Chapter 190 Conversations with Your Soul

Born...?

Harry's face flushed red, and he couldn't help but wonder a little if he had been born to be an evil Slytherin.

Maybe...he should have listened to the Sorting Hat and joined Slytherin House in the first place. That way, he wouldn't have caused so much trouble for Gryffindor.

"You don't have to be concerned, Harry."

Andy comforted, "Potter is a pureblood family, and pureblood families often intermarry with each other. You probably wouldn't believe it, but Ron and Malfoy are still related to each other."

Ron and Malfoy ... are related?

Were they related by mutual mockery?

Harry was blindsided on the spot while looking at Andy with a hopeful face.

He wanted to hear more of this type of talk so that he could deny in his mind that he was related to Slytherin.

"We shouldn't use birth to determine a person's quality, what kind of person we want to be, that's our own choice."

Andy transformed into a philosophical master, "It's like the Weasleys or your father. And of course, you ... chose to join Gryffindor, didn't you?"

Harry nodded with a look of agreement.

He looked at Andy admiringly, as if he were Andy's little fanboy.

"The Parseltongue is a great ability to use, it allows you to talk to snakes and control their actions," Andy said with slight envy.

Harry smiled bitterly, "I would rather not have an ability like that."

Andy opened the window and threw the little green snake out while quietly undoing the Imperius Curse.

"Harry, I want to learn Parseltongue!" Andy suddenly said.

"Andy, you...!"

Harry froze, "Why would you ... I mean, why would you want to learn Parseltongue?"

Andy smiled and explained, "After graduation, I plan to travel around the world and go on adventures all over the world. If I learn the Parseltongue, I'll have a group of little guys to help me scout the way when I enter the forest."

"Around the world?"

Harry said with an envious look on his face, "That's great, to be able to travel all over the world and see different places."

Harry suddenly thought about himself.

What would he do in the future?

Be a Quidditch player? Or join the Ministry of Magic and be an Auror fighting dark wizards?

Maybe travelling around the world would be nice!

"But..."

Harry shrugged with a helpless look on his face, "I'm not sure how I got the Parseltongue ability, and I don't know how to teach it to anyone else."

Andy laughed, "I have a solution, we just need to find a snake. When you face the snake, you'll unconsciously display the ability."

Harry nodded, "Okay! You have a point."

"Thanks!" Andy said.

"So when are you going to learn?" Harry asked.

"When you're not busy."

Andy thought for a moment, "This week there's a Quidditch team tryout, so by the time next week rolls around, you'll be training, right? Um...do you have time tomorrow?"

"Got time!" Harry said in no time.

"Tomorrow morning ... two o'clock in the afternoon, I'll be waiting for you in the abandoned classroom on the fifth floor, the one where I usually practice magic," Andy said happily.

"I know that place." Harry nodded.

"It's a secret between the two of us."

Andy suddenly warned, "The Parseltongue is related to Slytherin after all, you better not let anyone else know about it, or it will attract nasty comments."

"I understand!" Harry said quickly.

***

The seventh floor of the castle.

"Harry, see you tomorrow, good night."

"See you tomorrow, Andy!"

After saying goodbye to Harry, Andy went back to his dormitory to get a couple of newly purchased notebooks and quills before heading headlong into the Potions Room of the Room of Requirement.

The simmering of the Truth Potion is going very well.

Andy checked to make sure there were no problems and then reopened the door to the Room of Requirement.

'I need a room exactly like the Headmaster's Office.'

Walking into the copycatted Headmaster's Office, Andy didn't copy the book first, but sat down on the Headmaster's seat and pretended that he was the Hogwarts School Headmaster.

Fooling Harry ... succeeded!

As long as he learns the Parseltongue, he can open the door to the Slytherin Chamber of Secrets. Once the Basilisk was killed, it was possible to get the Slytherin research notes.

It would be a great fortune.

"The Parseltongue shouldn't be that easy to master, right?" Andy frowned slightly.

The system didn't have an option to improve language talent.

Andy thought of his previous life when he took the English IV exam, it was a gruelling time.

"Hmm..."

Andy pondered for a moment, "Maybe... I can buy a recording gadget."

"The Weasley twins should be able to do that, right?"

"In the case of a recording...how do I fool Harry into saying those keywords?"

Andy thought for a moment and finally decided to prepare twofold.

Who knows what to say when opening the Chamber of Secrets?

What if something really shameful needs to be said?

For example, praising Slytherin...

Rubbing his temples, Andy walked over to the bookshelf and picked out the book he was going to read next before taking out the one he had finished last time.

Taking out his wand, he cast a spell on the quill, and it automatically copied.

Andy also started reading the book.

The collection of books in the Headmaster's office was all-encompassing, and they all had two characteristics in common.

High-end! Dangerous!

The book Andy was reading was an introduction to the soul.

Conversations with Your Soul.

The soul, no matter what world it's in, it's a profound and taboo subject.

This was the first time Andy had seen a book related to the soul.

Within the system, there was also a [Soul] attribute.

Not counting the [Mind] attribute that was added subsequently, the initial value of Andy's [Soul] attribute was the highest.

Without a doubt, the soul was also related to magic.

It was only that Andy had not been able to find a connection between the two.

Even if Andy's [Soul] attribute was as high as [4] points, Andy did not feel that this attribute had any effect on him.

Andy expected this book to unravel the secrets of the soul.

One of the three Unforgivable Curses, the Imperius Curse, was magic that targeted the soul.

Soul Out of Body!

This curse can completely control another person.

So we can surmise that the soul is the basis for controlling everything, that is the source of thoughts, memories and emotions.

The author of this book states that he had someone else cast an Imperius Curse on him and then experienced the feeling in detail once.

The person who had been struck by the Imperius Curse would feel his mind go blank, then he would feel incredibly happy, and then there would be a voice telling the person who had been cursed to do something.

That feeling was hard to resist!

"Soul out of body?"

Andy inexplicably thought of the plot depicted in some novels, where the spirit goes out of the body and travels to the void.

The feeling would be very blissful to cope with as well, wouldn't it?

Andy flipped through the book, looking at the contents of the book word by word.

"It's worthy of being a grimoire that was purposely hidden by Dumbledore."

The research on souls in the book can simply be called anti-human.
