10 Chapter 10 His favorite

Tang Ning hadn't expected to run into her boss just now. When she reached him, she bowed her head and said," Welcome back Mr Jing Yue." He nodded and said," Thank you. Are they sleeping?" "Yes," she replied nodding her head. "Are you comfortable with your room?" he asked. "Yes very. Infact I feel like it's extra but I will eventually get used to it," she said and he nodded before climbing the stairs. "Have a good night Mr Jing Yue," she said. "Good night too," she heard him reply. As she walked towards her room, she couldn't deny the fact that he smelled so good. His cologne must be very expensive, she thought. It felt so calm and gentle, just like him.

When she closed the door to her room, she ran to bounce on her bed and she giggled. It was so soft, big and comfortable. She then remembered to check her phone and found a number of missed calls from her father and Daiyu but she decided that she was calling them after having a bath. After changing into her PJ's, she got in the bed and called her father first, then Daiyu. When she was done, she laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling of the room.

When she woke up, she looked at the wall clock to see that it was coming to eight in the morning. She immediately got up and cursed.

The bed was so comfortable that she failed to wake up! She ran off to the bathroom and brushed her teeth hurriedly before washing her face and changed to her clothes. She hurriedly left her room and ran off to the twins rooms. Opening little Huan's room, she found Ms Fang waking her and she went to Juan's room. Luckily, she found him heading to the shower.

"Good morning little Juan," she greeted. "Good morning," he replied before asking," Did you go with my book?" "Yes. I was passing through it," she replied. "Are you still on your promise? You're going to teach me how to cook?" he asked. "Of course but first, let's have you bathed," she said heading to the bathroom. "You're going to bathe me?" he asked. "Yes. Why not?" she asked turning to look at him. "That is for Huan not me. I am grown up," he said. "But you're the same age as little Huan," she said.

"I know but I am the man here," he said. "Alright then. I will wait for you here," she said and he nodded before going to the bathroom. After making his bed, she checked in his closet for his uniforms and laid them on the bed.

She then rushed to Huan's room and found Ms Fang helping her get dressed.

"I'm so sorry I failed to wake up early," she said apologetically. "You were not late. This is the time they prepare for school," replied Ms Fang. "Really?" she asked. "Absolutely," she replied.

When both the kids were done with dressing, they went downstairs for breakfast.

As Tang Ning was going to eat, she heard footsteps and turned to see Mr Jing Yue making way to the dining room.

She hadn't expected him to still be at home.

"Good morning," he greeted before walking to his children and kissed each of them.

"You're not having breakfast?" Ms Fang asked when he didn't sit. "I won't be able. I have to rush to the company," he replied before looking at the kids and said," Take care."

When they got done with breakfast, Tang Ning sat with them in the car and the chauffeur drove them to school. Reaching the kids' kindergarten, she walked them inside and she bent over to kiss little Huan. Just as she was going to kiss Juan, he ran inside.

Getting back to the house,Tang Ning realized that she was idle and she decided to take a short nap.At around afternoon when she went to the kitchen,she found Ms Fang and she said," Good afternoon. You were sleeping?"

"Yes I got bored. Thank you for helping me with little Huan in the morning," she said.

"It's nothing. I just want to make sure that you get everything before I get to leave." "You're leaving?" Tang Ning asked. "Yes," she replied before adding," I'm leaving next week," she replied. "Oh. That really surprised me," she said. "Yeah. You came to get something to eat?" she asked. "Yes and to also bake some cookies for the twins. They liked them yesterday," she said. "Alright. I will leave the kitchen to you," she said before leaving.

In the evening as Tang Ning left the room together with little Huan, they walked towards the dining room and she was surprised to see Mr Jing Yue present at the table. Little Huan on seeing her father, ran towards him. "Daddy!" she exclaimed as she ran to him.

He turned to look at her with a smile and carried her onto his lap. "I didn't know you had come back," she said. "Where were you?" he asked. "I was with Pretty auntie in her room," she replied. "Okay. Let's eat," he said. "But I don't want to unless if you're going to feed me while I'm sitting here," she said. "Sure," he said and picked some food to feed her.

"Tang Ning," she was called and she tore her eyes away from the father and daughter to look at Ms Fang who was gesturing for her to sit. She hadn't thought that she would be allowed to share a table with the family members. As she was eating, her eyes would constantly look at her boss who was feeding his daughter and it was evident that she was his favorite. Seeing them, she couldn't help but miss her father. She turned to look at little Juan who was barely fazed by the fact that his twin sister was feeding onto their father's lap. She decided to go back to eating her own food.
