DxD 29 – Strange Dreams

'Again…'

The little girl thought of that, while she woke up in her comfortable and yet fancy bedding. The little girl, that looked like around 12 years old, has long crimson red hair, and blue clear eyes. And even if she is yet to become a teenager, she already showing quite a growth in both beauty and body, especially since her smell breasts are is quite big for her age group.

No can deny the fact, this little girl, will be quite a devilish woman with both body and beauty, that will make countless men, and strangely even women will look at her, with either admiration or pure lust.

Of course, that will be matter when she fully blossoms as a woman.

The little girl herself, that wearing nothing at all, because she doesn't like to feel her sweat on her clothing when she sleeps. Closed her eyes, and sigh, as she cannot help to recall the dream she just had.

It is normal, for even for Devils like herself, to have dreams. But for this little red head girl, Rias Gremory. Kept on having the same kind of dream for over a month now. And this happened nearly every night.

'Are those strange dreams because I am worried?' Rias thought to herself, as she recalled something unpleasant. Something that she wishes she could refuse. But she cannot no matter how much she tried to find a way to refuse the 'thing', that is known as arranged marriage.

Rias is no fool, she knew as a Pure Devil herself. It is completely normal for Pure Devils to marry another Pure Devil, so they can not only formed ties between Devil Households, but also strengthen their bloodlines as well. And a stronger bloodline, will make their children stronger than themselves.

It also the same reason why her mother was married into the House of Gremory, because she is from the House of Bael, who are known to have one of the most powerful bloodlines among the Devils, a power known as the Power of Destruction within their bloodlines.

And it is also thanks to her mother, that Rias has that bloodline, and that Power of Destruction as well. Not to mention. Rias is also the next head of the House of Gremory, giving Rias a high status among her age group. If that is not enough, her older brother is Sirzechs Lucifer, the current leader of the Devils, as well the first Devil in existence, to pass over the barrier known as Ultimate-Class, into Super-Class.

So, one will think because of those three things, having a high bloodline, high status, and even a powerful backing, that Rias has it all. And yet… she is being forced to marry someone she doesn't even like.

His name is Riser Phenex, a well-known playboy, and the third son from the House of Phenex. Who are known to have a powerful self-healing ability, and able to control and create flames to their will. And if that is not enough, almost everyone from the House of Phenex has the ability to produce an item known as Phenex Tears, that can even heal limbs from a person that at their death door. Because of that, the House of Phenex is one of the richest Households in the Underworld.

It is because of their powerful bloodlines, that both the Houses of Phenex and Gremory wanted to unite themselves, into a stronger bloodline. After all, to the Devils themselves, especially the Pure Devils, bloodline means everything to them. And it be no lie, to the House of Gremory, the financial aid that the House of Phenex can prove, is just another added bonus to this marriage between two families.

And yet… even if she knows the benefits are huge. Rias still cannot stand it, being married to Riser, that playboy, since she knows their marriage will be nothing but a loveless marriage. Which is one of the things that she doesn't want in a lifelong partner.

However, no matter how much she begged her father, the current Lord of Gremory, or her mother, the current Lady of Gremory. The Lord of Gremory himself, will refused to listen to Rias. Even if he normally spoils her normally. While her mother, the Lady of Gremory, will comfort her, and tell her, that is her duty as a Pure Devil. And she was the same as well.

Of course, Rias knew, that her mother, Venelana Gremory, actually hatred being married to her father in the beginning. Since her father does have a harem himself. Even if Rias does sometimes forget about that, since her father, Zeoticus Gremory. Don't let his harem life, and his family life involved with each other.

But over time, Venelana and Zeoticus did managed to fallen love with each other. And did her duties as a Pure Devil.

Nonetheless, even if Rias knew that. She still cannot do the same as her mother. She just dislike Riser Phenex, who even rumoured to have sex in public! Which also one of the many reasons why Riser Phenex creeps her out.

Of course, the second reason why Rias doesn't want to marry Riser, besides it will be a loveless marriage. Is because, Rias wanted to be seen as Rias Gremory, not as the little sister of the Devil himself, or the Young Lady of the House of Gremory.

She wanted to able to be herself, before the person she loved, not to wear a mask before her beloved husband.

In the end, Rias did asked Sirzechs, her older brother, for help in this forced marriage she will have when she finished High School in six years' time. But even if Sirzechs is a known siscon, actually do want to help Rias, and doesn't like the idea of having his beloved sister in a loveless marriage either.

But there is nothing he can do, as the ruler of all Devils, he cannot interfere with the other Houses, besides they are a threat to their own race, besides that, Sirzechs Lucifer. Cannot stopped this marriage no matter how much power he has.

"Miss, are you awake?" Waking up from her own thoughts. Rias reopened her blue eyes, and looked at the door, and got up from her bed, fully in the nude.

