Chapter 159

Brake, and came down from the car, slammed the

 car door and strode into the reserved elevator to the top floor.

He got in, his phone started ringing, he glanced at the phone screen, and saw Arial, he clenched his fists, feeling overly angry, he took a deep breath and exhaled, ignoring the incessant ringing tone.

The elevator clicked, and came to a halt, the door opened, and he stepped out of the elevator, he walked through the walls, and headed directly to his father's office.

“Good morning, sir” a cute lady, bearing files greeted, Jo ignored her completely, and walked briskly into his father's office, ignoring protocol, he pulled the door open.

Old Man Bill was standing at the glass walking, on call, looking at the beautiful scene of the bustling city, from the top of the company's skyscraper, he glanced towards the door and saw Jo.

He knew something was wrong, 

“Mr. Austin, I will hang now, we will talk later…. oh, there is an emergency that demands my immediate attention” he rapped up the call, and turned around to see Jo, calmly sitting, he frowned.

“What is it, Jo? Why do you look so furious, who had pissed you up?” he asked a series of question, Jo regained his senses, and smiled?

“Am sorry, dad, I barged into your office, I am very nervous about my announcement today as the new president” he said, putting up an unnatural smile.

Old Man Bill squinted his eyes at him, he knew something was off, he shrugged “you don't have to worry about the board members, they know you are capable, and it doesn't matter what they did, what matters you are my son” Old Man Bill dismissed his worries.

The office became quite suddenly, immediately, he said that. Jo lost in his own rampaging thoughts, Old Mam Bill coughed lightly, bring Jo to the presence, he observed him intently.

“Is anything the matter, Jo?” he asked, concerned about him, Jo took a deep breath and shook his head.

“Nothing, dad, so, when am I making my engagement announcement public?” he asked, in desperation, Old Man Bill watched him for some time, and exhaled.

“That should be the company dinner party, now, there is a matter at hand, we should attend to” he said, standing up.

A knock came at the door, and it was pushed open, a stunning beauty, that her presence took Jo surprised stepped in. “Sir, the board members are already present at the conference hall, they are waiting for you and…” she paused briefly, and glanced at the man sitting before Old Man Bill, she blushed in embarrassment.

“I won't charge you for that, my son has that good effect on beautiful and charming ladies, let's go” Old Man Bill, made light of the situation, and strode towards the door.
