"Father, where are we going?"
The Prince walked through the dark hallway. This was the first time his father was bringing him to such a place.
Even though this was a closed space, the Prince still felt cold, as if he could feel freezing winds coming from the other side.
"Karyk, are you a grown up?" The King did not answer his son. Instead, he asked him a question of his own.
"I am," the Prince answered. He was always treated like a child, never even allowed to leave the Palace. But this time, he wanted to tell his family that he was a grown up. He could protect himself.
"In that case, are you willing to carry your responsibility?" The King asked. Instead of slowing down, he only walked faster, forcing the Prince to keep up with him.
"Responsibility?" The Prince did not understand what his father was talking about. What responsibility did he have?
