"Liam sweetie? Are you drawing these weird stuff again?" A woman who was in her late 20s spoke, she has long wavy hair, a pair of brown eyes, and a beautiful sexy figure.
She wore an apron while holding a spoon in her hands as she stared at the young boy who was at the dinner table drawing some strange-looking people on some sheets of paper.
"Weird? What's weird about them Mom?" Curly-brown hair, and a pair of hazel eyes, the eight-year-old boy looked at his mother with confusion, he looked at his drawing for him there weren't any problems, he even praises his superb talent in drawing.
"It's weird, you draw these strange-looking people on these sheets of paper. For example this!" Silvia said as she held the sheet of paper where there looked to be a blue-skinned man wearing a long red leather coat with matching pants and a black undershirt. He also wore a pair of brown boots and gloves and accessorized with a belt and pouches, he also had this strange emblem.
Additionally what Silvia find weird is this fin on the blue man's head, it looked to be glued into the head which made Silvia look at it in a somewhat horrendous way.
"Look at what you drew on his head Liam, it looks like he was subjugated to some extreme experiment that some scientist glued this fin on his head, it looks scary if I look at it, It also looks like someone stabbed a fin on his head Liam," Silvia said.
Liam just looked at his mother, he was tired of explaining every time and everything he drew to his mother.
Though he kind of understand why his mother would say that it looked like it was stabbed inside the head, overall he didn't care what his mother's opinion is.
Silvia just looked at his six-year-old son, she always knew that her son loves to draw this strange-looking alien, though she never understands why though. But she has to admit her son has this creativity in drawing these characters.
"Just let him draw what he wants honey." A man with slicked-back black hair, and a pair of hazel eyes. He wore a suit while holding a brown briefcase.
Jhon the father of Liam and the husband of Silvia said as he put his suitcase on the sofa.
He just came back from work, he worked at a small insurance company. Though he kind of understand his wife's worries for their son, he also saw some of his son's works just like the strange green tree named 'Groot' or the talking raccoon that can shoot. He doesn't mind, instead, he loves the creativity his son has.
Jhon loves the short panels his son creates, there would be conversations between the characters his son would create, the epic details, the story, the line, and the graphics of each character.
At first, he didn't know what these panels were, they look like criss-cross and some bubbles had text on them, he was confused it was the first time he saw something like this.
As soon as his son started explaining and calling the stuff he created 'comics' he started reading them, and well he loved it.
It was a story but a more complex one unlike those fairy tales written or novels, it had more realism, actions, and aside from the aliens his son created, but the story itself was as if it was truly happening because of the graphics of the characters also because of the dialogue between the characters it was smooth and didn't act like it was forced.
His son called the comics 'the guardians of the galaxy' and well Jhon got immersed in reading them that he even bought tons of drawing materials and a lot of sheets of paper his son could draw on.
He was now curious about what would happen to Peter Quill who was imprisoned in this interstellar prison facility called 'Kyln' that was run by the Nova Corps.
Jhon walked near his son, and Liam handed him twenty sheets of paper.
Jhon happily held the papers as he was excited to read the next part.
"Well thank you," John said as he held the papers and walked upstairs to get changed.
"You two are a son and father duo." Silvia couldn't help but let out a long sigh, she knew that his husband was fully drawn to their son's drawings.
She does support Liam's talents, and even she was surprised at such drawing skills from their young boy.
She also read some parts of the drawings in her spare time, she can say that her son was indeed talented to even create such wonderful drawings and graphics that can even rival famous artists.
But it's just that she was worried for her son's education and social skills, when Liam started to draw he started to stay at home every Sunday and Saturday, and he also rarely play with the neighborhood kids. This made her worry about her son's social life in the future.
Jhon who finished changing came downstairs, he sat on the sofa and started to read the next following events.
A raccoon, a tree man, a green woman, a human, and another member who calls himself 'Drax the Destroyer' Jhon couldn't help but laugh at the following events that ensued.
He loved the fight scenes that looked vivid, and he read the part where they teamed up and escaped the prison to sell this purple orb.
