Mingling with the Ravenclaw crowd, Andy pulled Hermione towards the common room.
The young wizards were still talking.
Despite the lack of evidence, they still believed that the people who attacked Malfoy were Harry and Ron.
After all, those two had previous convictions.
In fact, Andy also thought that the people who had attacked Malfoy were Harry and Ron at first, but looking at the expressions on both of their faces... it didn't feel quite like it.
Unless their acting skills had reached a level where they could fool Andy, the suspicion of these two could basically be ruled out.
So...who was it again?
Andy had already noticed that there was something off about Malfoy before, and although it was just a feeling, Andy believed in that feeling.
Malfoy had said before that he would find Andy for a private chat after ousting Quirrell, but Malfoy acted as if he had already forgotten about it.
This was clearly not right!
Originally, Andy had wanted to respond to all changes with nonchalance.
No matter who it was, if he made a move, he would definitely leave a trace.
Moreover, there was a high possibility that this matter was related to Quirrell.
After all, Quirrell was the big boss of the first film.
But Andy never expected that the result of his response to change with no change would end up with Malfoy being attacked.
Right! No matter who was attacked, as long as it didn't involve Andy, then it had nothing to do with Andy.
But solving a crime and catching a thief were two different things.
Since there were dangers in the castle, Andy always had to have a minimum understanding of where the dangers came from to avoid them.
"Did you think that it was Potter and Weasley who attacked Malfoy?" Hermione asked in a small voice.
"I don't think so!"
Andy analysed in a low voice, "They both wouldn't have hit that hard. And from what I've read of Filch, it seems that Malfoy was attacked by magic, and the two of them aren't at that level."
Thinking of Harry and Ron's level of magic, Hermione immediately nodded in agreement.
It wasn't their doing, they didn't have that level!
"Then who was it?" Hermione asked.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you."
Andy pulled on the young witch, "Don't be alone for a while, and don't leave my sight except to go to the restroom."
Who solves a case at a time like this?
That would be too much of a pain in the arse.
The little witch reddened slightly and just nodded gently, giving a few inaudible 'hmm'.
Back in the common room, the Prefects let the young wizards roam freely, but they were not allowed to leave the common room.
The young wizards were still talking, about everything.
But it was Harry and Ron who got speculated the most as if they had already decided that they were the murderers.
Andy was equally curious but held his ground.
After tomorrow, when he understood a little bit about what happened and knew the condition of Malfoy's injury, this incident would be considered irrelevant to Andy.
'If the one with the problem is Malfoy, then what kind of magic caused it?'
Andy guessed darkly.
'Or... what is the other party's purpose?'
There was no doubt that Quirrell's purpose was to steal the Philosopher's stone, which was hidden under the flap door in the third-floor corridor of the castle.
'No!'
Andy suddenly realized that Dumbledore might not have put the Philosopher's Stone in there.
Did Quirrell...or rather, did Voldemort know about it?
Maybe he knew, maybe he didn't!
Malfoy was attacked and all the professors were led to the underground chamber...
'So there's at least someone in the castle who needs to go snooping around the corridors on the third floor!'
'But that's simply not going to work!'
'Is Dumbledore a fool to go along with such a bright action?'
Andy's mind was spinning, gradually drifting into clarity.
As long as Dumbledore is still in Hogwarts, the other party cannot act.
Then the other party's only purpose could be to divert attention, or even create a drama so that the people in the castle would think that the attack would continue.
And when everyone focused on the attack, they would naturally ignore other things.
"But... then what?" Andy frowned slightly.
Quirrell wasn't in Hogwarts, so how was he going to steal the Philosopher's Stone?
"Are you thinking about the attack?" Hermione asked suddenly.
"Hmm…! After all, the attack happened right at the school, we must understand it somehow." Andy nodded.
"With Dumbledore around, they'll heal Malfoy," Hermione said.
Heal?
Andy had a flash of realization.
Draco Malfoy was the only heir of the Malfoy family, and with how much the old Malfoy cared for him, how could he let Malfoy stay in the school Hospital Wing for treatment?
Even if the injuries weren't considered serious, as long as they were left by magic, Malfoy would be transferred to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries to be re-examined.
And that way, Quirrell ...aka Voldemort, he could get back inside and infiltrate again.
'That should be it!'
Andy was almost certain.
Quirrell's purpose was to get through Malfoy and infiltrate Hogwarts again.
As long as Malfoy was transferred to the hospital, his plan would be considered successful.
Thinking of this, Andy breathed a sigh of relief.
At least Hogwarts was safe for the time being!
As for the Philosopher's Stone, Quirrell, Voldemort and these things, let's leave it to Dumbledore to have a headache!
Who cares if Voldemort can be resurrected!
Seeing Andy's expression change, Hermione quickly asked, "Andy, have you thought of anything?"
"How could it be?"
Andy denied, "I'm just a young wizard, you should ask Dumbledore about this question."
Hermione was obviously not convinced.
She knew Andy very well, Andy had clearly been thinking about Malfoy's attack before, but all of a sudden he didn't want to, so the only answer was - that Andy had figured it out.
It was almost exactly the same as when Andy was learning magic.
The other side.
Dumbledore led a group of professors to the underground chamber.
Malfoy was lying on the cold floor, he was stiff, his body was burning hot, and a dark aura lingered on his face.
Dumbledore poked at Malfoy with his wand and pulled out a black mist.
"Albus?" Professor McGonagall looked at Dumbledore with a worried expression.
"A very clever dark magic!" Dumbledore said in a deep voice.
Snape also went up to inspect it and then frowned.
This level of dark magic was not something that could be cast by an ordinary person.
And the person who did it didn't take Malfoy's life.
After Dumbledore's initial treatment, the effects caused by the dark magic had diminished quite a bit.
Malfoy would only need to recuperate for a long time next before he could recover.
"Who do you think did this?" Professor McGonagall pressed.
"Obviously, given Potter and Weasley's level of skill, they couldn't have done it."
Snape scowled, "But they're both still suspects, and it may have been the two of them who lured Malfoy here."
Dumbledore spoke slowly, "We both know they didn't do it."
After a pause, Dumbledore continued, "Investigating the truth is the next thing we need to do, as for now...we need to get Malfoy to the Hospital Wing for treatment."
