Set on the edge of the endless forest with a river running right through the middle leading to a waterfall barreling down a spiraling cliff facing the western ocean below, there sets a house. Not too big but not too small. A bit shabby but not worn. It wasn't fancy but it emanated a warm aura that was soothing to look at.

Walking toward it came a man. This man seemed to be in his early 30s. He had a well built body. Not big but sturdy. His hands were ridden with callouses showing years upon years of dedication to some sort of craft. His face was nothing special but what stood out were his striking and almost iridescent gray eyes. However a visible scar could be seen crawling up his neck and cheek which led to many passersby feeling intimidated.

A dagger could be seen on his waist along with a bow and quiver on his back. Strung over his shoulder he carried a boar and a couple rabbits signifying he had a successful hunt.

He opened the door to his home and announced "Honey I'm back with a haul"

A body could be heard rushing to the entrance. A woman could be seen stumbling around the corner almost falling in the process. "Damian I swear to all that is holy if you make a loud entrance like that again I will rip you apart then put you back together again"

As he was setting down is kills and equipment Damian looked at his wife lovingly then said with an almost cocky voice "Helena, in the couple times we have dueled I always had the upper hand"

Helena was a similar age to her husband albeit slightly older. She had flowing blond hair and striking green eyes. She wore a simple common dress that contrasted her noble face and she exuded a fiery aura that was warm most times but could easily turn into a blazing flame at other times. Her face showed a shocked expression for a slight second then returned to a scowl. She then lifted her hand in the air, made a fist then pulled her hand towards her body. Still smiling, almost laughing Damian was pulled with much ferocity right into his wife's hand. With her hand wrapped around his collar and in a stern voice she said "It seems as though after becoming a mother you think that I am any weaker, don't test your luck little boy"

"I apologize I can't help but tease when my beautiful wife is so adorable when she's angry"

Helena blushed hard and then turned away, "I'll let you off this time"

"And you're not that much older than me" Damian said under his breath

"Did you say something darling?" Helena turned back now more furious than before.

"Nope nothing"

"I should really learn to shut up" Damian thought as he followed his wife into the hallway.

Passing a couple rooms the two entered the farthest in the hallway and opened the door. Inside sat three cribs in each one lay a toddler two were fast asleep while one could be seen awake and trying to roll over.

"See Damian this is your fault now. I just put Cain to sleep and now he's awake again."

"But look at him trying to roll over, he's so cute."

"I thought since they were triplets they would all behave the same"

"But then that wouldn't be fun. It is because they are so different that we love them so much"

"But I wish it would be slightly easier, Leon and Alex are so easy to put to bed but Cain is just too stubborn" Helena walked over to her son and proceeded to pick him up. Cain looked over his mother's shoulder at his father and gave him a smile.

Damian clutched the left side of his chest and with a strained voice he said "Uugh my son is too cute"

"Lucky you have two more to dote over"

"Mmm, I'll be going to wash up"

"Ok I'll be going to bed once I put Cain back to bed"

Damian gave his family one last smile before turning his back walking out of the house toward the river. Beside it resided a stump with a couple of swords laying next to it. Damian picked one up with grace and lifted it to the sky with both hands. He closed his eyes and meditated for a couple of seconds. He then opened them with the moonlight reflecting off them. He looked rather imposing but also very mysterious. He tightened all of his muscles as he swung his sword down. What followed could only be described as beautiful. A silver light followed his sword path as it came crashing down. When he stopped a massive shockwave completely split the river in front of him. He then practiced, and to an outsider it would seem like he had only done it for a couple minutes but to him it was hours. Each singular detail was so meticulously displayed. Each little muscle fiber being used at the exact time for absolute perfection in each strike. After finishing the form he pulled the sword back in front of him then to his hip as if he had a sheath, he then bowed respectively to his invisible opponent and set the sword back where he had it before.

He then started to undress and waded into the river to clean himself off. The scar that ran across his neck also ran down his torso and many others could be seen across his back. Damian lifted his hand to his cheek and ran his fingers down his scar. Coming out of his daze he remembered that he was supposed to be bathing. He hurried and finished when he looked up and saw someone standing under a tree. "Y'know it's rude to stare right?"

"Well I can't help it, you were taking so long I was worried the moon might take you from me." Helena stood under the tree, arms crossed with a pouty look.

"Well as you can see I'm still here soo-"

"I still need to pay you back for making me put Cain to sleep twice. Grab your sword Commander."

Damian gave her a confused look, "I just bathed, are you serious?"

"I am very serious, now get out here before I freeze that water."

Damian reluctantly got out of the water and put on his pants.

"Why aren't you putting on your shirt?"

"I have to have some sort of advantage don't I?"

Grabbing his sword he took a more relaxed stance. Helena realized she had been staring at her husband's chiseled body a little too long. "That's not very fair Damian." Helena said, readying her hands.

"It's not supposed to be fair" Damian smiled then dashed forward. Helena conjured several small fireballs and launched two of them. Damian easily sidestepped one and then slashed the other. But in the process he noticed something was off with them. Helena then sent the last one at Damian's torso. Damian with his free hand put his hand and blocked it. "Y'know fire is supposed to be hot right"

"Shut up it's your fault for not putting your shirt on I didn't want to burn you"

"See… advantage"

The two were engaged in a mage versus swordsman dance. Spells flying from Helena's hands and a shimmering silver light coming from Damian's sword. Damian's smile was only getting wider as his wife's annoyed face became more and more pouty. At some point her annoyance reached anger as she couldn't hit Damian with any of her spells. She then used wind magic to propel herself towards him and reached for his arm.

"Oh getting more aggressive now are we"

"AAHHH you are so annoying" She grabbed his arm and sent an electric shock stunning Damian.

"Oh shock treatment... kinky"

Damian stood stunned with a bitchass smile on his face for a second as Helena then flew backward. She raised her hands into the air and started growing a massive fireball. Damian was stunned for longer than he thought and started to look worried, the fireball reaching two meters in size was almost looking like the sun. "Uhhh hey honey isn-"

"Oh don't start with the pet name bullshit. You better hope that you can activate your aura when this gets to you," Helena then threw her hands down and set the fireball towards the helpless man. Damian's worried look then turned into a sly smile as he seemingly teleported behind Helena and gave her a hug as the fireball touched the water and exploded sending steam everywhere. "I win"

"Hey we promised no movement arts"

"I don't remember that"

"Now you got your stupid sweaty body all over me"

"Another reason why I didn't wear a shirt, now both of us need to bathe again."

Helena kept her mouth shut and clenched her teeth, her face was hotter than the fire she made and she was furious, but she let herself be picked up and carried by Damian to the river under the silver moonlight.
