Chapter 109: Professor Ein
Ein stalked his prey, and they were inside a room. Playing a duet with the piano and violin. He saw a little kid that had EINSTEIN's signature mop looking hair with the scientist Emma Planck.
"Good playing Lieserl, are you sure you're not a musician? You are also talented in music, not just science." Emma smiled at the young girl. At the tender age of 8, she taught herself calculus and linear algebra. And because of her intellect, Lieserl didn't make any friends at all. So she was handed to Emma Planck to be her mentor. Another young prodigy, already a professor in Princeton university.
"Emma-nee. Stop with the pleasantries please, you know that I am going to pursue a career in science." Lieserl blushed a bit. She was still a kid and hearing compliments from your mentor would bring your mood up.
"Hehe~ look at you getting all embarrassed, give your big sister a hug." Emma raised her hands wide and glomped on Lieserl.
Ein watched the scene and thought Lieserl was also like EINSTEIN. Acting all cold and logical, but was secretly a softie inside. Unlike Mobius the mad scientist and MEI that nearly always goes with pure logic.
He decided to tell Vill-v, Mobius, and MEI that he was going to be a professor in Princeton University. Feeling that there was something juicy going to happen.
"Hmm. Maybe we should go there as well, I will be teaching biology then. The time right now are producing average scholars. They might be worth teaching." Mobius said, everyone deadpanned at her. Geniuses of the highest caliber were just average for Mobius. She was a scientist that reached the top when people thought there were hardly more things to discover after all.
"She's as blunt as ever. This is interesting Ein, it's getting pretty boring here too. Just creating the mega structures and doing paperwork. I'm in!" Vill shouted excitedly, wanting to teach engineering and impart her knowledge to the new era.
"This Emma Planck is quite the scientist Ein. She discovered the basics of quantum theory when the tech is behind. She must be quite the genius no? Someone worth teaching about the universe." MEI nodded sagely. The only ones she could talk to about her work and hobbies were Ein, Mobius, Vill, EINSTEIN, and Su after all.
Nuwa and Fuxi are brilliant scientists, but they were mediocre relative to the brightest minds of their time. And the twins were more interested in playing around and enjoying life than to unravel the mysteries of the world.
And with their research into the sea of quanta. They already know how this multiverse worked, although Ein stated there are ones with wildly differing energies out there. But they're locked in until Ein completes his plan.
"Well, you don't need to send your CV's. Just pop in and become professors already." He warped them to his location and they went to the office of the university president to get their curriculum.
Ein then knocked at the room and entered. Making Emma and Lieserl look at his tall form. "Hello, I heard your playing and it made me come here. I'm Einheri Aesir, please do call me Ein." He smiled and waved at them.
Lieserl was curious on who he was and Emma smiled at him. "I am Emma Planck, pleased to meet you Ein. This is Lieserl, she actually has a nickname similar to yours." Emma chuckled and Lieserl introduced herself.
"I am Lieserl Albert Einstein. Call me Lieserl so we won't get mixed up please." The little Einstein said with a straight face. Emma then asked who he was as he looked like a respectable gentleman. And his last name was also the same as that huge company Aesir corp.
"Ein, are you perhaps someone related to Aesir corp.? Forgive me for asking a personal question, but it just clicked into my mind you see?" He waved his hand nonchalantly.
"Yes, yes I am. I'm actually the current chairman. It is a famous company that my ancestor built so it isn't your fault that you are curious." He lied through his teeth, Emma and Lieserl were surprised that the chairman of the group came at Princeton himself.
"You're the chairman? That's quite shocking really. Then you own Spiral workshop as well?" Emma was excited to talk to him. Vill's sector industrialized the world and created technology that was like magic. Patenting cameras, planes, cars, etc.
"Umu, I'm here with the new generation CEO of Spiral workshop too. We are new professors in the university. Call it a hobby of ours, but teaching people about science is quite fun no?" He stated, Emma smiled at his words and nodded.
Meanwhile, Lieserl raised a brow and was skeptical. "Do you really have the necessary qualifications to teach? Aren't you a businessman?" Lieserl knew his company had brilliant people in it. But she thought that he only had them under him. Not the one making the ideas and patents.
