Avery's POV

The shivers of the passionate kiss we shared were still active on my body, as I sat on the balcony of my bedroom thinking about it and blushing, in the middle of the night.

Tahi had been so shamelessly demanding to squeeze everything out of me, and squealing like she was watching a movie on the slight details I gave her.

He dropped me home later on, and I chose to arrange our second meeting. Which was just basically another dinner, but at my father's yacht.

My dad was determined for me to not wander in public places for presently. So, discreet places were the only option for us.

Two weeks had passed at a torturing pace, I discovered little things about him such as he hates texting. He'd rather call me and make me suffer with his enchanting voice.

"I am afraid I am keeping you up." His rugged whisper sent shivers down my spine. Who knew people could sound sexy on a phone call?

"You're not. How was work?" I asked twirling a strand in my finger, partially nervous about our interactions lately.

"Demanding." He sighed into the call, making me huff too. He sounded tired but there's seriously some issue with masculine ego, that half of the time they refuse to accept it.

"You should sleep, mister." I asserted firmly. It was too late for either of us to be awake anyways. I just couldn't find my sleep without hearing his voice.

It's foolishly strange in such a short period, he had become the highlight of my days.

"So should you." He repeated and I rolled my eyes. We spoke for a while more before he was off to sleep since he had a video conference early in the morning.

I might have slept asleep while losing myself in thoughts because when my eyes opened coming in contact with the sun's rays. I was still there where I was last night.

"Avyyyyy." A squeal of mischievous monsters alerted me and I laughed sliding up and stepping inside my master bedroom.

I was attacked by them as they hugged the life out of me once I was on my knees.

"We missed you." They said in unison, I smiled kissing their cheeks.

"Aw, I missed you too little guys." I giggled. My niece and nephew were the most adorable kids, they looked like little Giovanni. Same eyes and the same hair.

"Eww did you not brush your teeth your mouth stinks." Daniel frowns sassily, scrunching his face in pure disgust and crossing his arms. One thing about the little guy is he hates bad smells and unarranged stuff.

I didn't know if I should be laughing or scowling because that was pretty rude.

"Your mistakes Mister. You jumped at me as soon as I woke up." I pinched his nose and he stepped back.

"Are you going with Mister Charming again?" Dasha pried me.

I decided I wanted to spend the weekend with him, at his Mansion in Long Island and to my surprise, he was satisfied with the idea. The kids overheard me chatting with their mother and I called Aaren charming, ever since they've been hell bound to meet him.

"I am yes." I smiled at the excitement bubbling inside of me.

"I want to come too," Dasha demanded with no room for argument.

"No, you don't missy." Amelia walked in scowling at her daughter.

"Do you know Avery some people ran away making an excuse to avoid showering? She grimaced playfully. I laughed glancing at them as they tucked their heads.

"He came up with the plan." Dasha pointed to her brother innocently giving us doe eyes.

"Whatever, now come here. You'll be late for school." She scolded grabbing their hands gently.

"See ya wild girl. Dress up sexy." She whispered the last part in my ears making me turn red.

It took me a good few hours to get ready counting the times I've tripped hurrying over everything. The thoughts of the freedom that comes along with him, were making my mind go haywire. My dad had never trusted me to this extent, all to myself.

Who am I kidding, everything had flipped fantastically as soon as the subject of our dating started. Well, I didn't like the attention that came with it but it certainly made the mischievous parts of me proud.

Talk about the other day at the mall, I was ambushed by the media who had a shit ton of weird questions. Those people are such dramatic fools, they even assumed I am pregnant.

Once, I double-checked everything from head to toe. I grabbed my handbag and walked out of the room to say goodbye to my family.

"Scott please take my bags to the lobby." I requested that the guard who stood by the first-floor entrance. He nodded politely.

I sprinted down the stairs with excited steps, bubbling with newfound joy.

"Hey, dad." I smiled entering the living room where my dad sat beside my mother listening as she ranted about the Cruise trip she wanted to go on.

"My kiddo." My dad grinned spreading his arms wide for me. I stepped up to hug him smiling widely.

"How're you today huh?" He asked, kissing my head softly.

"I am good, dad. Thought I'd say goodbye before I left for the trip." I said glancing at my mum who had a bored expression on her face but still stood up with a phoney smile.

"Don't rush to have sex yet alright." She advised making my face heat up with embarrassment.

"Have some respect my God." My dad rolled his eyes.

"Don't mind her sweetheart, take care alright." He caressed my face I hugged him one last time before nodding and jogging to the entrance. He'll be here any minute.

"Running away with your lover." I heard Chad's amusing voice behind me as he teased.

"Shut up," I scoffed crossing my arms.

"I know I know you're mad." He says referring to the dinner I arranged for us all to go with Aaren and he cancelled last minute.

"Next time you do that, it won't be easy." I kissed his cheek punching him in the stomach.

"Fuck." He cursed laughing maniacally waving his hands pretending he wasn't hurt.

