Chapter 78- Shock!!!
Bubbly's POV:-
We are waiting for Arjun to come and give us a piece of news.
But suddenly, we heard the siren of " CODE BLUE!!! CODE BLUE!!! " from Di's room.
We got panicked and ran towards her room.
But some nurses stopped us from entering, and we waited outside.
We looked inside they were giving di a shock.
We saw di's abdominal skin, which has old whip marks.
I hissed when I saw that.
These marks showed the torture my di faced.
Tears are flowing from my eyes, seeing my di like this.
But I can't lose her. I know I am being selfish, but I need her.
I turned towards Arjun and caught him through his collar.
" WHAT DID YOU SAID TO MY DI THAT SHE SUDDENLY GOT UNSTABLE? " I yelled.
" Di, please believe me. I didn't say anything wrong to her. I was just trying to wake her up. I didn't do anything to di. I swear. " Arjun said while crying.
" Bullsh*t! You must have said something to her. That's the reason she is behaving like this. Tell me, what did you say to her? " I asked rudely.
Suddenly, the door opened, and Dr. Harsh Vardhan came out fully covered in sweat.
" Dr. Harsh Vardhan, how is my di? Is she okay? " I asked worriedly.
He looked at me and gulped.
I got nervous.
" Teja is alright now. She got conscious too, and she is now responding to our medicines too. " Dr. Harsh Vardhan said, and we sighed in relief.
" Luckily, those drugs didn't affect Teja's hindbrain. So, she can live a normal life. But, for two to three months, she needs to take care of herself, and she can't do overwork. " Dr. Harsh Vardhan instructed, and we nodded happily.
" Can I meet her? You told us that she gained consciousness, right? " I asked curiously.
After all, I am dying to meet her.
He got nervous and said, " No, she wants to meet Arjun first. "
We all looked at Arjun with shock.
What has he said to my sister that she wants to meet him first?
" Alright, then I will meet her. " Arjun said and entered inside, ignoring our stairs.
Teja POV:-
I opened my eyes and saw some nurses and doctors looking at me with curiosity and happiness.
My eyes shifted towards Dr. Harsh Vardhan, who looked tired.
" Teja, follow my lead. " He said while showing me his finders.
He changed the direction of his finger, and I looked at it and followed the lead.
He examined me and asked me some questions. I replied to them in a hoarse and weak voice.
He understood I needed water, and he handed me a glass of water.
He helped me drinking water, and I drank it slowly.
When he understood, I am good now.
He gave me a tight hug.
" Thank God, you are okay, now. I was so worried about you when I saw you in that state. " He said, and everyone inside the room smiled widely.
He broke the hug and looked at me in rage.
" DR. TEJA NARAYAN, HOW DARE YOU? HOW DARE YOU TRY TO COMMIT SUICIDE? HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOUR PATIENTS WHO NEED YOUR SKILLS?
HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOUR FAMILY WHO NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT AND CARE?
HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT US WHO ARE ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU? " Dr. Harsh Vardhan asked madly.
" Yes, I forgot about everything. " I said coldly.
Everyone looked at me with shock.
" Teja, you...? " He tried to say something, but I showed him my hand.
" Yes, sir. Why? Do you felt bad? Then you should be. Have you ever thought about me for a minute? Do you know why you are worried about me? It's because I am your employee.
After knowing everything about my life, You felt pity towards me. Yes, I lost everything in my life. I want peace, Which I am not getting here. I want to go somewhere I don't know anyone, and I will live alone. But you all are hell-bent on me. What responsibilities are you talking about?
Haven't I completed my responsibilities before?
Haven't I took care of my patients who need me?

I took out the paper and looked at it calmly.

He took it from me and started to read it.
He gave me a shocked looked.
I smile deadly at him.