"Come in." Rias said that, and not worried if someone sees her naked. After all, she is used to having all kinds of servants dressing her or seeing her naked. That is why Rias didn't care being seen naked. Even if she has no clue how big of a problem it will be in the future.

A moment later, a maid came into her bedroom, the maid herself has long dark blue hair, and light blue eyes. Rias recalls she is one of the newer maids that are assigned to her when she begun living in the human world.

"Good morning young miss, breakfast is ready. Shall I bring it in your room, or will you come down and eat?" Asked the maid.

"Hmm, it just me here, right?" Rias went, as the maid herself begun to aid her master getting dressed.

"Yes, Lady Grayfia should be coming later today, to check on the young miss's homework. Maybe Lord Lucifer, your brother might sneak along as well." Said the maid.

"Knowing brother, he will used seeing me as an excuse to skip work. Grayfia, will not give brother a single change of skipping work, no matter how much he begs." Rias went with a smile. And recall her older brother, Sirzechs, and his wife, Grayfia Lucifuge. Who is not only his wife, but also his Queen in his Peerage.

Of course, Rias knew Grayfia who is the head maid of the House of Gremory, do have a noble title herself, since she does have another title besides the Strongest Queen, and that will be the Yellow Satan herself.

However, Grayfia remained as a mere servant to the Devil King, and in a way Rias is envy of her brother and is wife. Since the two of them are so much in sync with each other, one being a lazy Devil King, and the other a serious maid. A perfect couple, no matter how much she sees it.

Shortly after getting dressed. Rias informed the maid; she will come down to have her breakfast. But when she was about to leave the bedroom. Rias suddenly halt her steps, and turned her blue eyes to her bedside, and notice a letter there.

"Did I forgot to see it, when I went to bed?" Rias asked herself, as she cannot recall a letter being there, when she went sleep. However, curisoty took over Rias, as she walked towards the letter. But when see looked at the name and the sender on the letter's front. Rias Gremory froze, when she stared at the two things that is written on the letter's front.

'To, the lady known as the Princess of Ruins'

'From; the boy in the forest.'

Normally, if it was over a month ago. Rias will think these words will be some kind of prank. However, to the current Rias, she cannot help to recall those dreams she keeps on having almost every night.

Rias dreamt of being in a forest. And in the forest, she will meet a young, hooded boy. Who never say a thing to her, no matter how much she calls out to him.

The only thing the boy does. Were to pull or lead Rias to a specific place. Sometimes the boy will grinned at Rias, sometimes, Rias notice his endless blue eyes, that seems to lock her soul in place.

But besides those things. Nothing else appeared, and even if she was brought to that place. The moment the boy brings her there. She will wake up from her own dream.

She even become curious if that forest, and that place was real. And to her surprise, they are real. Since the location of the forest, is not far where she lived.

However, when Rias went to that place in reality. Only made Rias confused, since she didn't find anything there, and those dreams of hers even kept on happening, even as of today.

That is why, Rias begun to curse each time, when she had those dreams, since they made no sense. Until she saw the letter before her.

Of course, the real question that Rias should be asking, how did the letter entered her mansion, when there should be a barrier, that could even stops Ultimate-Class Devils from breaking in freely.

However, curiosity took over Rias, as she cannot help to recall those strange dreams that she kept on having. And speak aloud what written inside the letter, or more like the piece of paper, as Rias's blue eyes widen a little before narrowing.

"Pair of mother and daughter… a potential queen… and a key to break the forced marriage? Protect the girl's mother, to earn the trust of the daughter, who lost her way? Protect this family… that cannot be protected by themselves…?"

No matter how much Rias sees this, it sounds like a riddle. But when she sees the word's, 'a key to break the forced marriage'. It will be a lie, to say Rias wasn't interested. But no matter how she sees it, Rias cannot help to see this as fishy as she could see.

And yet, she her curiosity cannot let her to ignore this letter and looked at the 'potential queen'. Rias already was given her Evil Pieces, and knew that the strongest piece, the Queen Piece, cannot be used carelessly, which is why, Rias cannot help to be curious about these two people, and who they are.

'Family… huh.' Rias recalled the rule of her family, which every Gremory, even herself, prided themselves in. The pride that the Gremory looked at their own, their servants, and even their Peerage like family.

It is because, they knew, the moment they take someone in their Peerage, they most likely had to look after that just turned Devil for the rest of their lives. And the House of Gremory doesn't want to treat their own with dishonestly, as their owners, and treat everyone fairly, just like family would do.

Recalling the creed of the House of Gremory, and her curiosity before these two. Rias took a deep breath and decided to go after all.

That is why, instead of going to the dining room, Rias prepared herself to go, and give the excuse of she wanted to go on a walk, before she attended breakfast. And made her way to the location in her dreams, not knowing within the sky, a hooded young boy, the very same one in her dreams. Was looking at her, and a smile appeared on his lips, before a black mist appeared and devoured him, as he disappeared like he was never there.

As Rias went to meet with her future Queen.
