96 Chapter 96 - Division of Forces

On the following day, Asmodeus approached Rovena with a question, "Rovena, we need you for the council meeting."

"Already? It's not even 10 o'clock yet, and the meeting starts at 11."

"I know, but before that, I wanted to ask you something. I've been curious for a while, but I always forget to inquire. How were wizard levels divided in your time? I'm interested in where Odin stands compared to our assessment system."

"Oh? You don't know?"

"Not that I'm completely clueless. I understand where the dividing lines of levels are, but I don't know the names of the wizard levels."

"Let me start from the beginning then. Throughout our history, great mages in our world adhered to a specific system of division."

Wizard: In the past, merely being a "wizard" was a prerequisite for admission to a magic school – those born with Mana and experiencing magical surges.

High Wizard: Those who have achieved significant success in magic, individuals who graduate from Hogwarts are considered at this level. By the way, Aurors are also at this level. No matter how well-trained an Auror is, they remain simply a more powerful High Wizard.

Master Wizard: To put it more simply, at this level, you find the four heads of Hogwarts. Each is strong in their own specialization, but even an herbologist at this level can easily handle a team of Aurors.

Grand Wizard: Currently, Godric and Helga are at this level; they haven't quite reached the level of Archmage. However, even at this level, no matter how many Aurors or Master Wizards there are, it won't affect them. Strength assessment: capable of single-handedly destroying a small town or village.

Archwizard: This is the level where you, I, Albus, Nicholas, Grindelwald, and Salazar currently reside. I don't need to explain how powerful we all are, right? We can easily annihilate a large city, and some can even battle armies alone."

"What comes after Archwizard?"

"I'm not sure... I only know that the prefixes don't change, and beyond Wizard, people referred to themselves as Enchanters."

"By that logic, it would be.... Enchanter, High Enchanter, Master Enchanter, Grand Enchanter, Archenchanter?"

"Well, something like that..."

"...."

"Alright, forget it. I think Odin is way beyond Archenchanter..."

"Yes, I've never seen a wizard who could cast a spell equal to the swing of Odin's sword."

"I believe we'll reach his level someday."

"I never doubted that."

"Haha."

"Okay, let's go to the meeting... Oh, why did I establish this wizard council... listening to these reports is so tiresome."

"Are you unhappy being, in fact, the emperor of the planet!? Wow, that's audacious."

"Oh, come on, I'm not unhappy. It's just that I'm lazy..."

Saying this, Asmodeus took Rovena by the arm, and they headed towards Adastra, leaving Hogwarts. They didn't fly or ride on broomsticks; they simply walked slowly, talking about anything that came to mind.

Thirty minutes later, Asmodeus and Rovena were already seated around the round table. Today's meeting had not only the members of the upper chamber of the wizard council but also the entire lower chamber surrounding them.

"Well, since everyone is in their places, let's begin. Each of you received a folder of documents yesterday. They contained various types of magic that we, along with the elders, acquired in exchange for helping people from another world. Today, I would like to determine the types of magic that we can quickly introduce into the world and find practical applications, especially in agriculture, construction, and transportation. These three areas concern me the most at this stage."

After hearing Asmodeus, someone from the lower chamber spoke, "Mr. Morningstar, on behalf of the Transportation Development Department, I request your permission to transfer the task of optimizing 'portal' magic to the Research Department. Our specialists have already tried to study how to integrate our teleportation magic with the portal magic of Kamar Taj, but we encountered a problem. We can't stabilize the new type of portal in a specific location permanently... it either disappears or goes somewhere else... too dependent on the wizard using the machine. Our goal is to establish a stable transportation system. So, we would like to ask you to transfer the task to the magic research department."

"Alright... The Research Department will take on this task."

Research Group: "No!!! We want to rest!!!"

And one can understand them. After returning from the Marvel world, Asmodeus and the other Archwizards each chose 2-3 books and started their research aimed at improving their personal combat abilities, almost ignoring the needs of the world. Now, most of the research related to improving living conditions and quality of life is carried out by people from the research group.

"The Agriculture Department requests permission to use mirror space magic to increase the breeding area for livestock."

"Approved. But why? Doesn't the spatial expansion spell solve the problem?"

"There is no problem with land, but if the description is correct, we can save on building pens and enclosures for livestock."

"Alright, permission granted. But I designate the territories from Hogwarts to the Elysium Academy as a restricted zone in the mirror dimension. Don't go there!"

"Okay, I'll inform all future workers!"

"Oh, Chairman of the council, the Urban Planning Department has a question. Can we refrain from installing portal systems in other parts of Adastra until a ready new version of portals appears?"

"It depends on how long it will take for our department to optimize the portals. If it's more than a month, there's no need to wait further. Install our standard portals. They're not that far behind the ones used by Kamar Taj. Just leave space for the old portal variant during construction; it's much more demanding in terms of size and materials."

"Yes, sir!"

So, over the next couple of hours, Asmodeus and the council determined where and how new types of magic could be applied as soon as possible to improve the quality of life for the population. When the meeting ended, Asmodeus and Rovena headed to the Tower of Magi.....
