There is a manor located in Wiltshire, owned by a family who is very rich and has a high position in society. This noble house that is so magnificent and full of ancestral relics has been passed down from generation to generation.
The house was magnificent not only from how the place was decorate with all the ancient and expensive relics, knick-knacks, paintings, books and journals, but also from how there was something unique in the air.
An invisible legacy left its mark and lingering on every brick on the wall, on every piece of furniture in the room, even on objects as small as porcelain, something that could only be felt but incomprehensible by outsiders, except for those of the same blood in the family.
This is where the current head of the family lives with his wife and only son, safe within the ancient barrier of invisibility and protection that surrounds the house from strangers and non-magical persons.
This family couple had never felt as panicked and worried about their son's condition and future as now, not even when the dark lord fell from power before. It had been the seventh day since their beloved son had yet to wake up from a coma due to an unexpected incident while attending the Quiditch World Cup and they were already on the verge of breaking down.
Initially, after receiving medical assistance, they were not too worried because with magic their child should have recovered as his condition was not critical and he did not suffer serious injuries to begin with, but they did not expect that their child would not wake up.
They have done everything they can, bringing in expert healers from various places, even their trusted family friend and their son's godfather who is a potion expert have also helped, but up to now there has been no change and there is no sign of why their son hasn't woken up yet.
"I'm sorry, Narcissa," the man said softly as he sat down, holding his cane tightly. The woman sitting holding a teacup beside him could only purse her lips except for her teary eyes, her expression devoid of any emotion.
"What did the latest healer say?"
the man could only shake his head with a look of despair.
the woman took a slow controlled breath "what about Severus?"
"He is still looking for other alternative ways"
"I told you from the start not to get involved in that stupid thing, Lucius."
"it shouldn't be a serious thing in the beginning, just to reminisce about the dark lord's time"
"and look what happened, you and Malfoy's name came under suspicion and our son fell into a coma from who knows what dark magic was cast on him"
"We're still not sure the reason why he hasn't woken up, Narcissa."
The man sighed, from the diagnoses of various healers there was no black magic in their son except for the magic that was cultivated in the family. Nothing strange was found throughout their son's body and mind, only a few episodes where their son's magic was out of balance, but it was not dangerous, so their son's unconscious condition made them despair.
suddenly the door to their son's room opened and the house elf ran out screaming
"Young Master Draco is awake!!!"
Instantly Narcissa ran over to their son without caring about any manners, the calm demeanor she had maintained earlier was gone.
"Notify the healer" he said as he walked after his wife.
"Yes master Malfoy sir"
When he got there he tried to remain calm as he watched their son while gently grasping one of his wife's shoulders from behind. He felt Narcissa start to tremble as Draco, although still dazed, had his eyes blank as if he didn't recognize us.
We waited anxiously as the healer began to check Draco's condition. But a moment later the healer hurriedly ordered the house elf to get the potion, after he administering it, Draco began to lose consciousness again.
"What has happened?" he said coldly
"His magic is getting more and more rampant, it's dangerous for his magical core if it's not calmed down first. There's no problem detected in him as we previously diagnosed, now that he's awake we can take a closer look if there's nothing wrong then it's fine to go back to normal activities" said the healer while looking at the diagnosis parchment.
"Just like that? He's been unconscious for seven days without any strange reason-"
"Respectfully, Mr. Malfoy, have you ever thought that the black magic he was taught previously had bad effects or was not in accordance with the essence of his magic?"
"That's impossible, you-"
"Lucius" Narcissa interrupted gently with a firm voice "Allright, healer Payne, what should we look out for?" she said while looking at Draco.
After a while they left the room and decided to continue the discussion in the study.
A few hours later, when all activity in the manor had ceased and all the residents were asleep, the only son of the Malfoy family woke up.
