Chapter 8

It was the next day and I went down stairs seeing the note on the table I read it. 'hay angle If you're reading this just know I left to deliver a painting I'll be back soon. I looked outside and saw it was raining. I sighed and went out to look for her. After awhile of searching the village I heard something, It was in a alley. It was arguing and one voice sounded like rosealie. I rushed over and saw a man and Rose, She looked injured and soaked. I ran to her and pushed the man out the way. "Rose are you okay?" She looked up at me, she was shaking. I sighed and wrapped my jacket around her and carried her home. When we got home I sat her down on a chair. I got a towel and first aid kit. I gave her a towel to dry off, after she was dry i took care of her injuries. She was still shaking, "Go up stairs and change out of those wet clothe and I'll make some hot chocolate okay?" She nodded and went up stairs while I made hot chocolate along with starting a fire in the fireplace. When she came back down and sat by the fire I gave her a cup of coco. She smiled "thank you angle but you didn't have to do that" I shook my head sitting next to her "One I wanted to two I am your guardian It Is my job to take care of you" She drank her coco and smiled more. "It tastes amazing" I smile "thank you" I put a hand on her head "You should be more careful though you could catch a cold" she looked at me "I will" I looked down at her "Also why where you and that man arguing?" She sighed "Because I wouldn't go with him to his house. As a result he hit me" She looked down. I hugged her "It'll be okay rose" She hugged me "Thank you" She yawned and I picked her up laying her on the couch with a blanket over her. I picked up her cup and put it on the table, she slowly fell asleep and I sat back by the fire letting her sleep.
