Beau sat in the middle with Max and Jasmine on either side of his body. He was fidgeting nervously with his fingers. He felt an itch to chew on his nails, but he was afraid that Max would misunderstand.
His heart was beating rapidly within his chest. It wasn't that he loved Javier, it was just the rush from all the emotions that flooded his mind. Jasmine instinctively covered his large hand with her own.
Max did the same too on the other side. Each one was in deep thoughts. Two men walked towards the room marked as private on the fifth floor of a continental hotel. One was fully at ease watching his partner.
The other was nervous. He kept adjusting the shades he had on as though it suddenly became larger. Dave gently tugged on his hand and squeezed it. There was no need for words between them. He understood his partner's anxiety.
