His hands on mine

"Come!" his authoritative voice pissed me off even more. He drags me to the police car, gripping both my shoulders to steady me. "You know what?!" I stopped midway and looked at him with sarcasm etched on my face. "For a cop who has strong legs like you, I wonder what took you so long to catch me?" I laugh a little to annoy him. He should be clenching his teeth now as I sure as hell affected his ego, but instead, he flashed me with a million dollar smile. He leaned down to whisper in my ear "It's because I like watching your ass while you run." I jerked my shoulders away from him as I look at him with pure hate in my eyes "Asshole." I muttered that made him laugh even more, and I never felt so defeated in my life until then. DISCLAIMER: Everything you are about to read in this book is a product of my imagination. Daisy:

Two days ago, I finally filed my resignation, Mr. Wheeler was hesitant to sign it at first but eventually gave in when I told him I'm becoming a mother. He was happy. Catherine was happy and Adam was elated. It was his idea after all.

Me? I am happy too. It was liberating.

I just arrived home after meeting Sophia. Adam's friend would help me with the wedding planning. She's quite nice. She pays attention to the things I like. She just sent me an email consisting of the things we were able to plan so far, she also attached our tomorrow's schedule for the food tasting.

I was able to move freely, to plan freely, and to take in the idea that I will be married soon.

I smiled to myself as I open Sophia's email. It was stunning. Her ideas and my ideas collaborate well and I can see now what it will look like and I know it will be perfect.
