His hands on mine

"Come!" his authoritative voice pissed me off even more. He drags me to the police car, gripping both my shoulders to steady me. "You know what?!" I stopped midway and looked at him with sarcasm etched on my face. "For a cop who has strong legs like you, I wonder what took you so long to catch me?" I laugh a little to annoy him. He should be clenching his teeth now as I sure as hell affected his ego, but instead, he flashed me with a million dollar smile. He leaned down to whisper in my ear "It's because I like watching your ass while you run." I jerked my shoulders away from him as I look at him with pure hate in my eyes "Asshole." I muttered that made him laugh even more, and I never felt so defeated in my life until then. DISCLAIMER: Everything you are about to read in this book is a product of my imagination. Daisy:

Adam puts a spoonful of the sweet strawberry cake in his mouth and closed his eyes to savor the taste of it. I watch as he chews and I also chew on my nails as I wait in anticipation.

"How does it taste?" Sophia asked him.

We both waited for Adam to reply. He swallowed the last bite as he nods slowly and smiled "This one is good. Take it."

I smiled too, it was my first choice, strawberry is sweet but not too much. "Oh, I'm glad you liked it." I exhaled deeply.

"I told you, you can pick anything you like." He said.

"Nope. It's our wedding. Your opinion matters too." I said and wiped the icing on the corner of his mouth.

"She's right, Adam. We all know you love Daisy, but you have to cooperate too." Sophia walked towards the wine section and we followed her.

"Fine. It's just, too feminine." Adam looked around and Sophia and I both laughs.
