Chapter 3: Sinister Instincts

<p>I look around for potential places to hide and what do you know? there are none.<br/>I know I don't have long to be contemplating over getting out of here though, so I need to make my move now!<br/><br/>I proceed to look over at the window and notice I'm 4 stories up.<br/>Shikai: *I could easily jump this right?*<br/>I say as I open the window <br/>Shikai: *Hell No!*<br/>Well since that idea is out the window no pun intended I need to locate what I can do with these powers. Just what power has been bestowed upon me to send me to the middle of the galaxy?<br/><br/>**Knock Knock**<br/>Doctor: Shikai are you awake? It's the doctor, I'm coming to check on you.<br/>Just the doctor huh, wonder what happened to the other guy.<br/>Shikai: Yes, I'm awake doc!<br/>He opens the door<br/>Doctor: Splendid, how do you feel currently? Any nausea, dizziness, or pain?<br/>Shikai: Nah none of that, I'm completely fine!<br/>I flex my newfound muscles that I never knew I had.<br/>Doctor: Great to see you're doing well haha! I just need to get one final check up and we'll let you go in the morning.<br/>He than proceeds to get closer towards me but notice something is off, he seems to be checking his coat for something but I can't tell for what.<br/>I try my hardest to view what he is getting and all of a sudden I can see through his coat! <br/><br/>Doctor: *Damn it, I have the knife but I don't have the serum*<br/>Serum? Is that what I was hit with last time? and how am I hearing his thoughts?<br/><br/>The doctor than proceeds to excuse himself while he proceeds to go back to his office to grab the "tools" he forgot.<br/>I use this opportunity to grab my backpack and change back into my street wear.<br/>"Looking good as ever" I say to myself looking the mirror but now isn't the time to be admiring myself, I have to get out of here and if i'm correct the doctor has been gone for 3 minutes.<br/><br/>I peek out into the empty dark hallway and notice that doesn't appear to be any humans on this floor.<br/>"Odd" I think to myself as I walk through the hallway trying to make myself as quiet as possible.<br/>I than find the stairwell leading all the way down to the first floor and boy do I make a run for it!<br/><br/>Doctor: So, you think you will escape huh?<br/>Oh sh*t. He noticed.<br/>Doctor: Heh, let's play a little game of cat and mouse Shikai, the whole hospital is your playground but if I find you you're dead and don't bother going to any exits, I made sure everything was locked.<br/><br/>Well f*ck me this is NOT how I expected to spend the rest of my night, I quickly move to the 2nd floor with a plan in mind and I try move to the nearest room. <br/>"Janitors room? F*ck f*ck f*ck!" <br/>I than hear large footsteps coming down the hallway, I know I don't have long at all and start to lose hope until I notice there is a window in here. I look out of it and it's not a bad jump at all! I bust the window open, hopped out, and ran for my life.<br/><br/>Running down the dead streets with only the moon to illuminate my path made me realize things, why was that hospital empty? Why is this part of town completely dead at night? <br/>Just so many questions that I needed answers for but couldn't find any at the time.<br/><br/>10 minutes past since I left the hospital and it's safe to say I think I've lost the trail of that crazy doctor. I than stop to catch my breathe and notice who's house I'm outside.<br/>"Ko Residence" Oh wow, what a coincidence I sigh in relief. I notice there's still a light on in Kirisaki's house so I try my luck and ring the doorbell, I than see someone peek through the blinds and proceed to the door. <br/><br/>The door opens and there she is, Kirisaki Ko. She sees me and wraps her arms around me while crying<br/><br/>"I was so worried about you! I'm glad you're okay, they didn't even let us visit you!" Kirisaki says but <br/>something isn't adding up, how did I get that note and who wrote it? but before I could ask Kirisaki about it I start to feel a very sinister energy somewhere in the environment and I quickly turn my head to notice nothing being there. Maybe just a fluke? No way, that can't be a good sign.<br/><br/>Kirisaki: Would you like to stay for the remainder of the night? We have school in a few hours.<br/>Shikai: Thank you so much for the offer honestly but not tonight, after all that I'm really missing my bed right now haha!<br/>Kirisaki chuckles<br/>Kirisaki: I guess it's decided than, stay safe Shikai! See you tomorrow! <br/><br/>We than hug one last time before she closes the door. Man, I gotta be the luckiest guy on earth! I thought at least. The sinister feeling from earlier stroke harder than ever and I knew I had to get the f*ck out of this neighborhood.<br/><br/>So I proceed to run through the moonlit streets while having the sharp feeling I was being chased all the way till I made it home. When I finally closed the door everything just…stopped<br/><br/>"What the hell just happened?" I say to myself before I proceed to go upstairs, so much has happened this past day all I wanna do is rest…the beach would be nice right now.<br/>I than proceed to fall onto my bed going to sleep as what seems instant but than I wake up somewhere…sandy<br/><br/>"Where am I?" I say to myself, i than look around to see myself in a starlit beach, it's beautiful. Words can't describe how beautiful this beach is, it's exactly like the reality I was in when I was looking over the galaxy.<br/>"Welcome back Shikai." A familiar female voice calls out<br/>I than look to see this long haired girl revealing herself with her long cloak and beautiful eyes<br/>"How did your first encounter go in the real world?"<br/>She says, I reply and say it was horrid since I basically survived off iq and whatever this power is. She chuckles and goes back to gazing at the sky and I just take this opportunity to rest in the sand.<br/><br/>?: "You know Shikai, this world is completely real right?" She says in a calm tone,<br/>"It really is huh…" I reply back to her.<br/>"Heh, seems like your starting to come to terms with things. Isn't that some great development." She says as she chuckles a slight bit.<br/>For some reason my body starts to move on it's own, I walk up to her face to face and ask something that I should've known a long time ago.<br/>"Hey, what's your name?"<br/><br/><br/><br/></p>
