Chapter 26: Teaching In Italy

SUNDAY MORNING

AMANDA’S POV:

I’m so nervous, tomorrow is my first day at my new school. So many thoughts are going through my head, I’m walking around the house pacing back and forth nervously and it's only in the early morning.

I’m not sure what to wear because they dress differently here than in Delaware. It seems to me that they dress fancier than I’ve ever dressed for a job before. I know this is my new career and I’m supposed to dress better, but I’m going to have to go out and buy new work clothes.

While Antonio sleeps, I’m going to sit on the patio with a pen and paper and write down stuff that I must get for school. On my first day, I want to make a good impression.

The maid brought me my cup of coffee while I’m sitting here. I'm jotting down a few things: pencils, pens, tablets, sticky notes, a stapler, small Nik-Naks for my desk, folders, and so on. Just all the stuff that a teacher needs to teach. I already have a laptop so that’s one less item I’ll need to get.