"Lieserl, that's rude. Apologize to him this instant." Emma chided her, but Ein chuckled at the little Einstein. "Why yes, I'm glad you asked. Here, take a look at this. These are our CV's." He took out a thick stack of papers that contained the gang's forged Curriculum Vitae.
Lieserl and Emma started to read it and went wide eyed at his educational attainment. Not that it was real anyway. He has a doctorate in numerous fields in science. Biology, genetics, physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, astronomy, biochemistry, psychology, medicine. And the list went on, and he has two doctorates in every field. A PhD and EdD at all of them.
"Uhh, is this for real? You're quite the over achiever Ein..." Emma smiled wryly at him. Even her genius pales in comparison to his, it would be fine if he just graduated in those particular fields. But he has a doctorate in all of them. And they were all done in prestigious schools as well, not some back water university somewhere. To top it all off, he was hot as hell.
"You can contact them. It was quite fun, getting doctorates left and right. It was like collecting pokemon badges." He chuckled, Lieserl and Emma didn't understand. But they knew this guy was insane.
"Ohh, how about we commemorate our newfound friendship with some music? You guys played quite beautifully. I also know some, can I?" He asked Emma for her violin and she handed it to him.
Ein played Paganini caprice number 5 with the original bowing. "Just a relatively short piece. But I quite like it." He smiled and started playing the ridiculously hard piece with such clear tone and musicality that made Emma question her skills with the instrument. (I've played it. It's insanely hard.)
Lieserl and Emma thought what he couldn't do. He wasn't only smart as hell, Ein was also a virtuoso. "Uhh, sorry Ein-san. That I doubted your qualifications to teach here." Lieserl fidgeted and was embarrassed that she basically called him a quack.
He smiled and patted her head. "Hmm~ how about you wear this and say nyan cutely. I'll forgive you then." He gave her some cat ears and whiskers. Lieserl cringed and looked to Emma for help.
But Planck was amused. She ignored Lieserl's silent plea and closed her eyes with a bright smile on her face. "Come on Lieserl, it's important to apologize you know?"
Einstein couldn't retort to that as she said something that is very offending. So she wore the cosmetic items and Ein took out his HD camera with a sinister smile on his face.
"Okay Lieserl, one, two, three. Say Nyan!" Einstein looked like she was constipated and Emma pinched her side. "Come on Lieserl, cuter. You don't look cute at all."
Lieserl gave a strained smile and raised her hand to mimic a cat's paw. "Nyan~" Ein got it all in video and gave a bright smile. "Okay Lieserl, I forgive you. I look forward to see you again okay?" He patted her head and gave her a cookie.
Ein also gave a picture of Lieserl wearing the cat ears and whiskers to Emma. "That's for lending me your instrument, the payment must be enough no?" He whispered to her like he was selling drugs and Emma gave a wide smile.
"Umu. It's more than enough, welcome to Princeton Ein. It seems we would be good friends, thank you for hanging out with us today." Emma pocketed the picture at the side where Lieserl won't see it.
"Well then, it was nice meeting the both of you. I will be going now, see you later." He said his goodbyes and he went out the door. "Emma-nee... What did he gave to you? I know that look in your face. It was just like the time when you told me we were getting some noodles and you fed me fish semen." Lieserl narrowed her eyes at her and was suspicious.
"Oh heavens no! It was just a small treat that he left me." She took out a bag that had cookies inside of it that Ein also gave for camouflage. Lieserl was still suspicious of her, but she couldn't do anything.

Ein met with the new teacher squad and they all discussed their curriculum. "I'll be teaching engineering of course. Maybe one of my students can make some magic with my teachings?" Vill excitedly showed her schedule.
"Mine would be Biology and Biochemistry. Simple enough, I hope there would be half decent students in my class." Mobius wanted to teach the wonders of genes and biology. Imparting her centuries of knowledge to new scientists.
