The bond and assessment

At around 7 o'clock I was up and running, as it was a habit of mine to wake up early. Sleep was really only a recreational thing for me, I was trained to survive without sleep for up to a month. But it made me feel more human. I went downstairs only to find some maids doing a bit of cleaning and cooking. I walk into the kitchen grabbing a few objects out of the fridge and shelves and walk towards the counter while speaking with the maids, "I hope you don't mind if I help you make breakfast, I've always made my own and for others."

They look at me with shocked faces, after all they cooked breakfast most days unless they were told not to.

"Not at all, it will be helpful having an extra hand around the kitchen. My name is Celia, but everyone just calls me aunt." A women who was quite aged replied.

They were all half-breeds, I could smell it, but that never really bothered me. Status only really mattered to me during conferences. I nodded my head and gave a smile, which I'm pretty sure shocked them again because they all looked at me with surprised eyes and a tint of blush on their cheeks.

'Come on what affect could I have on you guys, we're all girls here. I just hope I don't attract the wrong kind attention from them. But keep a mental note to self dont smile to nicely'

I quickly help prepare breakfast not just for the family but for the staff who has to be here early in the morning. We finish just before 8:30. The staff eats first and the rest will be served when the others wake up, which always varies on weekends.

I prepare to leave on a morning run, as werewolves we have to exercise both our human form and wolf form. Every pack house has designated spots for such changes, I always decide to train wolf form first.

As a arrive I get stares from all the staff around the place, you would think it would make me nervous, but I became blind to those stares a long time ago. After asking for directions I find the changing spots and go ahead and undress myself. Most people would be scared to do such things in a new place, but with my senses I could tell there was no living creature or device near. So I had no embarrassment towards the action.

I close my eyes as I feel my bones shift and stature change, I've been doing this for seven years now, it never takes long. I open my glowing crimson eyes and intake my sorroundings; the area is full of greenery but the forest is thin compared to our headquarters. I rise to stand tall and proud, I am after all a female alpha. My figure is bigger than most wolves by a feet or two, my black fur coat which matches my human hair has a smooth and straight shine to it, my teeth and nails are sharper as well since they carry a trait as well exclusive only to my family.

I feel free once again, I get ready to charge into the forest. As I dash through the area also memorizing it, I intake all the different scents and figures. It's something new, and new to me is better than anything. 'Of course excluding people'

After charting out the area, and training in my human body I return to the house. Only to find that the family is still asleep. I slip into the room shower, and send an update to HQ.

Not long after Alicia wakes up, and might I mention she has a rough case of bedhead.

She wakes to find me staring and looks confused, "How long have you been awake?" she asked through a yawn.

"Since 7 o'clock, it's been three hours since." I replied.

"Well shit, aren't you and early bird. Would've been nice to be woken up." She comments with a sarcastic tone as she stretches like a lazy cat.

"Didnt think you we're a morning person." I shrugged off her comment.

"Well either way I'm going to bathe, we'll head down to breakfast, go to the private office, and see were our day goes from there." she jumped out of bed without a trace of exhaustion.

' Now comes the hard part of my days' I internally groan.
