I'm Sorry

Ezra trudged his way back to his house, the weight of his conversation with his mother still weighing heavily on his mind. As he walked, he couldn't help but feel a sense of regret for the way he had treated Shasa earlier. He knew he had been harsh with her, and blamed himself for telling Shasa about Sophia. "If I had known earlier, that I would be needing Shasa's help. I wouldn't have told her about Sophia. Now I have to go beg her, so she can help me solve this issue," he said with an angry face.

Ezra stopped at the local bakery and picked up a small box of Shasa's favourite pastries. He then made his way to the florist and selected a bouquet of bright, cheerful flowers that he knew would lift her spirits. Finally, he stopped at the gift shop and picked out a small, delicate necklace that he thought would look lovely on her. With the gifts in hand, Ezra hurried back to his house, hoping to make it up to Shasa and make things right between them. He plans on using Shasa to solve his problem. Then break up with her, and get married to Sophia.

As he walked through the door, he could see that Shasa was sitting on the couch, looking downcast and upset.

"Hey," he said softly, approaching her with the gifts in hand. "I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier. I shouldn't have cheated on you not to talk of hitting you. I was just feeling overwhelmed and frustrated."

Ezra watched as Shasa stood up and began to make her way towards their bedroom. He knew that he had messed up badly and that she was rightfully upset with him, but he couldn't just let things end like this. He had to try and make things right, no matter how hard it would be. She was his only hope.

"Shasa, wait," he called out to her, his voice shaky with emotion. "Please, we need to talk about this."

But Shasa didn't even turn around. She kept walking towards the bedroom, leaving Ezra standing there in the living room feeling helpless and alone.

That's when he fell to his knees and begged her for help. Tears streamed down his face as he pleaded with her to forgive him and remember all the good times they had shared.

"Shasa, I know I hurt you deeply, but please sweetheart. Remember everything we have been through and forgive me. I'm on the verge of losing my company," he said, his voice breaking with emotion. She watched as Ezra's body shook with sobs, his shoulders heaving up and down as tears streamed down his face.

Slowly, she made her way back to where he was kneeling on the floor. She knelt beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder, feeling the warmth of his skin under her fingertips.

"Ezra, what's going on?" she asked softly, her voice gentle and caring.

Ezra looked up at her, his eyes red and swollen from crying. "I've been under a lot of pressure at work," he said, his voice choked with emotion. "I am about to lose my company, the information I was able to gather said that I offended a business, Mogul. And he wants me out of business. Sweetheart, I know I messed up earlier, and I'm sorry. But I need your help, Shasa. I don't know what to do."

Shasa felt a pang of empathy as she heard Ezra's words. She knew how much his company meant to him, and she could see the toll it had taken on him. Slowly, she helped him to his feet and led him to the couch. She sat down beside him and took his hand in hers.

"Ezra, I forgive you. And I will help you," she said softly. Ezra looked at her, his eyes filled with gratitude and relief. "Thank you, Shasa," he said, his voice choked with emotion. "I don't know what I would do without you." Shasa smiled," I love you, Ezra, and I would do anything for you. I will arrange for a meeting with Mr Frank. Though I will have to pay him for his help. But I believe his connections can help your company," she explained.

Shasa grabbed her phone and dialled Mr Frank's number and waited anxiously for him to answer.

"Hello, this is Mr Frank speaking," a deep voice said on the other end of the line.

"Hi, Mr Frank, this is Shasa," she said, trying to keep her voice steady.

"Ah, Shasa, how are you?" he asked, sounding genuinely surprised to hear from her.

"I'm good, thank you. Listen, I was wondering if I could arrange a meeting with you to discuss something important."

There was a brief pause on the line before Mr Frank spoke again.

"Of course, I would be happy to meet with you. What is it that you wanted to discuss?"

"It's about Ezra's company," Shasa said, her voice trembling slightly. "I know that he's been struggling lately, and I was hoping that you might be able to offer some advice or guidance on how to save it."

There was another pause on the line, and Shasa could hear Mr Frank shifting in his seat.

"Shasa, I appreciate your concern for Ezra's company, but I'm not sure there's much that can be done at this point. The company is in serious trouble, and it may be best to cut our losses and move on."

Shasa's heart sank as she heard these words. She had hoped that Mr Frank might be able to offer some solutions, but it seemed like he had already given up on the company.

"Please, Mr Frank, I know that Ezra has made some mistakes, but he's a good man and he's worked so hard to build this company. I just can't bear the thought of seeing it all go to waste."

There was a long pause on the line before Mr Frank finally spoke again.

"Alright, Shasa. I'll meet with you the day after tomorrow at my office. But I can't promise that there's anything I can do to help."

"Thank you, Mr. Frank. I appreciate it more than you know," Shasa said, feeling a glimmer of hope starting to grow inside her. "I'll be there."

After Shasa hung up the phone with Mr Frank, she turned to Ezra, her heart racing with anticipation. She was hoping that the meeting with Mr Frank would provide some much-needed help for Ezra's struggling company.

Ezra looked at Shasa, and she could see the desperation and fear in his eyes. Without a word, he stood up from the couch and pulled her into a tight embrace.

"I'm sorry," he whispered in her ear, tears streaming down his face. "I'm so sorry for everything that I've put you through. You don't deserve any of this."
