Chapter 5 - Calling

'Hu-ava la-qua yu-neva..'(Are you afraid, little one) the voice seemed to echo in each part of Driesia's mind, while the drifting black of her dreams became foggy, her small figure standing within the black void as she looked around confused.

"Mother! Aunt Antiope! where are you." Driesia yelled out, her words carried to nowhere as she looked at the fog, it started to spin over and over, kicking up the girls hair as she watched a figure pull itself from the fog.

"I thought this was our special place, only for us, are you not happy to see me?" The figure's body was covered in overly revealing clothes, her skin glowing green at some points on her body, the deep tattoos etched along her skin glowing as she smiled at the little girl.

"Enchantress! I was so scared, I haven't been here in so long, I thought you'd never return." Driesia said, yelling as she ran into the woman's embrace, her head rubbing into her stomach as it caused Enchantress to laugh.

"I couldn't, and never would forget you. I have had things to do, I'm sorry I did not come sooner." The enchantress said in a soft tone, picking the girl up as she rub their faces together.

The two stood in silence for a moment, while Driesia tried to stop smiling, turning her head away in a pout, enchantress turning into fog as she went to each side of the girls face as she levitated her in the air. Each time she would disappear Driesia would turn her head away as if angry at her.

"Oh, it seems the little goddess is angry, tell me what I must do for you to stop being mad." Enchantress caught the girl in her arms, pulling her close as her voice became somewhat silly, only getting the girls head to turn away once more. "Oh alright, please." Enchantress stopped, smiling as she saw the girls face turn to her again.

"Promise.." Soon Driesia spoke, her face having a small smile as she held out her pinky, watching as Enchantress acted confused at the sight.

"What ever do you want me to promise, my little goddess." Enchantress smiled as she watched the pouting girl roll her eyes, something she even found cute. Wrapping her finger around the girls as she asked, fainting as if she didn't understand.

"You have to promise you won't leave again, who else will teach me." Driesia spoke with joy and yet slight sadness in her voice, her eyes looking as if she wouldn't take no for an answer.

"What do you mean teach you?" Enchantress continues to play with the girl, her hand rotating a little as she smiled. "You mean this.." from her hand fog filled with light drifted out like a moving river, the world changing to the vast sea of rolling clear water. The two standing on top of it as fish swam beneath their feet.

"Enchantress!" Driesia yelled, her eyes glowing as she couldn't hide the stars within them for even a moment, her feet moving as if she wished to be put down, yet she still held on to Enchantress as she tapped her foot on the water.

"It's so pretty Enchantress." finally getting down, she held her hands out as if to balance, looking at the almost unnaturally clear water, falling to her knees as she pushed her hands below to grab a fish made up of beautiful colors.

"I'm sure with the help of your mother, one day you will do much better." Enchantress said, watching Driesia play with the fish, her eyes looking at her every movement while Driesia soon stop.

"Uh, mom, mom doesn't know.." Driesia spoke while holding her knees, and with her other hand drew circles in the splashing water as if in trouble. "I wanted to surprise mother, so that I could protect her from the bad voices." Driesia continued, her face low as she felt a hand rub her cheek.

"There is no need to be so down.. we will keep it our little secret, like before." Enchantress said, rubbing the girls face gently as she smiled, her eyes glowing green as the fish below Driesia, started jumping around her as she giggled.

"You promise, you promise to not leave?" Driesia who giggled, turned her eyes from the fish as she spoke in a hopeful tone. "And that you'll keep teaching me?" she went on, turning her eyes away as if she was asking to much.

"Stop that." Enchantress leaned her hand down, brushing Driesia's hair out of her face, speaking in a loving tone as she raised her finger. "I promise it to be here as long as you need me, if you promise to smile." Enchantress continued as she watched the girl smile from ear to ear.

"I promise!" Driesia practically yelled, her eyes watching as Enchantress's pointer finger, glowed green at the tip, dragging it across her skin over her heart, where a green glowing X could be seen.

"Then it's a promise." Enchantress smiled as well, watching as Driesia skin above her heart, had an X etched into it as well. "Now, show me how much you've improved." Enchantress asked, pulling the girl to her feet.

"OK, uh.. what was it again." Driesia wiped of her dress, giggling as she placed her finger on her chin. "Ah, I remember! Ku-va." Driesia finally spoke after trying to remember something for a few minutes, her eyes becoming happy as watched her golden energy like lightning, move under her skin as it spun changing to something that resemble a flower.

"Relax Driesia, there is no need to rush, let it flow through every part of you equally." Enchantress said, watching the girls eyes glow green, her eyes becoming sharpe as she watch the girls heart beat with green light underneath her skin.

"Stop! don't talk to me!" Yet Driesia started to freak out, the waves turning black as they started to swell. Crashing with the force of mountains around them.

'Er-vich to-amu las-yu' (What are you doing, sister.) The words echoed within this world, with each one causing Driesia power to become more unstable.

"Calm yourself, Driesia, leave the words out of your mind, listen to only my voice." Enchantress held Driesia slightly, watching her grip her head as her eyes glowed golden at their center, massive tendrils of black and golden coming from the sea as they shot towards the two.

"Enchantress!" Driesia yelled, watching the tendrils rush forward, her eyes closing as she pushed herself into Enchantress's embrace.

"Do not close your eyes Driesia, I am with you." Enchantress spoke calmly, her hand turning the girl to watch, while her other hand reached down to Driesia's, holding it up to the rushing tendrils."You have more power than you think, my little goddess." Enchantress watched as the tendrils met the girls hands. The tendrils, the sea, and the crashing waves turning into a sea of rose pedals. They fell like rain, cascading down to cover the world.

"It's, it's, it's so pretty.." Driesia said in her embrace, her voice and body weak as she watched the roses fall into her hands before falling unconscious.

"That is enough little goddess. Rest for now." Enchantress's voice echoed, causing the girl to smile as she disappeared from this world.

"I have come to free you brother.." Enchantress left alone spoke, the world changing to show two realms, standing like mirrors. One of the temple that held Incubus, the other a deep cave that held another totem.

"Even from yourself.."
