When Andy and Hermione returned to the Great Hall, all the second-year and older wizards were already there.
The Great Hall was buzzing with excitement as the young wizards gathered together to talk about the interesting things that had happened over the summer.
"Andy, over here!"
Andy's roommate Michael waved enthusiastically. After Andy had taken a seat, Michael immediately asked, "Andy, I read in the newspaper that you captured Sirius Black?"
"Oh my goodness! How did you catch him?"
"I heard from my uncle that since Black escaped from Azkaban, he has disappeared, and the Aurors have turned the wizarding world upside down."
Andy shrugged helplessly, "I ran into Black outside Harry's house. I thought he was there to kill Harry… Later I found out that Black is Harry's godfather."
Hearing Andy's words, a group of young wizards immediately gathered around, and someone asked curiously, "Andy, how did you find out that Black was being wronged? I heard you didn't send him to the Ministry of Magic right away."
"Black can use Animagus,"
Andy explained, "Dementors can't tell the difference between Animagus and Animals, so Black should have been able to escape Azkaban for a long time, but he's been there for twelve years."
"That's pretty abnormal, isn't it?"
After saying that, Andy turned to look at Hermione... Help me!
Hermione smiled at Andy and then turned her head to chat with her roommate.
Andy had no choice but to be asked questions by a group of young wizards—they were curious about Sirius's deeds.
A hero who once fought against the You-Know-Who, but because of his guilt, he willingly chose to be imprisoned in Azkaban to atone for his sins. It wasn't until he discovered the whereabouts of his enemy that he decided to escape from Azkaban and chase after his friend's betrayer alone.
Not only that, Sirius Black was also the first wizard in history to successfully escape from Azkaban.
It is undeniable that Sirius Black has become an idol to a group of people.
Ravenclaws are still relatively normal, but the Gryffindors next to them are already fawning over him.
As Andy recounts the deeds of Sirius Black, a few young Gryffindor witches are screaming like banshees.
A few clever young witches have already taken an interest in the personal life of Sirius Black – he is handsome, has a great sense of style, is currently single, has lost both parents and comes from a wealthy family with a prestigious reputation in the wizarding world.
Those were the perfect prerequisites!
It wasn't until Professor McGonagall led the first-year students into the great hall that Andy was able to escape the questioning.
Looking at the helpless Andy, Hermione laughed and said, "They all admire Black."
Andy leaned over to Hermione's ear and whispered, "That guy has a problem with his IQ. Do you know that he planned to take revenge on his own before I caught him, only when he had no choice he decided to ask Dumbledore for help?"
Hermione gave Andy a reproachful look. "We admire his character, not his intelligence."
Andy shrugged. "That's why I'm a Ravenclaw and he's a Gryffindor. We're just not compatible. Even though I helped him, I'm actually not familiar with him."
Hermione tugged at Andy's sleeve and whispered, "Stop talking. Professor McGonagall is looking at you."
Andy turned his head and sure enough, he saw Professor McGonagall looking at him with some displeasure. Andy quickly sat up straight and obediently watched Professor McGonagall carry out the Sorting Ceremony.
Only then did Professor McGonagall withdraw her gaze.
Andy looked in the direction of the Professor's seat.
Snape was still looking at Harry, but his expression was a bit strange—he was trying hard to lift the corners of his mouth as if he wanted to show Harry a bright smile.
But that smile was grim and terrifying!
Harry and Ron were about to shrink themselves into the ground.
There was a wizard in a shabby robe sitting next to Professor Flitwick. When Andy looked over, he nodded at Andy.
Professor Flitwick also had a bright smile on his face, and he was saying something to the wizard in the shabby robe.
'Is that Remus Lupin?'
Andy raised an eyebrow and thought to himself, 'He doesn't look like he's doing well. Is he not in a good situation?'
After the Sorting ceremony was over, Dumbledore began his annual opening speech as usual.
Fortunately, Dumbledore was not like some other top leaders. His speech was very short. After a short welcome speech, it was time to introduce the new professor, Remus Lupin.
As Dumbledore announced, "The feast begins," all kinds of food appeared on the long table in the great hall.
"It's been three years and it's still the same food. There's really no innovation at all,"
Andy muttered. "When I become the headmaster, I'll send Hogwarts' house elves to study abroad at a culinary school to learn how to make all kinds of food from around the world."
Hermione raised an eyebrow. "That's a great idea. Andy, I support your decision!"
Andy laughed. "Then the funding for the study abroad will have to be approved by you, the Minister."
Hermione laughed and said, "You should ask the school board to pay for it."
"It's better to take double payment."
Andy shrugged, "Maybe I can embezzle some money."
Hermione rolled her eyes again.
Andy said with a mischievous look on his face, "Hermione, the Ministry of Magic's money belongs to the public, and it's only when it's in our pockets that it's our money."
Hermione snorted, "I'll lock you up in Azkaban sooner or later!"
"Don't be ridiculous! If you lock me up, you'll have to get me out again, and that's a lot of work!" Andy said.
The dinner was nothing new, but the young wizards had a lot of fun.
After being at home for so long, many of them missed the hustle and bustle of school life.
After the main course, a variety of desserts appeared on the long table, and the young wizards' conversation moved from their summer holidays to school life.
The topic for the third year was elective classes.
"Andy!"
Cedric suddenly came over and asked, "Do you need some advice from an older student?"
Andy smiled and said, "Thanks, but I've already made up my mind."
Cedric nodded and continued, "Andy, I came to tell you that I probably won't join the Dueling Club. Of course, it's very useful, and I've learned a lot of combat skills."
"It's just that... I need to prepare for the Ordinary Wizard Level Exam this year and need to focus all my energy on studying."
Andy nodded, "Of course the exams are important. I hope you get a good result."
"Thanks!" Cedric smiled.
After seeing Cedric off, Andy had another chat with Cho Chang.
In fact, Andy didn't want to hold the Dueling Club anymore.
Practicing duels with young wizards no longer helped Andy.
Andy's next duel opponents would be Sirius, Snape, and Dumbledore.
