Life falling back to normal - 2

Caroline's whole day went in a rush running from ER to outdoor to OT for an emergency case. Had it been any other day, the scenarios may not have turned in her favor, given the condition in which the patients had been brought in.

But because of the healing touch of Morpheous, she was able to save all the three critical patients.

So when the sun came melting down turning into the hues of orange, she picked up her tired self and started walking towards her chamber. 

"Hey!"

A voice came from behind, and she turned back to look at the person fondly.

Flashing his ID card fondly, Morpheous looked at her with eyes filled with hope and a promise of a new tomorrow.

"Wow… Reinstated?"

"Looks like it!" He said and placed the card back into his pocket.

"Did they ask you questions?"

"Well the HR was about to ask but as Dr. Van narrowed his eyes, they kept quiet. He has … quite a reputation I must say."
