"I...," Sky wasn't used to being suddenly embraced by Dray like this. His cold masculine scent overwhelmed him, making his heart race for a moment. Involuntarily, the image of the man from the club that night flashed in his mind. He quickly averted his gaze, afraid to meet Dray's scorching eyes. "What, what are you talking about? This is my ring, it has always been mine!" Sky deliberately ignored Dray's deep questioning and fumbled to retrieve his ring from his hand. He couldn't face this question head-on. The experience at the Nightshade Club was the past he least wanted to mention in front of others. However, before Sky's fingertips could touch the black obsidian diamond ring, Dray snatched it back.
