Chapter 9: What to do
In Segund.
The smoke of his hookah floated up to the wooden ceiling in the glow of the cool evening sun.
He gently draw out the smoke as he awaited liam return with nakir's body.
"What shall I do with nakir's body? He thought.
He knew somethings about hills and their customs. He had studied and prepared somethings before attacking hills but things happen and who would ever thought that nakir will seek revenge.
Well he didn't know that nakir will leave his body underneath a rock or that he could poison the waters in segund. Perhaps he should have been more prepared.
Roddy told him something incredible about the protectors and perhaps that was what qualified him for the attack.
Roddy has been to hills a couple of times,dressed like the palace official with a fake tattoo on his left arm like the officials in hills.
Roddy was a tricky fellow.
He was bold enough to go to hills,dressed like one of them and he was never caught. Sirocco smiled.
'what a crackhead '
Roddy had told him that if something is missen in the protector body they will not be able to return inside their body back.
He told him other things about the protectors and hills. It was quite hilarious that Roddy knew so much about hills.
Sirocco did not take it very seriously though,because of course he had nothing to do with the protector's body then but this little information Roddy shared with him could be the game changer.
"I just need to see his body first,then I will know from whence I will start from". He muttered.
Liam returned to Segund.
Sirocco gently draw out the smoke again.
"It is me Liam. He announced. May I come in. His voice disrupted sirocco's peaceful and quiet atmosphere, he was all alone in the upper room.
"Yes,you may".
Sirocco laughed triumphantly when he saw the body of nakir with Liam...his laugh thundered. He will surely come. Sirocco said with a sneer."Nakir did come... Liam said.
"He did?... sirocco eyes wide open in shock. How could he have appeared there fast, perhaps he was not too far away.he thought.
"Yes, Nakir came...he was magnificent and swift, he was...he was incredible.
Liam praised.
"You shut your mouth right there and right now... He screamed with fierce anger in his eyes.
"What happened there that you praise him this much... He stood up with his hands clasped to the back.
"You may speak".
A heavy wind blew with strong dust and after that he came.
He took an invincible form and one by one the warriors drop dead with screams and blood...but he couldn't attack me due to the charm. He explained.
But he didn't tell sirocco that a young man had requested for nakir's body and had declared it to be his treasure.
"But why?"
"How can this body be treasured by a young man.He thought. Perhaps he knows something about nakir.
"No. It can't be.He was just been childish. Liam was in a deep thought, sirocco noticed.
"Liam is there something else you want to say . Sirocco asked.
"No, there isn't anything else. Liam answered.
"Are you sure".
"Certainly... The Young man ran for his life when he asked the warriors to seize him, so why put him in trouble now.
"Hand it over and leave,as you have nothing else to say"... Liam left the room.
Sirocco placed it on a bronze surface. He touched it and noticed the missen emerald that used to be on nakir's forehead.
"He took it along". Sirocco muttered.
He cast several spells to keep nakir away from retrieving his body.
Sirocco studied the body He will definitely come again. He thought.
What could be nakir's next move?How will he come?
Which form would he take?
Liam had said earlier that he took an invincible form.
Several thoughts and questions bubbled up in his mind.He got up and walked to his spell table and started mixing some potions.
Sirocco was preparing for the worst that is yet to come but will surely come.He has many able bodies guard surround the upper room,the spells is not enough to keep that ruthless snake away. He thought.
