Leave Aragog alone!

I grinned at him. "I am a wizard! And I don't need wands to prove it."

Saying that, I unloaded another huge load of meat, and waved at him. "My offering of peace, Aragog. I won't be here for the next few days. I have a Lethifold to look for, but I will make sure the Basilisk knows not to hurt you and the five chosen. Fare thee well."

"You are different, Serpent. If I offered one of my children, can you take his form? It would be my honour to call you kin."

I thought about it, as I can have a ritual on my tenth birthday. I still, need have a few creatures that I want to become, like the Horned Serpent, the Thestrals, Griffins and Chimera, Nundu or Wampus, and few other cool forms, whose abilities would be quite useful, in other worlds.

"I would be honoured to call you my kin, Aragog." And I bowed before him deeply.

The Aurors didn't understand what that meant, as one of them asked, "You can become other creatures?" I looked at him, and said, "Sure! A Dragon, a Thunderbird or a Kraken. Which one would you like to see?"

They were shocked. "A dragon?" One of them said, and I turned before their eyes.

"Fascinating!"

I smiled and flew with them, to the grounds, where Horace Slughorn was discussing with Dumbledore, as the other Aurors stood far away from the Basilisk. I flew towards her, and said, "I made a magical pact with the king of the Spider nest. He agreed to us hunting his children, as long as we spare him and five of his chosen."

She looked disgruntled. "We are the Kings and Queens of our kin. We don't need permission from lesser beings to hunt them. They should be grateful, when we rip them into shreds, and feast on their flesh."

I sighed, "We don't need their permission, true. But what if they ran away, when they saw their deaths are imminent. Or what if they attacked other delicious prey in the forest. How would you get the feast on them, if the spiders eat everything to increase their numbers? And if you eat the entire nest, to the last spider, what would eat the next day? Isn't it better to keep some of them alive, so we can eat delicious spiders for a long time?"

She hummed, and rubbed her mucousy skin on my head, "You are a wise boy. I will agree to your oaths. You feed me fresh meat."

I smiled and cleaned my head of the dripping goo. I then asked for a large bucket full of warm water, and used a giant coarse brush, to help Hagrid clean her skin of the mucous.

The Aurors left after getting their reports, though there are bound to be a lot of gossips, about a true Pureblood boy, who tamed a giant sixty foot Basilisk, who is the Monster of Salazar Slytherin himself.

And my parents, who were both in Slytherin, and gifted wizards and witches, while I can fly wandlessly, speak parselmouth, and even turn into a dragon and a Basilisk, while caring for giant creatures, who respect me.

If I played my part correctly, I would be seen as the Antithesis of everything Lord Voldemort stood for, and I can be the beacon of the new era, where magical society flourishes without inequality and bias.

I had planned this all along, and therefore, I had began to be blatant with my skills and talent.

My tenth birthday was coming up, and I had a few creatures I wanted to get for my Skin-changing ritual.

I had managed to gather Graphorn, Demiguise, Occamy and a reticulated python for my ritual, and with with an Acromantula added to the mix, it would be five creatures, which given my own human form, and four other forms, would be exactly ten.

I had some other rituals, to enhance speed, reflexes, and resistance which would be milder and less enhancing versions of the rituals, I did at seven. But they would build up in potency, over each other.

As I approached tenth birthday, I remembered, I was putting meeting Sybil Trelawney off, for quite some time. So, I told my parents, who were now respected teachers at the school, now that the term has started with a flourish, that I will be out for the day.
