Max Martin

Christmas went by peacefully and Noah enjoyed a rare holiday with his family. Noah recieved many gifts from his family, friends and colleagues on the set. Tom sent him a full new collection of clothes including shoes of different brands of his size. It seemed that all the clothes were carefully selected and there was no piece which didn't suit Noah. There were even some formal dresses for the events, which Noah liked very much as he needed them urgently. Jane asked about the sender, but Noah didn't gave the name and she didn't ask more. Overall, it was a good christmas.

Noah was called by Theo to the studio to discuss the matters releated to the album. As he entered the studio office, he saw Theo sitting with another man taking about something. The person Theo was sitting with seems to be the same age as Theo with unruly long hair.

Noah thinks that he has seen the person before but cannot seem to remember it. Anyway, he entered the office. Theo saw Noah coming and called him.

"Come here Noah." he mention toward the person next to him: "This is Max Martin, a very famous singer, song-writter and a producer. You will be working with him for your album." he then introduced Noah, "Max this is Noah. He will be recording his first album soon. I hope you two can work better."

Max nodded and said, "I know. I have seen the video of him singing. He sang excellently."

Noah on the other side was very surprised when he heard that the person he will be working with is Max Martin.

Max Martin, a seemingly ordinary name. But his songs are not ordinary. He is a Swedish, and a very famous music producer and song writer. He has written and produced many of the masterpieces like "Baby one more time" , "I want it that way" , "It's my life" and many more.

Although he is not famous as in the future, but still Noah was very surprised. He sat on the chair and shook hands with him and introduced himself:

"Hi, I am Noah Martin. Its nice to you."

Max also shook hands with him and smiled back: "I am also Martin, but Max Martin. I hope our cooperation can be successful."

Noah smiled at his humor. Theo on the side spoke: "Today you can get to know each other, discuss the genre for your album and some other basic things."

Max moved his attention toward Noah, "Theo has told me about your situation and showed me some of the songs written by you. I have to say I am impressed. But first, we have to decide what should be the theme and genre of your album. I want to hear your opinion."

"I like to sing in pop style, but I can also sing many other genres including R&B ,country, folk and soul music."

"Oh, then sing something for me."

Noah nodded and went to the recording studio. He sat infront of the piano and cleared his throat. He started singing the song "A walk for a day" he wrote recently about his meeting with Tom and all the fun he had when he met him on that day. From meeting in the elevator to having lunch, shopping and visiting many places together. Of course, he didn't mention Tom's name in the song. He expressed the tiredness and sadness before meeting to the happiness and motivation after the end of the day. He expressed all the emotion he felt and experienced that day in the song.

As Noah finished the song, there was the sound of two people clapping. He looked at two people in front of him, and Max praised:

"A perfect combination of Pop and R&B style with a little element of soul. What's the name?"

"A walk for a day" Noah smiled shyly. He thought maybe no one would like it, but it seems better than he thought.

"Your voice and singing is very good, but the strongest point of your song was your story telling. Your voice conveyed many emotions and had a great depth to it. It was not as simple as story-telling, infact it makes one feel like experiencing it." Max praised: " Few adjustments are needed and this can be included as one of the main singles for your album."

"Noah, when did you write this song. I didn't hear you sing it before." Theo on the side asked. Although Noah has written some songs before, they were not creative to this level.

"I wrote this a few days ago. There are also few others. I will bring them tomorrow."

"It's good. There are also some I have written. We will decide it then. Now we have decided the main genre as Pop style with few other elements, then lets decide the main theme of the album."

"I don't want the main theme of album to be romance or love. Although one or two such songs can be included, but I don't want it be the focus. I cannot clearly express such topics at least for now."

Max and Theo both nodded at this. Although romantic and love songs can become a hit more easily, but there's no need to let a young artist as Noah to sing them now. People may not be able to resonate with love stories sung by a teenager, who is not even an adult yet.

Noah saw that both of them nodded, he continued, "I think it should be related to childhood, school, or can be like the beginning of a journey. I mean a new start or a new life phase."

"Then, It should be called "Beginning".

"Yes its a good name. I like it." Noah nodded and liked the name suggested by Max. After that, they discussed many things, and it was evening. Noah returned home as David had came to pick him up.

Seeing Noah leaving the studio, Theo spoke: "What do you think now?"

Max on the side heard the words, he was quiet for a while and then answered: " A natural-born musician. Maybe he doesn't understand his talent now, but soon will."

Theo agreed with Max's words.