"Of course I will be teaching physics. I am also quite interested with Emma Planck, she would be at the same college of science as me. Maybe teach her the secrets of the universe while I'm at it." MEI said, quite interested in Emma.
"I actually met them. She's a nice girl, she was also mentoring a kid named Einstein. And obviously, she looks like our EINSTEIN, just a kid version." He then showed them her video and they felt bad for EINSTEIN that was surely going to be teased by him.
"I have a meeting, pardon me ladies. I'll meet you back in the base." He gave them a La bise and went to Europe. Messing with a particular blonde woman.

Ottilie was currently trying cloning. But it was a failure and the one she worked on was an abomination that had plenty of defects. "Damn it. This is a failure as well, I would need a few more decades to make this a success." She was trying to make a reincarnation of Kallen by using her genes.
Though she didn't saw much success, it was because Ottilie knew that void archives has a will inside it that wanted to control her body. So she didn't rely on it too much or she would succumb to it.
Her subordinate then told her that the new scion of Aesir corp. was there to visit. "The new heir huh?" Ein faked his death and reappeared a couple of years later. Complete with looking a bit younger as he could be any age he wished.
"Who is he trying to trick, I don't believe for a second that he has died." Ein's papers and timing was perfect, but of course Schicksal's overseer wasn't stupid. She might not understand people's feelings well. But she could feel it, he was still the same old person that she saw centuries ago in Shenzou.
"Let him in. He doesn't come here for games. What does he have in mind now?" She was still stumped on what his goals were. And whenever he comes, he would annoy her to no end. "Does he have something interesting again? I do hope so."
He gave her some snippets of knowledge whenever he met with her. Like the stigmatas for example, Ein was interested on how far she could go. Ottilie's focus on the valkyries were actually because of the books and maps of ruins Ein gave her.
They have unearthed locations where Soulium were and she was working on it in accordance to cloning. Ottilie felt that her body was too weak, so she got the idea of making a Soulium avatar to transfer her mind to it.
She entered a room and saw Ein there, swirling a glass of wine on his hand. "Greetings Ms. Apocalypse, it's quite nice to see the overseer of Schicksal for real. My parents have told me of you, they told me you were a good friend of theirs." He gave a smirk and Ottilie sighed.
"I assume your name is Einheri Aesir?" She raised a brow at him and he acted surprised. "How did you know? Well, it was the name of my father and his father, and his father's father and so on." He was messing with her and Ottilie almost popped a vein.
"You do know that I know you're the same from back then right? Your papers and timing might be perfect, but your personality is still the same old friend." Ottilie sighed heavily and sat down on a couch. Pouring herself some wine as she was getting a headache.
"Kukuku~ I didn't exactly hide it now did I? So, how's the wife and kids?" He asked and she narrowed her eyes at him. "You're still the same as ever. I'm busy Ein, leave me alone if you don't have something for me." She massaged her temples. He always messed with her whenever he came to visit.
"Alright, alright. You're too uptight, that's why you're still a virgin loner. Touch some grass, sheesh." He gave her a book and she looked at the cover with some annoyance at his words.
"Biology for dummies? How to make a human from scratch?" She deadpanned at him and he winked at her. "Ein... You've helped me a lot, true. But lord forgive me, for I am about to commit violence."
She was going to whip out void archives, but he disappeared and went behind her back. "Shush, lighten up lady. It's just a joke." He then traced her nape and she shivered. "Hmmm!~" She covered her mouth immediately and glared at him.
He harassed her everytime they met, giving her stress. "Well, enough play time. How's your paladin? She is quite strong no?" He sat down once again and took a sip of his wine.
The paladin of Schicksal was someone that Ottilie recruited quickly, she didn't enter Ein's radar and the overseer got lucky that she met her first.
"Hah, you're going to make me die of an aneurysm one day. I just know it as for, Reanna Brigantia huh? My strongest valkyrie, she is now completely a cyborg. Her whole body is made out of Soulium." Ottilie then drank some wine as well. (pic here)
Ein gave her schematics a hundred years ago on how to create cybernetics and turn humans into a cyborg. He thought she was going to use it on herself to become immortal, but she instead did it on one of the S rank valkyries in Schicksal as she had a unique constitution, able to receive the procedures done to her without much trouble.
