Chapter 115 Why didn’t Harry Potter become an Obscurial?

In the following week, Andy quieted his mind and carefully reviewed the first-year knowledge.

The Hogwarts exam was divided into two parts, the written exam, and the practical application.

There was no need for Andy to worry about the practical application, and his theoretical knowledge was also rich enough. The only part that Andy was currently lacking was the knowledge points that were not too important but had to be memorized.

As it turned out, the effort was still useful.

The exams for the Charms class and Transfiguration class went very smoothly, the written papers were quite simple, and the practical tests were not hard for Andy to deal with.

The practical test for the Charms class exam was to make a pineapple tap dance and walk across a table, and the practical part of the Transfiguration class exam was to turn a small chunk of wood into a button.

All of these were child's play for Andy.

On the Potions class exam afterwards, Snape tried to influence Andy's mindset by walking around behind him persistently, though. However, Andy is not affected at all and also did a very good job of making the potion, leaving Snape greatly disappointed.

The History of Magic exam was only a written test, which could be passed by rote memorization. The Flight Class and Astronomy Class exams were basically just a walk in the park for all students, as long as you weren't too out of touch, everyone would be able to get an O grade.

The only thing that made Andy somewhat bald was the Herbology class exam.

Herbology class and Potion class can be regarded as two courses that complement each other, it's just that Andy has been pursuing strength and has never thought of planting herbs in the future, so naturally, he is a bit unconcerned about this course.

If Andy had more practical skills than theoretical knowledge in other courses, then in the Herbology class, his theoretical knowledge was greater than his practical skills.

The practical handling of this course could only be practised in class, even if Andy wanted to review it, he did not have the opportunity to do so.

Looking at Professor Sprout's less-than-satisfied gaze, Andy could only keep his eyes averted and try to minimize his presence.

The good thing is that on the whole, Andy felt that his exam results this time were quite good, and there should be no one in the first year whose results could surpass his own, except for Hermione, the BUG.

***

The holiday was not immediately after the exams, and the young wizards had to continue to stay at Hogwarts until the school announced the results of the exams.

So for the next few days, the entire Hogwarts appeared to be on edge.

Exam report cards are meant to be taken home and shown to parents, and even the most mischievous students can only pray that Merlin will grant the professor blindness and allow them to see their incorrect answers as correct answers at this time.

The Weasley twins also took the opportunity to make a kind of amulet, which is said to be able to improve exam results, which was a hot buy for a while, and they made a lot of money.

Needless to say, these two were really talented.

George and Fred's academic performance can only be regarded as middle to upper, but they are very talented in making artefacts.

It was just a pity that their mother, Molly Weasley, had always considered this kind of thing to be unprofessional, and quite a lot of times had punished the two of them because of it.

Andy felt sad when he thought about it.

Molly Weasley is the daughter of a pureblood family and in her concept, it is the right way to go to work in the Ministry of Magic after graduation, so researching the production of magic items has become an inappropriate career.

This is just like in the ancient feudal society of China, only the imperial examination is the right way, and the development of science and technology has become bizarre skills, not only not valued, but also in the middle and lower levels of the social contempt chain.

It was no wonder that most of the young wizards didn't bother to study magic, after all, apart from Auror, a lot of the work in the Ministry of Magic had nothing to do with 'magic'.

They only needed to master the common spells used in life, and that would be enough to cope with their life in the future.

In the wizarding world in the era of peace, gold galleons were more useful than magic.

That was why Andy had always believed that although the establishment of the Ministry of Magic had established order in the wizarding world, it had hindered the development of magic.

The difference between the merits and demerits is just a matter of opinion.

The good thing is that Andy does not have the idea of reforming the wizarding world, the Dark Lord is not so good career, not to mention laborious, and there is also little to no benefit to oneself.

"If nothing else, this semester's House Cup should belong to us Ravenclaws!"

On the way to the library, Hermione kept chattering, "We lost at Quidditch, but we have the highest house points and our exam results should be better than the other three houses."

"It's a good thing that it was Gryffindor who won the Quidditch Cup this year, their house points were already low, and even if we add in the Quidditch scores, they're still at the bottom of the four houses."

The young witch had a great sense of collective honour, and the only thing she cared about most right now, besides her own exam scores, was the ownership of the House Cup.

"No wonder Professor Snape has been looking at me unfavourably lately."

Andy realized, "If Slytherin wins the House Cup this semester, it could be their seventh consecutive championship. Seven is a magical number in the wizarding world."

Hermione glanced at Andy, she had also noticed recently that there was something not quite right about the way Snape was looking at Andy.

"Why is he targeting you?"

The young witch asked curiously, "I mean, winning the House Cup is a victory for all of us Ravenclaws."

"Maybe I've offended him before! Or maybe, I'm the most representative?" Andy scratched his head.

Hermione gave Andy another look, "I'm not surprised."

Andy: "..."

Soon, the library arrived.

A few days before the exams, there were no seats vacant in the library.

After the exams, it was only Andy and Hermione who still insisted on coming to the library to read.

Madam Pince noticed Andy and Hermione at a glance.

Andy sighed, now there would be no chatting.

The little witch was also very well-behaved, picking out a book without saying a word, finding a spot without saying a word, and reading without saying a word.

Even the footsteps were kept to a minimum.

If there was anyone within Hogwarts who dared not to give Dumbledore some face, then apart from Madam Pomfrey in the school Hospital Wing, there was only the librarian - Madam Pince - left.

A seemingly sign-in novel sweeper-like existence.

Even Andy didn't quite dare to provoke the two of them.

Andy was still reading books about the Patronus Charm, and even though Andy still had no clue about how to upgrade the magic, Andy had always insisted on his initial judgment.

The potential of this magic was definitely more than that.

It was just that the contents of these books were all pretty much the same, and were basically of little help to Andy.

Andy quickly skimmed through them, and then closed the books with disappointment.

Have read in vain!

Finding another book that recorded Obscurus, Andy carefully flipped through it.

The records about Obscurus in the book were not much different from those books that he had read before. It was nothing more than the little wizard who suffered from abuse developed negative emotions and a certain unknown change occurred in their magic power.

Andy scratched his head bitterly...

When it comes to suffering abuse ... Hasn't Harry suffered enough abuse at his aunt's house?

Harry may not have hated his aunt and uncle, but he wasn't without other negative emotions.
