95 Platform Number Four

Caroline paced towards the Cardiology wing. Finally, that forced vacation was over. She had time to think over things. About her, about Morpheous. She wanted to talk to him and clear all the air out because now she knew. She knew who he was.

"Where is Morpheous? I can't reach him. I need to see him immediately." She queried at the nursing station. 

"Erm… Dr. Caroline, I think you should talk with Erica first." Manila answered her hesitantly.

"What? Why? What happened?" 

"Morpheous has resigned and has left this morning." Elora bluntly replied.

"He has what?"

"Give her the letter, girl," Elora asked, but Manila responded with glaring eyes.

"What letter?" 

Pulling the envelope from Manila's desk, Elora handed it over to Caroline. 

"I think you better read it in your chamber!" Manila suggested and looked down. But Caroline opened the letter then and there instead.