John felt that this orb was special, especially because of the appearance of this kree called 'Ronan' who was searching for the orb. Jhon wanted to ask Liam, but he knew that his son would never spoil him in the following events.
As Jhon got fully immersed in his son's drawings, his son Liam was looking at the blue-window screen, contrary Jhon nor Silvia couldn't see its existence only Liam could.
Liam stared at the message and rose a small smile on the corners of his lips.
[You have received +10 fan points!]
[You have received +5 fan points!]
Though the fan points were small, this made Liam smile in delight as it shows how much his father is enjoying reading his work.
Though it isn't his work it originated from Stan Lee the creator of Marvel, but Liam doesn't have to worry about the copyrights or him being sued for plagiarism since Stan Lee, Marvel Studios, and Dc Comics do not exist in this world.
Other platforms like Warner Bros or Disney do exist, but the only ones that do not are the famous superheroes and comics in the Marvel and Dc franchises.
This world was just like Earth, same actors, countries, movies, and some famous directors he knew back on his Earth, but the major blunder was that Dc Comics and Marvel does not exist.
The first creator of comic strips was a Swiss schoolmaster named Rodolphe Töppher around 1799-1846. The rise of comic books started around 1938-1940 this was the start of the golden age.
But unlike the history of comics in his past world, this world had zero comic books. There were only newspapers, some magazines, and light novels.
Even his father didn't know what a comic book was, Liam was the first one who introduced it to him. Liam doubted that maybe Rodolphe Töppher did not exist in this world, or maybe he did exist but did not create the first-ever comic strips.
When Liam googled the golden era of comics in his past world it started with the release of Superman, Batman, and Captain Marvel that started the rise of the comic empire.
But without Rodolphe Töppher's creation of the first ever comic strips and the original creators of Superman and other creators not existing, this resulted in this predicament.
He doesn't know why or how this world didn't have any comics, but Liam had the guts it had to do with a roulette he played.
It was a typical roulette game on the internet that he played, there was a bunch of stuff in the roulette, for example, the Technology system which grants the user to create advanced technologies, what Liam got in the roulette was the Comic-Movie System that allows him to create comics and movies.
After the Comic-Movie system was chosen, it had another function to choose the comics. The arrow landed on Marvel and Dc, while the movie system didn't have any other function, he guessed that it allowed him to create any movie he would like.
Right now Liam only has the Comic Function, while the Movie function was still locked, he needed to complete some tasks to open the Movie function of the system.
One of the tasks was for him to create 100 series of comic books.
Liam played that roulette game 20 years ago it was just a coincidence that he found that roulette game site on the internet, but who knew that it would be a system that would help him in his new life?
When he died at the age of sixty, he woke up as a baby named Liam Lockley. Liam even doubted his last name since it was the same last name as his favorite superhero and his favorite split-personality Jake Lockley.
Liam who was a newborn baby was given a system and his small journey started from there. Liam started drawing at the age of two, he couldn't even draw properly at that time due to his tiny fingers.
But with the help of the system, he started to improve, and he started to level up his drawing skills.
Since Dc comics and Marvel did not exist nor were the original creator of these comics, Liam thought that maybe this is his chance to rise, so he started to draw, he started to hone his skills, and that resulted in this.
Liam took his art style from the series Arcane. He loved the graphics from Arcane and took his inspiration from there.
Liam has successfully created a comic for Guardians of the Galaxy but the content was keener to the movie, and his first ever reader is his father.
Liam can completely say with pride that his father is hooked, though the fan points were low he already received a bunch from his father.
Liam has already gathered 129 fan points from his father, he also encouraged his mother to read his works, but she wasn't that hooked on his comic bait, unlike his dad who reads his work every time he comes home.
Liam has already been drawing the comic for a week, and he wasn't halfway through the whole Guardians of the Galaxy plot in the movie, it took a lot of time for him to create every panel there, and he also has to add tons of other details to make the story exciting.
Snapping his fingers away from his immersive thoughts, Liam looked back at the blue window screen.
'System pour twenty points into my stamina.' Fan points can also increase his overall strength, stamina, and his intellect. But for now, he needs to increase his stamina.
