Her mercy to His penitence

"Don’t do it love! Please. Am sorry I hurt you. How can I live without you? Forgive me. " The girl stood at the cross road. Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. She was now an empty soul that was hanging on a thin thread. She was only breathing, but being alive never counted as living. It was time to let go. The Ambush

Dave and Javier drove away once they were done with their talk. Jasmine was cool. They didn't think she would get along well with them but to their surprise, things turned out better than they expected.

Dave drove while Javier played games on his phone. In front of them, they could see another Jip which had Jasmine, Max, and Beau in it. " Are you alright? Things didn't quite go as we expected it to be." Dave's voice broke  Javier's concentration. He looked up from his phone.

" Since I have done all that I could, I have no complaints. I am grateful that he gave me a chance to explain myself. I expected too much from our meeting. Both good and bad. Alas, I shouldn't have had any expectations. He is no longer the little guy I fell in love with."

There was a sense of loss from the tone he used. Javier recalled Beau's face when he spoke to him. There was no trace of emotions. He had thought that Beau would at least hate him. Yet, even that was too much to give.