"Hmm~ And according to my little birds. You've been trying to make a clone." He smirked at her. She then thought that there it was, his playful questions that would put pressure on her and challenge her decisions.
She quite liked his personality even though it stressed her often. Growing to see him as a real friend, although quite dangerous as he obviously knew everything that she did. It puts her on edge and made her think more carefully, giving her a kick and certain thrill in his mind games. Like a drug she just can't quit.
"It's just a certain project of mine that interested me. I wanted to create a person that could be the perfect valkyrie. Even though the black and white angel are still around, they can't appear on other places that need help simultaneously no?" Kallen and Sakura did their work diligently and Ottilie investigated them, but nothing came out of it.
Though she saw the white angel's blue eyes and white hair. Making her suspicious of her identity. Thinking that it might be Kallen's will personified as she exterminated honkai beasts and healed plagues. Just like how Kallen would help people without question.
She even used it to her advantage and released propaganda that it was the holy maiden Kallen's will. So she won't forgotten and to honor her memory.
"I see, then I will leave you to your own devices Tilie. The great inventor." He gave a smirk and left. Ottilie choked on her drink and went wide eyed, coughing violently. "Wait! Where did you learn that..." He was already gone and she looked at the book he gave.
"Just who are you Ein? Did he knew Kallen? It's possible... What are your secrets, and how did he know that. Is Kallen perhaps out there? But that's impossible, I saw her die with my own two eyes..." She agonized and thought that something is fishy about Kallen's death.

Ein was now in the base and searched for EINSTEIN. He found her in the lab, talking with MEI about their new profession. "Ein. Why didn't you invite me? So you're excluding me from these kinds of things now huh?" She pouted at him and got jealous that she invited the others.
"Kukuku~ You won't say that if you see this." He took out the video of Lieserl in cat ears and EINSTEIN choked on her saliva. "Wh-who is that?" Her voice shaked and asked. The girl looked exactly like her except some subtle differences.
"She's Lieserl Albert Einstein. Your doppelganger, quite cute no?" He played it and she heard the strained nyan Lieserl blurted out. "Ugh, how did you even made her do that? I'm amazed at how you could make the kid say that line. She's obviously unwilling." EINSTEIN observed the clip.
"Trade secret, anyways. We will be teaching at Princeton! How about you go to Harvard or Oxford? Then surprise little Lieserl when she sees you?" He chuckled and MEI shook her head.
"There he goes again, terrorizing people with his pranks." MEI sighed heavily and prayed for the little girl. "I don't terrorize people MEI. I give them core memories that they'll never forget. There's a difference." He nodded sagely and the two deadpanned at him.
"Core trauma you mean? Enough of this, let's go prepare for classes." MEI wanted to look nice when they teach.
"Oh, can you also tell Kallen to go to her work next time without her hood? But when she notices that someone is watching her, just give a glimpse of her face. Just a little surprise for someone, hehe~" He gave a grin and MEI thought he was playing his mind games again on someone.
"Is this for that girl? Kallen's friend back then or something? God bless your soul woman. You'll be in for a ride." MEI prayed for her sanity and EINSTEIN nodded approvingly.
"Oh come on, it's not that bad. I'm also giving her clues. I've hidden her too well, so we will be decreasing the difficulty a bit." Ein thought Ottilie won't be able to discover Kallen if things went on at this pace. So he gave her a little boost.

The professor group then went to Princeton to teach, they were looking clean and everybody looked at them. "My class is over there, good luck everybody. Don't be too hard on your students okay?" Ein broke off with the group and he quickly went to his classroom.
He opened the door violently and looked at the students that were shell shocked. "Hi~ my cute little students. I am professor Aesir, I will be teaching you guys some basic physics today." The students gained their wits and looked at their syllabus. It was a class about quantum physics...
"Umm professor... This is a class about quantum physics though." One student asked and he nodded. "That's right, you will be learning about basic physics as I said, don't worry. It's not hard really." He shrugged and the students sweated heavily.