"Love you crazy." I heard him yell behind me but I didn't reply to give him a lesson to not mess with my promises again.

The second I stepped out a bright black car was parked right outside our gate, where Scott was loading my small bag in the trunk.

The front door opened and my heartbeat intensified to crazy heights as he stepped out. Dressed in a black button-up and beige pants, with those sexy sunglasses resting on his handsome face.

I strode up to him and he did the same until we were face to face, breath to breathe and so dangerously close. I smiled while taking off his glasses, and he didn't object.

"Don't hide your eyes, I love them," I whispered kissing his cheeks.

"Hi," I murmured into his ears, only for him to shoot me back with the same vigour, as he slid his arm around my back pulling me right against him.

He glanced down with his gorgeous captivating eyes, his skin too ivory for the sunshine as it reflected like pearls.

It was when he dipped down his head my breath hitched. He captured my lips like he was claiming them, and I kissed him back with all the fire of impatient frustration within me, and my knees wobbled.

His sensual tongue clashed with mine so ferociously that I lost the battle he challenged me with, as he fiddled with my mouth and lips well.

He sucked my lips shutting down my mind to only focus on wanting more, and he cupped my face pressing himself against me. I felt him, aroused and thick which made me pull back in shyness.

Oh my goodness, I just made out with a guy right outside my house. How ironic!

"I missed you." He huffed, his head leaning on mine as he smirked down at me. I bit my lips trying to stop myself from blushing.

"Did you miss me Avery huh?" He teased and I tapped my chin.

"Nah." I shrugged moving away and putting on my glasses. I heard him chuckle and he followed me to open the door. I slid inside buckling up, as he did the same.

Once he was inside, his hands reached to squeeze my thighs, leaning towards my ear, it was quite a distracting act.

"Next time I'll make sure you do." He licked my earlobe and I fought back a moan.

"Eyes on the road mister." I clapped and he just stared ahead driving down the street effortlessly.

I stared at him while he drove his other hand resting calmly by the window. To be less creepy, I averted my gaze occasionally to keep it on the road passing by the occupied streets of New York.

I agree some people don't like the glitter and glamour, but that's the grace of New York and honestly, I find it impressive. Every place has its beauty.

"Song?" He perks a brow at me. I shook my head contemplating everything that was happening.

"I thought you were happy with this idea." He mumbles quizzically.

"I am." I smiled turning my attention over to him.

"That's a relief." He says and I chuckled at him. I yawned feeling the exhaustion of being awake all night dawn on me.

"You can sleep if you want." He glances my way. I fought my will to be awake, but the sudden headache said otherwise.

"Wake me up in a while. I didn't eat anything in the mess." I muttered cursing myself for forgetting the food.

"Will do." He nodded in agreement. I glanced in the mirror to see the cars has started to follow out in front and back. I signed knowing well I wasn't to go anywhere, especially out of the city without security.

"Sleep Avery." He whispers shifting the seat for me in a swift and I landed backwards rapidly hitting my head.

"Now, I can sleep well," I grunted hearing him laugh, whilst I laid my hands over my eyes to prevent the daylight.

It was late into the afternoon when I woke up, the car was parked nearby a highway bar and restaurant. I rubbed my eyes tilting my head to see and sighed at the sight of Aaren ambling out of the cafeteria. He had two food bags which instantly made me hungrier than I previously was.

"Here's your food. How did you sleep?" He asked, handing me the bags full of fresh food.

"Duh, I slept fine. But I care more about food." I laughed and he grinned shifting my seat again to make me comfortable. He handed me some tissues.

"We can eat inside if that's what you prefer." He says.

"I am good here." I smiled at him. My eyes sparkled at the burger, and I let the taste corrupt my tastebuds.

"My goodness, it's delicious," I said a mouthful of the savoury flavour.

"It is." Nodding he takes a big hit of his hotdog. Once we were done eating we were on the road again.

The City is long gone, replaced with the highway scenery shimmering with natural enlightenment. I am not a fan of road trips, but this was certainly special.

"Tell me something about your parents Aaren," I asserted seeing him spin to a tight-lipped more all of a sudden. Then he smiled, lost in what I guess were beautiful memories.

"I wish I was like them." That's all he said and something in his rugged whisper told me he was gloomy on that topic. My heart broke for him, knowing well he was masking his suffering.

Because nobody ever recovers from losing a parent. I can't even imagine what I'll do if something is to happen to my dad or mum. I'd lose my mind.

"I am sorry, I don't want to spoil anything for you now." He forced a smile, and I nodded reaching out.

"I understand. I am not going anywhere." Saying I grabbed his hand and squeezed it in assurance, promising myself I won't force him to tell me something he isn't ready for.

"Thanks," he cleared his throat. To reduce the awkwardness at the moment, I connected my phone to the audio system playing a random song.

"How long till we reach there?" I huffed kicking off my shoes, they started to annoy my toes.
