53 Olivia It's Time To Prepare

Olivia woke up in Eli's arms, she could remember everything that had happened but couldn't do anything to drag her consciousness back to the surface right away "Eli?" she managed to mutter, Eli looked down on her face and gave her a weary gaze "I'm sorry I didn't warn you about Quinn. This is my fault, I don't know how I can make this up to you."

Olivia tried to shift herself off of Eli's lap but he refused to let her go. "No I don't want you to ever leave my arms." he said solemnly as he squeezed her body against his. Olivia hugged him back "Eli I think I need help. I can't let the 'doll' me take over when I'm cornered.... it's hard, I hear and see everything but the 'doll' makes me feel nothing and who knows what will happen the next time... what if I take too long to come back and what if... I don't come back at all. I don't want to be useless anymore Eli, I don't want to be a burden... I don't want you... to hate me." she said as tears of frustration started to spill from her eyes.

Eli cupped her chin and brought her lips to his "You aren't useless or a burden, I swore I was going to protect you and I will keep my word." he whispered gently against her lips. Olivia shook her head no "I want to be stronger, I need to be stronger, Eli be realistic! I can't be watched or protected by you 24/7, I need to be able to protect myself!" she started to say with a huff.

Eli chuckled darkly "Do you honestly believe I won't come up with a way to have you watched 24/7 or that I would drop everything to run to you?" Olivia was shocked she had never seen such a dangerous look in his eyes that it caused her body to involuntarily tremble.

Eli gave a sigh and his normal face returned. "I... sorry... what do you want me to do? I know I can't be there for you all the time, that next time might be the time something does happen to you.... but I don't want to loose you... I can't afford to loose you." he murmured under his breath. Olivia wrapped her arms around his neck and looked him in the eyes. "Train me to fight back!"

It didn't take much convincing to have her father allow her to go over to Eli's house an hour earlier then what she normally did, he fully agreed that she needed self defense training but was skeptical that Eli could properly teach her. She was determined to prove him wrong and to show everyone that she could no longer be pushed around.

She unlocked the front door and took one step into the foyer "Congratulations!!!" the Delmira family shouted. Olivia dropped her bag onto the floor as a blank faced Mrs. Delmira wrapped her arms around her body and started jumping up and down in joy.

"He finally proposed! Samantha showed me the video, it was just adorable! Your planning for an August wedding right? Did you pick a date yet? Will you come live here until your house is built? Oh please live here! Even if you plan to have babies right away I can help you with everything! Honey, if they had babies right away you would be such a loving grandfather! Oh they would be such beautiful babies too! I hope they mostly look like you! Seeing theses faces every single function! I'm dying for some cuteness!" she said excitedly while her eyes sparkled with love, happiness and anticipation.

Olivia felt her face flush at Mrs. Delmira's words, though the women could not express herself with her face, she fully utilized her voice and eyes and Olivia got her message. They want grandbabies and soon. Olivia took a peek at Mr. Delmira and watched him comfort an embarrassed Eli again, he wasn't showing his usual stone face but was smiling widely as he nodded towards her.

Samantha was laughing her butt off and trying to hold herself up, while Aaron was stone faced "Well I guess I have too look for someone like you when I go on the hunt for my bride, unless you have a baby girl soon then I can marry her and save myself the trouble" he said candidly as he crossed his arms over his chest.

The Delmiras' bust into laughter over Aaron's comment "Like Eli would ever let his daughter date!" Samantha said in between her laughter and tears. Aaron raised his head with pride and determination "Who says I need his permission I just need to start courting her the moment she's born and one day she won't be able to live with out me. Worse case if we don't receive his blessing then we elope." he said courtly. The laughter suddenly stopped and the room became deadly silent.

Eli looked over at Olivia with a serious face "Maybe will wait 10 years before we have kids..." then shot a deadly gaze towards Aaron "So then that way we can have the little f*cker arrested for being a pedophile."

Olivia face planted into her bed. Her body ached all over and she was pretty sure that she would hurt more in the morning. Eli gave her a muscle relaxant before she left the estate but it hadn't started working yet. She hauled herself off the bed and prepared herself to take a hot shower.

She thought back on her day and what to expect in the next couple of weeks. She giggled to herself thinking her father was silly enough to believe that Eli was going to half a** teach her, well she kinda hoped he would too and try to sneak in some romance, but to her surprise he was a spartan. A demon of a teacher not allowing any form of mistakes, especially when it came to the basics.

After her shower, she dressed in favorite pj's and braided her hair. She went looking for her father to report her day. She was never going to let him know how shaken she was over the call he made to her on her first day of the new semester.

For someone who is the CEO of one of the biggest and best companies for technology security to have his phone calls and text messages compromised was hard to believe, but then again she could come up with some theories on who could easily cause such a compromise. So whenever he was home she would make it her mission to find time to speak with him face to face.

She found him head first in the kitchen fridge. Olivia started to laugh as she figured out what her father was doing. Avery popped his head out and straightened up his back. His eyes sparkled with mischief as he licked the chocolate icing from his finger. "Hi Livy! Were you looking for me?" he asked innocently.

Olivia walked over and grabbed herself a glass of milk "I just wanted to talk to you about my day... do you have time to sit and chat?" she asked. Avery gave her a big smile "Of course I do!" and they made their way to the kitchen counter and sat their rumps down.

Unknown to them, Agni stood in the shadows watching and listening to their happy conversation while she dug her own nails into her upper arms. "If you won't devote yourself to only me... then I guess my plans will have to change."
