The sun was setting over the small village of Ottery St. Catchpole, casting a warm orange glow over the thatched roofs and the bustling streets. In a small cottage on the outskirts of the village, Ethan Blackwood was sitting by the fireplace, staring at the flames as they danced and crackled. He had been waiting for what felt like an eternity for the letter that would change his life forever.

Suddenly, a loud knock at the door broke the silence. Ethan's heart raced as he jumped up to answer it. He flung open the door to reveal a tall, stern-looking owl perched on a pedestal, holding a white envelope in its beak. The owl gazed at Ethan with wise, ancient eyes before speaking in a soft, rumbling hoot, "Ethan Blackwood, you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

Ethan's eyes widened as he took the envelope, his hands trembling with excitement. He tore it open, and a puff of glittering silver smoke escaped, carrying with it the sweet scent of magic. The letter inside was embossed with the Hogwarts crest and read:

"Dear Mr. Blackwood,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You are one of the select few who possess the gift of magic, and we look forward to helping you hone your skills.

Please report to Platform 9 3/4 on September 1st to board the Hogwarts Express.

Ethan's heart soared as he read the letter over and over, the words sinking deep into his soul. He was going to Hogwarts!
