Arcane Awakening

The three of them entered inside door no.3 and arrived in a small courtyard.

A middle-aged man with a white beard and white hair sat on a leaning chair while leisurely fishing on a magical pond.

The ponds' depths were connected to a different water source far away and allowed various fishes to appear in the pond.

"Where is this place, old man?" Cassandra asked as she looked around.

The middle-aged man laughed.

"A small grassy plain in the north of Eastern continent," turning to Kiera and Cassandra, he continued with a relaxed smile, "I like to fish in peace."

"Is that your little guy?" Elder Loushi looked at Arlott. "Haha, the little imp is interesting."

"Yes," Kiera smiled and caressed Arlott's head. "Today is his first day at school with other kids, so I thought I might as well have him go through awakening here."

"Come, let's start."

'Lave, I thought of the first punishment I'll inflict on all the guys in the party that night.'

Arlott quickly focused as his Aracane Source started forming as his body and soul oozed out magic potential hidden inside, causing bursts of mana and arcane force to spread throughout his body.

However, Arlott quickly adjusted his parameters with the dashboard provided by Laverna.

Outside, everyone sensed the Arlott oozing out an aura of his Arcane source and immediately scanned it with their superior senses to gauge its power.

"139 arcane force? Not bad for a five-year-old. Once he starts training, it's going to increase fast," Cassandra nodded with a smile.

Kiera smilingly nodded.

"His magic talent is high," Loushi caressed his beard while nodding. "It's at SS-grade, so he will indeed increase his Arcane force faster."

"Let's check his affinities and magic talents now."

Elder Loushi took out a blue-white crystal slate out of nowhere in his hand while the Awakening Orb cracked and vanished.

"Put your palm on it."

Arlott nodded and put his palm on the slate.

The crystal tablet shone before it produced a mirage with text and runes.

'Wow, I am so talented,' Arlott internally chuckled as he looked at his parameters.

[Which of the primary affinities do you want to show others?]

'All.'

But in this life, he gained one thousand Arcane Forces every year by drinking milk!

Meanwhile, Kiera, Cassandra, and Loushi were so shocked that their jaws dropped to the ground.

They saw the slate displaying all primary affinities and two runes that indicated two magic talents!

"All primary affinities!" Cassandra exclaimed with shock. "He has a chance to dabble in many advanced elemental magics with this."

Kiera was also excited and happy. "He can also learn mine and Derek's secret magic arts."

"This rune is uniquely complex…I've never seen something like that," Elder Loushi squinted his eyes as he looked at Arcane Throne talent's rune.

"Oh?"

Kiera and Cassandra were surprised to hear that. It was hard to discern what talent runes entail, but they've been studied so much that knowing a talent rune's type and what it influenced from its runic patterns was not hard. Moreover, Elder Loushi was a knowledgeable old fogey regarding that.

"If even you find it uniquely complex, then I'll have to see this talent when Arlott uses it," Cassanda's curiosity was piqued.

"Not now. He just awakened, so we shouldn't force him to use his powers recklessly," Kiera said as she ruffled Arlott's hair. "You will learn the basics in the class soon, okay? Don't do anything yet."

"Ok," Arlott nodded.

'Haha, this talent's work really suits its name.'
