone that needs some discipline. I'll send you the coordinates okay?" He then located Schicksal's overseer and sent Aponia where she was.

"Understood Ein-sama. I will be arriving shortly." Aponia quickly replied and went to the location.

Nancy and Tesla were supporting the parents of Edison, when Schicksal's valkyries arrived. And it was the S rank that came, but she was obviously late.

"Civilians at the perimeter, locate the honkai beasts immediately. This operation is a search and destroy, go." The blonde paladin was wielding abyss flower and she instantly noticed that the runaway Vishnu was pulverized to a pulp.

Ein saw her and went out of the car to talk to her. "Hey, you. You're Tilie's paladin right? You better pass this message to her later. Your name is Reanna right? I'm Einheri, tell the overseer that every action has an equivalent reaction." He said to her as he narrowed his eyes.

'This man is Aesir's chairman... But what does he mean by that? Does he know that this is Schicksal's fault?' Her mind was running a mile a minute and she could only nod.

"Uhhh yes. I will tell her that later." She meekly said which surprised her squad mates. As Reanna was the paladin of the valkyrie order.

"And wait a sec, you feel funny." He walked up to her and there was a master switch that would let Ottilie control her body when it was activated. He sighed and thought his Soulium was being misused quite heavily.

"Don't move girl. I'll be doing something that you will help you in the future." He put his arm on her waist and she gasped, not expecting him to touch her that closely.

"This will only take a couple of few." He inserted his tongue inside her mouth and made quick work of the network that would control her body, replacing it with his own so it would look natural.

"Hmm, there. All done, Tesla! Edison! We're leaving. Let's go and let the valkyries take care of this mess." He drove the car and quickly went to the turnover ceremony. Leaving a shell shocked Reanna that was still rebooting.

"Wh-what!? My... My lips were stolen from me, such a shameless man!" She stomped on the ground and it cracked from the force. Her squad then tried calming her down.

At Europe, Ottilie sighed as she thought what the hell the lab in America was doing. As they had catastrophic failures and released honkai beasts to the city. "What a disaster, Schicksal would be in jeopardy with this event. Ein surely knows it was our fault." She sat down and massaged her temples.

She was thinking of what would happen and how to explain this when he arrives. As he would surely come to her, it was only a matter of time.

But she heard footsteps and the room went eerily quiet. "Wh-who's there?" Ottilie brandished her copy of Shamash immediately and tried looking for the culprit.

Only to find nothing, but the footsteps were still tapping on the floor and she was getting nervous. "Show yourself, who are you and who sent you?" She looked at all directions frantically.

She then heard a ring of a bell and Aponia appeared right in front of her, wearing her signature nun cosplay while looking like she was praying. "You... Are Ottilie Apocalypse correct? Your fate has been broken, but that does not mean your punishment has."

Ottilie shivered and thought she got to get the hell out of there. "Ein-sama sends his regards Ottilie Apocalypse. You will be subject to numerous disciplines. And... You, shall be tested by untold sufferings." Aponia then started and Ottilie screamed bloody murder.

"Noo! Kallen! I... I only did it for you! For the world!" She screamed and was disciplined for multiple weeks in just a few seconds.

She then slumped down to the ground and panted heavily, sweating like a pig as she looked for the mysterious nun. But she wasn't there.

"Hah, hah. What... In the world was that..." She then collapsed and went unconscious. "Ara. We were just beginning too. Don't give up now." Aponia started again and Ottilie screamed once again.

After a few more times, her eyes were hollow and she was drooling. But she would recover after a few days. "Impressive will. But it is not enough to earn Ein-sama's favor Ottilie Apocalypse. Remember this day dearly." Aponia then walked away and her footsteps resounded in the quiet room.

Ein and the others quickly arrived at the venue and there were no hiccups like earlier. But Nancy noticed that the honkai beasts appeared suspiciously. They always appeared from the outskirts and were dealt with extremely quickly.

So she investigated and found Schicksal suspicious as hell. As they were the ones that handled honkai beasts on the regular. "Schicksal is shady... If I was the overseer of it, I too would experiment on the honkai extensively to gain more benefits out of it."

She then had an idea. It was centered in Europe and their influence in America wasn't that big. So she would propose a new branch in NA. And will slowly infiltrate the information inside of it.

Not only would she be able to fight the honkai more effectively that was a threat to industrialization. She will also be finding evidence that Schicksal almost killed her parents to get revenge if she was right in her conjectures.

"But Ein-nii is getting more and more mysterious as the days go by. How in the world did he kill that emperor class with his fists... Maybe I can find more with Schicksal's database. I will also invite Emma-nee and the others." Her decision was now solid.

And she had a bad habit of being too focused on things. When she puts her mind to it, there's nothing stopping her. So she quickly prepared for a proposal to meet with the overseer of Schicksal and make a North American branch with her friends.
