Chapter 7 – Analysis Card

"Hello, can you hear me? I am going to assume that you can hear me. If none of you have been on that White Ground thing that popped out of nowhere, then you should. It is some kind of safe ground. We are going to make a ton of noise so all the zombies come towards this direction. Take that chance to run."

Rei hugged Hisashi's arm, standing inside the safe zone, looking at the crowd of students who had managed to survive. Many of them were already leaving the safe zone, using the chance that the zombies were distracted to run towards the parking lot, "Hisashi, Takashi, what should we do."

"I am going to wait for Aurum. He knew this was happening and I want to know why," Takashi looked at the safe area that was clearing swiftly. Everyone was running away in panic. Some of them were already shouting that this statue was the source of zombies and running as far as possible. To their homes and families. While there were few who stayed behind. He could see the purple-haired girl sitting on the chair, holding what seemed like a real sword.

"I agree with Takashi. At least we should learn what Aurum knows of this."

"Yeah, someone warned us about it," Takashi scratched his head, looking towards the statue same as her. He still couldn't believe it was happening, "What do you think is happening? Are the zombie's fake?"

"No, they are real. Or at least, they were real until that thing appeared. It's as if the rules of the world changed the moment it appeared. Now did it appear because zombie's apocalypse began or was it the one that started it so it could appear," Saeko narrowed her eyes, watching the statue closely with emotionless eyes.

"Yeah…" Takashi agreed with her, when they all heard two shouts.

"Aurum!!"

"Aurum-chan!"

It made everyone turn their eyes towards the blonde-haired boy, who walked out of the building, only to see their teachers, Kyoko-sensei and Marikawa-sensei jump on him, pushing their large breasts against his body, squeezing him between their bodies. Saeko couldn't help smile seeing the familiar sight even at the end of the world, "As usual. Our teachers horny."

"Ugh-!!" Takashi came to a sudden halt, stunned hearing her words. He looked away, scratching his cheek, trying not to comment on that when he looked towards Kyoko-sensei and Marikawa-sensei. Their clothes were a mess, and their boobs were spilling out as the two of them threw themselves at him. If he kept watching a few moments longer than he was sure his body react in ways that would embarrass himself.

He was thinking when Saeko passed him, and the others gathered around were going towards that direction too. He was like everyone, everyone wanted answers about what was happening.

"You two, give me some space," Aurum grabbed Kyoko's and Shizuka's face, pushing both of them away before Saya, who was on the verge of erupting made a scene.

"But~! Aurum-chan!"

"Don't spoil my name by adding chan to it!" Aurum let go of Shizuka's face, seeing the group gathering in front of him, 'ah…I am so nervous, right now. This feels like inquisition. How should I manage this. Lead or act. Truth or lie? What should I do?'

"Answer is Eve."

"We didn't even say anything yet. How can answer be Eve," Rei shot a suspicious look towards him.

"Answer of all your questions is Eve," Aurum chuckled. He didn't wait for them to ask. He explained, "How did I know? Someone from America called babbling to Eve, saying he could protect her if she went with his right now. Then another guy called saying something similar, which worried us. I didn't know it was zombie invasion or something. All I figured out was that people were falling into a rage for some reason. And it was spreading all over the world really fast."

He pointed towards the statue, "that thing I have no idea. I didn't know it was a zombie invasion. I knew society was about to get destroyed, but even if I shouted and told everyone, then no one would believe me. Even Saya's father didn't seem to know anything. I called the school to warn, but they didn't listen to me either. Then police appeared at my doors so I had to escape. Now, we are in this situation."

Rei's gaze remained skeptical as she listened to Aurum's explanation. The gravity of the situation was beginning to sink in for everyone gathered there. The world had turned chaotic, and the appearance of the statue remained a perplexing mystery. Still, Aurum's words seemed to resonate with some of them.

Saya stepped forward, her expression a mix of frustration and concern. "Eve? Where is Eve? Don't tell me you left her alone?"

"No, I prepared everything for Eve. Even if an Army of Zombies were to attack her, then she'd be able to protect herself for an hour and we'd hear something," Aurum reassured her, "Now, does someone have anything else to say?"

"Have you picked up these cards," Saeko stopped in front of him, showing him the platinum card. She swiped at it, causing words and numbers to appear in front of his eyes.

"We never got the chance to pick it up, but they drop all the time," Hisashi said.

"Why not try mine," Saeko gave her card to him.

"Show me first. If anyone can figure out whaaattt, what are you doing!!" Saya looked towards the card that Aurum took away from her hand, giving it to Hirano.

"Here, Hirano is the one who killed the zombies. There seems to be an experience bar. See if you can level up," Aurum threw the card to Hirano who fumbled, catching the card.

"What…? What!" He froze, seeing Saya's dangerous glare, feeling sweat drip on his back, "I am going to die!"

"Yeah, yeah, she'll be good," Aurum checked his own card.

You have to poison them, then learn to fight as a child, then kill anyone with hidden weapons, plan since you have a child's body, sneak around and infiltrate. Be sure to know you surrounding, always be on your toes, know first aid, survive in the vents, gather information on the source of the problem and then assassinate them to take care of the problem."

Aurum looked towards his level, and experience that he had collected when Saya took the card from him, checking his skill, "that's strangely specific. You sure thought about it a lot."

"No, Saya," Hirano tugged on Saya's clothes, "I don't think he just thought about it."

Takashi rested the baseball bat on his shoulder. He couldn't see the skills, but they could tell from the expression that they were impressive, "So? What should we do now? I want to go check on my parents."

"I want that too," Hisashi took out a key from his pocket, "I took the keys to one of the buses that we use for Clubs. Good thing is those tiles avoided the bus so there is one right there. We can take it."

"I have a car and a bike parked at Sevensons too," Aurum agreed with him, "I have guns, weapons, swords, machete, blow torch, among other weapons that could be useful."

"You really prepared everything," Rei's eyebrow twitched as she commented.

"Well, I had to use all my connections and call more than a few favours," Aurum shrugged, "Then again. The world has ended, so they better not expect me to repay them. Anyway. You can stay here in the safe area—"

"As if! That is the stupidest idea!!" Saya shouted, "What if this place disappears! Zombies still gather outside! What are we going to do if we run out of a safe zone! We are going to be overwhelmed!"

"Still, no one said we can't use it," Aurum thought as he thought of an idea, "What do you guys say about levelling up a little before leaving?"

"Levelling?"

"Yeah, I just had a great idea," he tilted his head as an assured look appeared in his eyes. He watched the school and then the sword, "Yeah. This is perfect farming ground."
