Chapter 2: After School, Occurrence?

So the day went pretty good, classes were a breeze considering it was only the basics and getting to know each other, I introduced Kirisaki to my friend group at lunch and they all welcomed her in! since Lunch is at the very end of the day at are school since we arrive at 8:00, eat breakfast around 9:40, and than eat lunch at around 1:40 before they release us for dismissal at 3:40.

After I introduced Kirisaki to everyone we all made a group chat and made plans on Saturday to hangout at the new mall along with the burger place, from reviewers I heard that the burger place was very odd so I decided to stay on high alert when we arrived this Saturday, it's only Monday so sadly that day won't come for awhile, but anyways me and Kirisaki decide to head out since we made plans with one and another during are 3rd person so we wave are friends goodbye and Ahsui being the teaser yells out

"Make sure to wear protection Shikai!"

I turn around and look as if I saw a ghost and said "Shut up ok?!?"

Than I proceeded to walk with Kirisaki, Along the way, Kirisaki says she needs to drop by her house to change real quick and tell her I need to do the same so we both head different directions.

We plan on meeting at 5:30 though, it's currently 4:50 so I decide to take a shower and play some video games before the "date" I'm wearing one of my most exclusive outfits, a VLone t shirt, black ripped jeans, and air force ones, the process of finding the outfit took around what? 10-20 god damn minutes! so hopefully the date isn't a letdown, it's currently 5:20 so I call up Kirisaki and ask her if she's ready and she says yes so I head over to her place and I make sure to bring my backpack just in case I need a change of clothes heh heh.

on the walk to her place I see a rather unusual sight...it was a murder right before my eyes! it was a man trying to kill what looked like a high school student! I ran over to them and tried to disarm the man, the man than stabbed me right near my neck and I started feeling dizzy, before I fainted I saw the man running away saying that the job was done.

the girl than approached me and had tears in her eyes and said,

"Are you okay Shikai?" I look in confusion and wonders how she knows my name but before I ask I than pass out.

I see a light and than I wonder if I'm dead or not, I than look at what is to be a white room with me sitting in a chair in the middle of it, than what looks like a high school girl around my age maybe 1 year older saying,

"Would you like to live?" I answer "Yes." and she says "I bestow upon you this power, fore' I'm a messenger of something higher, something amazing, something out of your imagination, do you still accept." Yes, Yes i do I say to her.

I'm than transported to a room somewhere in the galaxy or maybe the universe and I'm just…shocked. The girl from earlier than teleports behind me with her back facing mines and says,

?: Beautiful right?

Shikai: Yeah, very.

?: Heh, glad you like it. I come here to get away from all the problems at home.

Shikai looks up into the galaxy

Shikai: Tell me more.

?: Well, life has never been easy for me. Parents always arguing to the point where we've been evicted on multiple occasions and I try my best to make them stop but it's never enough. So I fade away here to calm my nerves.

Shikai feels resentment for her

Shikai: It seems as if you never really had a chance.

?: Ahh, I guess you could say that but hey, life is unfair for many and I happen to be one of those few.

Shikai: I guess that's true, but you aren't exactly human are you? or else you wouldn't be able to access here

?: That's a good observation, but I'm still very much human just different.

Shikai: How so?

?: That's a story to tell at another time, but me and you are one of the same now.

Shikai looks confused

?: I bet you have that look of confusion right? Well you are now blessed with what we call Aura. Welcome to the club.

Shikai: What do you mean?…

?: In simple terms Aura is a concept of power, it comes in many stages with each stage taking immense training to get to and lucky you you're blessed.

Shikai: What do you mean I'm blessed?

Shikai turns to her

?: Now, now don't get aggressive but your powers are sent from above. Consider yourself lucky Shikai.

Shikai starts hyperventilating, remembering things said in the cave that same summer.

Shikai: So you mean to tell me the stuff in the-

?: That's correct, everything in the cave was true.

Shikai start's hyperventilating even more

Shikai: get me out of here.

?: Hm?

Shikai: I said get me out of here.

The mysterious girl starts to chuckle

?: You seriously wanna leave?

Shikai: Yes, count me out of whatever bullsh*t this is.

?: Heh, alright than. I'll be seeing you soon Shikai.

Shikai than starts lighting up with a golden god like aura before being transported back to earth.

YUME: You seriously let him go?

?: Yeah, what good will it be keeping him here? We all go through that first stage of denial when achieving something out of are realization.

YUME: *Sigh* What will I do with you but I guess you have a point.

Shikai awakens

Shikai: What the hell…where am I?

He than looks around to see himself in a hospital bed with a note on the right side of him,

"Shikai it's Kirisaki, I'm so so sorry that this has happened to you, if it wasn't for you walking over to my place you would've been completely okay. I've told the others already and they've came to visit as i'm writing this, the doctors also told us you would be fine and make a great recovery as long as you slept this night off but try and see me and the others whenever you can. xoxo - Kirisaki"

Shikai: *Hehe, she put xoxo but anyways I should really get out of here."

He than goes to feel for where he was stabbed and oddly no trace for a wound. He takes it as a odd sighting and reflects back to what the mystery girl was going on about, maybe he really does have newfound powers.

A phone ringtone than starts playing in the not so distant hallway, someone picks up.

?: Hello? Yes, I'm directly by the victims room

Shikai: *Victim? Is he referring to me?*

?: Mhm. I won't fail like my comrade
