Chapter Fifty Eight

...Despite all that had happened with her family Zawadi realised that she was right where she wanted to be. Where she was wanted. She learned that home is not a place but it's those around you who make it home.

That night after dinner she had a long chat with Lucas before she went to John's house in anticipation of the next day.

"So you mean they caused the death of you unborn child? " John asked for the hundredth time after listening to Zawadi's story.

"Yeah, for the hundredth time" She answered rolling her eyes.

"Wow, I can't believe that your own family did that to you. I can only imagine. I guess we both have family troubles" he said with a heavy sigh.
