3. THE ENCOUNTER - PART 2.

At the Parking Lot:

"Enough with checking on your face, you're already beautiful," Sarah said.

"I'm hoping on meeting a nice guy this time, at least at this party," said Lucy.

"Mmhmm, you hope," said Sarah smirking.

"Who knows! maybe you'll find him too..."

"Stop now. Get in the car," said Sarah with a lowered voice.

Lucy understood what she did. She made Sarah feel insecure about her partner again. While Lucy was thinking of ways to make her smile again, Sarah whispered his name, "Eric..."

Meanwhile...:

"Hey, get in the car!" said Andy, pushing Eric into the car.

"Alright, alright, I'm going in!" said Eric rolling his eyes.

There was pin-drop silence the whole ride, but when Andrew interrupted at Eric's whispers in his head, saying,

"Thinking of her again? " Eric glared at him, looking angry. Wow... his question made him mad even more. Now, he thought of her once again. 'Sarah, Sarah Williams.'

Now, these both loved each other a lot, and they realized it only after they two became adults. Eric loved to see her. He bet she was pretty still, as she was when a child. Now, they're longing for each other's warm hugs and care. Looking out to the window, both said, at the same time, "This shall pass too," smiling at the moon which was full and bright.

Flashback:

"Hey, I'm totally angry at the fact that she was bullied, and those bullies hadn't got any punishment, instead were sent off, transferred to another school." said a classmate of Eric to him.

"Who was bullied?"

"Sarah, your neighbor." said the classmate.

"What!?"

He found himself running down to her, and she was not in the classroom. If she was not in the classroom, the only place she would be at now will be the rooftop. When he went up there, she was sitting at the corner, dressing the wounds she got from being bullied herself. He caught her by her elbow, and asked, "Does it pain?"

"A little."

"Don't lie," said Eric. And before he could speak out, he found himself in her arms. She was holding him tightly, hugging him., and crying out loudly.

He flustered and blushed to his extreme level, because, he never touched a girl, and now, found himself being hugged by her. He liked her way back then. Then he got himself into his senses and hushed her not to cry, and said,

"This shall pass too."

And there she was, her face all red, and she looked cute too.

Flashback End.

At the party

Well, no denying, there were people who were beautiful. everyone had their partners, this made Sarah more annoying. Because everywhere she looked or went to the party, there were couples. At the balcony there were a couple kissing, at the stairs, doing something, Sarah didn't know any of what they were doing. She was so innocent. Lucy did never want to destroy her innocence because she knew that Sarah will know once she finds her partner. Sarah was disgusted to her core this time but remained calm as she knew that she came here because Lucy requested her. She was like a ticking bomb. Anyone just bothers her, she might explode, and she herself knew that she was ill-tempered. But, she gave out a smile and spoke to everyone who talked to her.

And here was Eric, managing himself with his grandfather's friends and the shareholders of the company and some of the mafia too. It was too much to manage everything on his own, and that brat Andrew ran away, leaving him all alone. He is to be dead once he appears in front of him.

He somehow got out of control and spotted a woman on his right corner. There she was, Sarah Williams, his sweetheart, whom he has been searching for for almost two years. She was beautiful in that dress. But, she seemed like she was struggling with people talking to her. She felt funny to him. He gave out a bright smile upon seeing her. She did not change from what she was at all.

Just when he was about to go towards her, he felt a hand on him. It was Andrew.

"Where'd you go leaving me all alone, you fucker!?" shouted Eric, frustrated.

But, for some reason, Andrew seemed calm and sad. He was never like this. Whenever Eric shouts at him, he always defended himself or shout back at him or at least would joke around.

"G-Grandfather... Grandfather died," said Andrew, shivering. Because he knew that Eric would go crazy at this news.

"What are you talking about? Why would that goofball die?" Asked Eric annoyed.

"It's for real," said Andrew.

There was silence for a bit, and Andrew found himself alone, when Eric ran towards the car, running down to the mansion, to his grandfather.

And there was more waiting for Sarah too.
