Discovering One's Own heart
Victoria felt her world crumbling as she heard the news.
She used to think that the mystics of death weren't too far from the phantom shadows, but to her surprise they were not even qualified to become trainee's or candidates.
This news was unbearable to her, the only question remaining now was why Luke would want her if he already had the Phantom Shadows.
Things went uneventful as Alway until the cafe was closed and Luke, Victoria and John left for Rear View.
On their way back Victoria wanted to ask Luke about his intentions for her but didn't know where to start.
Luke returned to a dark lonely house with no Beatrice waiting for him.
"It's funny how a few months ago I would've felt at home in this kind of atmosphere but now....." Luke sighed as he felt helpless.
He had to admit it, he was really warming up to Beatrice way too fast which was surprising to him. He remembers how during daytime he referred to Beatrice as 'my wife' when speaking to Ellen, Jane and Maria.
It felt so natural and easy to him and though she dated Linda for some months he never refered to her as 'my girlfriend' though she was his childhood crush and love. It always felt difficult,
but with Beatrice it was so easy and warming.
"When did it begin?" Luke stood in the hallway as he tried remember when he started opening up to her.
This was moving a little too fast.
He could feel it in his heart that if this continues, he may very well fall in love with her and hard too.
He calmed himself down and took a shower, as he sat down in the study to do some work, he took out his phone ready to call Beatrice and ask about her day.
He stopped and smiled in self mockery, he did care about her, maybe possibly more than he had thought.
He shook his head and dialled the number.
"How was your day? did you solve your company problem."
"I had a lot of fun with mom today, and the company matters can wait until my break.
I'm sure it's no big deal",
"Okay, but if you ever need any help let me know, am not as useless as you think".
Beatrice found it kind of cute that Luke was ready to defend her though he doesn't have much.
"Alright I will let you know, if I need any help", she said with a smile.
"See you soon" Luke said and hung up.
He went through his laptop and found something which piqued his curiousity.
He opened the file name Shawn and Linda dream villa proposal.
"Lucy... is there something I should know about this proposal, you are yet to inform me of?
"Actually there is, your ex-girlfriend and her husband started a real estate company after they returned from their honeymoon.
Shawn left the Austin family to make a name for himself because he didn't want to rely on his family wealth, he wanted to earn it himself.
So he took his saving and left the Austin family to make a name for himself with the support of his wife.
This has gained him a lot of respect and reputation, and besides they are doing pretty well.
By my estimate they should be able to get a net worth in billions if they continued to progress like this.
Right now they are extremely confidence in theirselves and so decided to go for the biggest fish in the sea.
Partner up with A Group and build a luxurious estate for the rich which would represent fame and power since you would be backing it."
Lucy answered.
Your twelve board members reviewed the plan and wanted them to come and convince them in two weeks time.
Your presence would be essential since you hold all the power", she added.
Luke glanced through the proposal and was done reviewing it in a few minutes.
"This proposal is not bad at all not gonna lie about that one.
It has so much potential", he said.
"Agreed", replied Lucy.
"Tell them, I would surely attend".
Lucy acknowledged the command and got busy with her tasks.
Inside a motel in Valdan, a regular looking man had his eyes closed as he deliberated on the perfect way to plan a murder as an accident.
He wanted to end it quick and return to his country. This man was James, the royal knight sent to deal with Luke.
"If I snipe him, it would rouse suspicion, If I use explosives it would be too obvious.
I can also go on killing spree and kill a couple of people to make the whole world think I'm a serial killer,
but it also means I would have to kill many innocent souls which is too tiring". With his eyes closed he delibrated on a few ways before opening his eyes several minutes later.
"I guess I have to be an armed robber then", he sighed with frustration.
As an honorable knight, the last thing he wanted to do was play armed robber,
but there was no other way.
He had to do this, he closed his eyes and continued to meditate.
At a luxurious house, a beautiful woman and man cuddled each other tightly as they lay on the sofa sipping wine and feeling each other's warmth.
"Very soon we will overtake the real estate business and become filthy rich, all we have to do is convince the chairman of Archman Group.
But am scared and excited at the same time" said Shawn.
Linda held his hands and comforted him, " Don't worry, we would do just fine and see our dream come true."
The couple had just been informed to prepare to meet the chairman of Archman Group and his board in two weeks which felt them with excitement, joy and fear.
this could be their major breakthrough.
A new era awaited them and all they had to do was take a step forward,
